The location of the hotel was perfect. Close to the centre of the village, next to the train station. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast in the hotel was quite diverse: hot - scrambled eggs, sausages, also cold meat, cheese, jams, yoghurt, pancakes, cereals, bread, crosant, coffee, hernata, juices, chocolate. There was something for everyone. I strongly recommend.

Accueilli très tard, alors que ce très sympathique gardien de la sécurité a tout fait pour nous trouver une chambre sur la borne qui était fermée, réveil de la dame de l'accueil tout aussi sympa, super nuit tout nickel et belle déco, grand parc, de l'espace. L'accueil du nord n'est pas une légende. Petit clin d'oeil à la gérante, gardés vis collaborateurs ils sont rares... Belle journée

Don’t be put off by the outward appearance and location in an industrial area. This hotel has really comfy clean rooms, great nights sleep. Great value for an overnight stopover. Magiella (not sure of spelling) receptionist was really friendly and helpful.

Wir haben hier für eine Nacht während unserer Reise in die Bretagne gebucht. Das Hotel liegt ziemlich Nahe der Autobahn in einem Industriegebiet und ist einfach zu erreichen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Das Zimmer war etwas klein und dunkel aber sauber. Das Hotel hat schon bessere Zeiten erlebt und die Brandlöcher im Fußboden zeigen eine starke Nutzung. Das Frühstück war für den günstigen Preis einfach aber sehr reichhaltig. Insgesamt eine gute Möglichkeit, kostengünstig zu übernachten. Mann sollte bei dem Preis auch nicht zu hohe Ansprüche haben.

Accueil agréable. Personnel très gentil et professionnel. Très très bonne literie. Un petit déjeuner gargantuesque !! (Bien que le retrait du Maroilles ne soit pas judicieux à mon goût. Le fromage de St Amand n’est pas comparable hélas…). Dommage que le spa ait disparu… Et que le nouvel aménagement du ****** ne permette plus de se rendre au restaurant sans passer OBLIGATOIREMENT par dehors (pas top pour ces dames en jupe lorsqu’il fait très froid). La pièce d’identité à présenter obligatoirement pour aller dîner est à revoir absolument ! Pour celui qui ne va QUE dîner c’est inadmissible (et limite légal…). Situation de l’hôtel idéal pour les visites alentour.

Tres bien .le petit dejeuner pourrait être mieux : les fruits frais tres peu et devrait être coupé en petit dans un plat. Les seuls fruits qu’il y avait n’etait pas mur. Pas assez de yogurt , pas de fromage aux chevres ,le fromage qui y etait pas dutout frais, faut le mettre sous une coupole , meme chose pour le peu de viande fumé.

PPengguna TetamuI wanted to love this place! I wouldn’t have traveled to the middle of nowhere had I thought I would have had un unsatisfactory visit. My expectation was to have a relaxing spa weekend. I went directly to the spa for my first service after check in. The staff were very warm and friendly but I was very disappointed with the facial. I paid 110€ basically for mud to sit and dry on my face for an hour. No shoulder massage during. After the spa was dinner time. I emailed 4 days before my arrival for a reservation. I was told to wait 30 min when I arrived there was only one other table. The food was another disappointment but based on other reviews I read this wasn’t a big surprise. I started with a cold eggplant parmigiana really lacking flavor, the pasta was a heavy butter sauce overly salty. Well, time for a good nights rest. I tuck into my suit which I paid to for an upgrade. The bed was too firm for my backs liking. I woke the next day with a painful back I thought I would go to the spa for a massage but based on the previous day thought I would be left with another disappointment. I decided to call it quits and check out early. As a compensation to not leave I was offered a complimentary cheese board. I really didn’t feel like stuffing myself with cheese after this disappointing stay so I left the cheese behind packed my bags and headed out of town. Overall, the hotel has potential to be great. The renovations were beautifully done. Perhaps lacking a bit of soul with the decorations but with proper management and design a well trained spa team it could be great. Wish you the best but this time was a big flop.

I was in France for a training course and this hotel was recommended by the trainer as a good place to stay and she was not wrong. It's very well situated with lots of restaurants and shops within short walking distance. The room itself was larger than I expected for a European hotel and was very clean and well kept with a comfortable bed and good amenities. I didn't have to interact that much with the staff but check in/check out was smooth. I checked out early in the morning and the person on the front desk offered me a coffee to go which I greatly appreciated. Breakfast buffet had everything I needed to start my day and the tables were cleared very quickly. Overall it was a great stay. On a related note, I didn't get to see much of Valenciennes as I was in class all day and the time of year meant short days but what I saw was stunning. It's a beautiful place that has a more authentic feel to it than the larger cities in France and I'm already planning a trip for my wife and I to really get a chance to explore the whole place.

PPengguna TetamuLes appartements en eux-mêmes sont plutôt agréable quoique un peu vieillissant tout de même. On le remarque surtout au niveau des sanitaires (joints de douche jaune orange). Quelques odeurs d'égouts remontent parfois par le lavabo. Au niveau des prix, la nuit n'est pas extrêmement chère, en revanche, 15€ un petit déjeuner aussi misérable c'est du vol! Du blanc de dinde carrefour, quelques oeufs à cuire au micro onde (si vous avez la chance d'en avoir), presque pas de choix, bref j'ai fait des hôtels de bien meilleur standing, avec des petits déjeuner d'une qualité nettement supérieure et pour moins cher... La salle de sport est un plus, ne vous attendez pas non à faire des grandes séances mais le nécessaire pour se maintenir en forme est présent. Pour un séjour de 5 nuits, avec 5 petits déjeuner, pas de ménage dans la chambre (ou l'appartement) de prévu pour la totalité de la semaine.... Pour avoir des serviettes de rechange, il faut payer... En bref, si vous cherchez un endroit ou dormir avec quelques commodités pour vous faire à manger c'est pas trop mal mais le tarif du petit déjeuner est juste clairement de l'arnaque ainsi que les services jugés ”en option” alors qu'ils devraient clairement être inclus de base. Si ça n'avait pas été pour un voyage professionnel (donc frais pris en charge par mon employeur) j'aurais clairement été très en colère. A noter tout de même que le personnel est accueillant, souriant et bien sympathique. L'hôtel est calme (exception faite de la route mais ça ce n'est pas de leur ressort).

PPengguna TetamuNous venions passer quelques jours à Valenciennes que nous aimons beaucoup. Nous avons choisi une chambre avec kitchenette afin de ne pas être obligés de prendre notre petit déjeuner à l'hôtel à cause du prix et toujours pour la même raison afin de ne pas être obligés d'aller au restaurant midi et soir. Mais dans la kitchenette, il n'y a rien, sauf une bouilloire, mais pas de tasse, un réfrigérateur, un micro-ondes mais aucune vaisselle, pas même de petite cuillère ni un seul verre et aucune plaque de cuisson, donc on paye plus cher pour un service que l'on a pas, il faudrait donc venir avec une plaque de cuisson, de la vaisselle, éponge, torchons, produits d'entretien.... il y a le réfrigérateur que nous avons dû couper car même si nous avions apporté de l'apéritif, il n'y avait que les gobelets à dents et surtout il fait un bruit affreux. Les chambres sont tristounettes, sous les toits, en zinc, aucune climatisation, aération wc/sdbains : HS, pas de moustiquaires donc pas possible d'ouvrir, lampe de chevet HS pas possible de réparer, donc impossible de lire le soir lorsque mon mari dormait. Matelas ou plutôt sur-matelas qui glisse, les draps n'y tiennent pas et nous empêchent de dormir. le personnel est très gentil. Nous sommes très déçus et surtout n'apprécions pas du tout d'avoir payer pour cette fausse kitchenette, nous avons dû réduire (3nuits/6) notre séjour car trop couteux à cause de la restauration que nous n'avons pas pu y faire.

La chambre spacieuse à l'excellente literie, avec WC séparés et vaste salle de bains , permet un repos de qualité. Arrivé tard j'ai utilisé les services d'un room service efficace. Le petit déjeuner copieux pris dans une salle à manger art déco ne manque pas de charme. Quant au rapport qualité / prix il a peu d'égal.
