Hotel berhampiran Sint-Martinuskerk, Vaals

We stayed here for a night and it’s basic and fine. The breakfast just had the necessities like some eggs, bread, cheese, ham, etc. but it was good. They also had a nice coffee machine so if you want to drink a cappuccino you can! While the breakfast area was small, it was enough to seat quite a few guests. When we arrived (I believe it was around 8:30am) there were tables that were not cleared yet and during our breakfast only one of those tables was cleared and cleaned which is something they could improve so the guests don’t have to stare at trash all the time. The room did not have a fan or an airconditioning, which is fine, but we also could not open the windows at night because they did not have screens and there were quite a lot mosquitoes and other unwelcome guests waiting to get into our room. The windows were also extremely dirty which is quite disgusting since they open inwards. The beds were clean and the mattress was soft and surprisingly comfortable! The bathroom had soap and showergel/conditioner attached to the wall and the showerhead was small but powerful. For the elderly there was a chair in the shower so you could sit down. The towels were clean and there were two shower towels per person. (the smell in the room also gave away a lot of elderly stay there) The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful so for people wanting to cycle or hike its perfect. Outside the hotel is a seating area where you can drink something. The seats were comfortable and there was plenty of shade. While you drink your cold beverage you can enjoy the view of a small lake and fountain separating the hotel from a main road. We read online this was a 2 star hotel but it was worth 4 stars. In our opinion everything was fine but compared to other 2 and 3 star hotels we stayed at it is definitely not worth 4 stars. Definitely a hotel to consider for an event so you basically only have to sleep there. Room is very large and there are extra pillows, always a plus! Nice bathroom and shower. Big wardrobe with a safe. Kettle for tea and coffee in the room, with sugar and creamer. On site restaurant was very good, we had dinner there. Staff are lovely. Free parking across the street. In an odd spot, sort of a ***** mall with the entrance in the middle. Very comfy. Only negative was the lamps are a bit dim, but the room has a balcony!

Das Hotel liegt 5 min von der Fußgängerzone entfernt und bildet einen guten Startpunkt, um Aachen kennenzulernen. Park Möglichkeiten gegen Gebühr in der Tiefgarage des Hotels.

Absolutely fantastic staff. Could not do enough for their customers. Checking them in, serving beers, serving food. Only 2 staff members on a busy F1 weekend. Very hard working, a credit to the brand. Thank you ladies

Nestled in a captivating setting, we enjoyed a delightful lunch experience. The menu options, though traditional, exuded reliability. I began with a tempting cheese platter and indulged in a refreshing serving of steak tartare. The wine list, enriched with a selection of German wines, added to the culinary charm. While the service was commendable, there was a slight absence of clear guidance, leaving uncertainty about who held the reins. Nevertheless, it stands as a commendable choice for a pleasant lunch outing. You need to pay 7,50 Euro for parking

We stayed for 2 nights, the room for 3 was basic but very spacious, comfortable beds, how ever the bathroom area has no door, the wc and shower both have a glass door that you can totally see through, and hear everything, very embarrassing! The hotel is very big and the food is great, breakfast, dinner, drinks- all nice and not too expensive. The service was not good, our room wasn’t ready when we got there, and when we finally got to it, the third bed wasn’t ready (no towels too), the breakfast payment was very hectic, and finally when it rained they wouldn’t open the gate for us to go in the parking area because “the parking is flooded “, after 5 (!) calls on the intercom, we managed to drive in and found a small puddle, not even close to a flood (our other car wasn’t even wet!). It was really stupid and rude and just unnecessary.

Service was goed. Kamer compleet. Ontbijt goed verzorgd en ruime keus. Helaas hadden wij de Kamer boven de Irish Pub. Dat is knap waardeloos. Tot 4.00 uur geen oog dicht gedaan. Ondanks ramen dicht ventilator aan, ook geen airco, en was erg warm....Deze kamers boven de pub zouden eigenlijk nuet gebruikt moeten worden......

Een verblijf in Kasteel TerWorm is echt een belevenis. Vanaf het moment dat je het terrein oprijdt, voel je de bijzondere sfeer. Het kasteel heeft een prachtige tuin, waardoor je direct in een heerlijke “relaxmodus” komt. De service is top. Het personeel is vriendelijk en professioneel, ze zorgen ervoor dat je je van harte welkom voelt. Het eten in het restaurant was een hele culinaire belevenis. De gerechten waren creatief en elk bord was een plaatje. De wijnkeuze was uitstekend, inclusief deskundig advies van de sommelier. TerWorm geeft een unieke ervaring waarbij luxe, comfort en gastronomie samenkomen. Het is de ideale plek voor wie op zoek is naar een speciaal uitje. Absolute aanrader!!

In een prachtig gebouw een prima en royale economykamer gehad. Goede douchefaciliteiten. De medewerkers aan de receptie zijn voorkomend. Gevraagd om een waterkoker en kregen toen meteen de vraag of we ook bekertjes en theezakjes wilden. Wij konden vanuit hier weer heerlijk uitgerust verder met de Dutch Mountain Trail.

Interesting, entertaining place! Efficient, friendly and satisfying… Car parking should be available closer by. The hotel itself is well designed. Please watch your TV channel list, half of channels are not available. Overall recommendable - Keep it up!
