Novotel Valencia opened in 2024. When I checked in, I felt that it might still be in the trial operation stage, because the bar and swimming pool on the top floor were not open yet, which was a pity.
However, I was still very satisfied with the hotel's service. The front desk staff was very helpful. When I found that there was no electric kettle in the room, he quickly helped me to deliver it to the room. Another time, the elevator card swipe did not work properly, and he personally escorted us back to the room, which was very considerate.
But regarding the check-out time, I want to complain to Ctrip. The check-out time marked on the Ctrip platform is from 1 to 2 o'clock, but the hotel actually stipulates that check-out before 12 o'clock, and the room card will automatically expire after 12 o'clock. I hope Ctrip can reconfirm and verify the check-in and check-out times of the hotel to avoid causing trouble to other travelers.

I booked a twin room but it turned out to be a double bed, so when I asked, they said it was because it was two single beds attached, so it was a twin room. I asked them to separate the beds, but they said they couldn't do that. After I protested and returned to the room, a male staff member came and changed the other room back to a twin. Even when they changed it, they took my luggage with me. It was unpleasant.

Room and bathroom were very clean. Friendly staff, quick check in procedure. Awesome location. Rooms with a good soundproofing (we've been here during the Fallas festivity, firecrackers all over the town). Overall, very satisfactory stay.

The first person that met me in the hotel was Elena ,who was serving the priority guests at the chek in desk . Was smiling so heartily that I had feeling that we know each other for 20 years. Staff was very helpful,very kind and well trained .they are doing their best not to tell NO to anybody . The rooms are very comfy ,and the most important point is that the hotel just built and opened . You’ll have fun guys here .

We booked this hotel seeing that it had a roof top pool and bar. Needing some urgent vitamin d, it looked perfect for the 20c weather Valencia had to offer. It is close to historic quarter and the beautiful park. Some restaurants and shops just outside. On arrival you could smell fresh paint and see lots of work taking place. The entrance area was nice and well staffed, with a business area and a fridge selling snacks. We went to our executive room on floor 10. It was brand new, very clean, but very small. They was a window that opened. The heating would not turn down. No matter what we did, it stayed over 26 degrees in the room, even when the window was open. Despite reporting this, it was not fixed. Wifi was strong, but 2 english news channels was poor. An english entertainment channel like BBC 1 or ITV is not a big ask. My biggest dissatisfaction was with the missing rooftop pool and bar, that were advertised on the website I researched the hotel on. They are only in early construction and will not be open for a long time. Looks like a restaurant is under construction as well. We felt very missold and were allowed to check out a day early, so we could go to a hotel that had the things we wanted and had expected. You can see that this will be a great hotel one day when it is finished, but I would check with the hotel before you travel if you are looking for AC, a pool or roof top bars.
