Overall not bad. If you like chill and calm places this is your hotel, but bare in mind it's located a bit out of the city so it's better to rent a car or a motorbike to facilitate transportation. The hotel is clean and the view is beautiful.just don't rely on the staff there they're lazy 😂

If you enjoy quiet and far from the city area, this will be the perfect location. Need to gone through gravel road, and you need to find your own tuk tuk ( preferable mode of transfer ) to reach here. The bungalow is quite spacious, hot water was OK, and the swimming pool is just OK too. Provide decent breakfast , and you can ask for town transfer ( just ask the office counter for arrangement ) Overall, it was a decent hotel in this rural area , good one.

A very pleasant stay on the outskirts of town. Its not close to "the action" but that is the draw for non-backpackers that don't want to be in the urban setting. Suggest getting a motorbike, makes getting into town and back easy (20 minute ride on a good road). Note this is a very Chinese-oriented resort - the restaurant is Chinese and attracts big groups for lunches and dinners - nothing wrong with that, but won't be a western menu if you want western food. Setting is lovely near the mountains. Definitely good value for money - would rate it in the 3/4 star range.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff are really friendly. The swimming pool was lovely and the kind of back garden which faces onto the river is super beautiful. I felt it was safe. I didn’t have any communication problems with the staff they helped to provide a car into town. If you are not going to rent a scooter or a vehicle then I wouldn’t suggest staying here but we just rented a scooter from the centre of town and that enabled us to travel freely between the town centre and the hotel.

The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful and it was nice to spend an afternoon by the pool near the mountains. The room was also nice, but there were quite a few bugs and ants crawling all over the toilet seat. Most of the other guests were either Laotion or Chinese, I was the only farang. The staff in the reception were very helpful and kind, however the other guests also enjoyed loudly talking about me assuming that I didn't know they were talking about me. However, it is fairly common knowledge that farang means foreigner, and a few other things they were saying were the same as the Thai words that I know. This did prevent my stay being as relaxing as it could, as I did then avoid busy areas, as I don't particularly want to be laughed at simply for being a farang woman. The staff in the restaurant also don't speak any English, this is not a problem, just something to be aware of, Google translate solved most issues.

Had booked the location to be in a quiet setting away from town. I thought we would rent a motorbike but in Laos, you need to leave your passport and we don’t do that so it didn’t work out. Without your own transport, the location is not good. Turns out we had noisy neighbours on the first night of our two night stay. I was just reading the previous comments about the Chinese owners and their hospitality from the Chinese guests. And it just may be better suited for Chinese guests!

The hotel is located in a stunningly beautiful place - the nature around is simply magnificent, which makes the rest here very atmospheric. A big plus is the staff: the employees are very friendly, always ready to help, polite and attentive to guests. However, the hotel itself, unfortunately, does not justify the declared star rating. Our room was in terrible condition. It clearly requires urgent repairs and modernization - the walls are shabby, the furniture is old, and there are cobwebs everywhere in the corners, which immediately leaves an unpleasant impression. The latch on the toilet door is missing. It is impossible to understand from the photo on the website that the house has a second floor, and this was an unexpected minus. The entrance to the second floor was in our block, so the neighbor constantly passed by us, creating noise. In addition, the audibility in the room was very high - every time the water was turned on or steps upstairs were clearly audible, which greatly interferes with a comfortable rest. Another drawback was the food. The choice of food is very poor, and coffee and desserts were completely absent, which was a disappointment. For a hotel that claims a certain level of service, such moments are unacceptable. Overall, the place is beautiful, the staff is nice, but the level of comfort leaves much to be desired. If the hotel is tidied up, it will be able to live up to its stars, but at the moment the impression remains ambiguous.

It is a bit far from downtown Vang Vieng, so it may be a bit inconvenient if you don't have a car, but there is a private valley inside the resort, so it is good for playing in the water, and the surrounding scenery is very good. The facilities are a bit old, but the bedding is clean, and there was no inconvenience in staying.

Vangrong is really worthy of its reputation in the rainy season. There were continuous thunderstorms all night and showers during the day. But thanks to the weather, I saw different landscapes. The hotel is adjacent to the Nansong River and backed by the mountain. The air is very fresh, the garden environment is beautiful, the vegetation is rich, and there are many fruit trees. It is really the best choice for Vangrong hotels in terms of cost performance. Except that it is a little far from the downtown area of ​​Vangrong, there are basically no other disadvantages. The owner is a large travel company in Suzhou, China. It is safe to stay and there is no barrier to communication in Chinese. I would like to praise the waiter Pan Juan. She provided us with meticulous service during the two stays this year. She is fluent in Chinese and warm and friendly!

The accommodation was clean and the location was good as it was on the riverside, but it was far from the city center so it was inconvenient to get around.

Well, we said that maybe they adjusted the restaurant's business hours during the off-season, so they were very reasonable and went back to the room without saying a word. We walked to the door of the room and prepared to ride a bike to the city to eat (the hotel is quite far from the city, and you need transportation or you have to pay to call a taxi). As a result, the waiter came to call us and said that we could eat again, so we went back to order. At that time, I thought it was a good intention and was still thanking them. Now I want to come to this group of people *****, why? Because when I checked out and had breakfast on the third day, I asked if I could have two poached eggs, and they said no 🙂↔️, I was quite surprised, and I asked if there were no eggs, and they said no, I said okay, I would eat bread slices, and then the usual butter on the table was not there, I asked if you could get me some butter, and they also said no... As a result, when I was chewing on the dry bread slices, another Chinese lady came over, and then The waiters told me that they had fried eggs, and brought out a plate of eggs from the kitchen. I was so excited that I said I didn't want any. I thought the Chinese lady was another customer. Later, she told us that they had fried meat. I realized that she might be their leader or boss. These local waiters were really ****. I communicated with them in a nice way (I can speak Thai, and they could fully understand me, not because they didn't know Chinese). I was very disappointed. Also, the side straps of our motorcycles were cut off in the morning. Security needs to be improved. Ah, it makes people feel that things are not safe at all and there is a risk of being stolen at any time (the side bag tape was cut by scissors or a knife, the gloves were still intact when I parked the car the night before, but I found the tape was cut manually when I set out the next day, a loss of 600+). In summary, the room is a single-family house and the environment is okay, the house is very ordinary (but the room price is not expensive, so this is understandable), but the waiter really drags down the mood. I don't know if you can understand that my mood is ruined by the waiter for the whole day (excluding the front desk, which is very good). Secondly, the security is lacking. I hope the security can be improved. At least get a surveillance camera to see who did it.

Vangvieng, Laos, a resort hidden in the mountains and forests, Laos Jin Champa Garden Resort, is well-deserved, the air is very good, the environment is very beautiful, it can be seen that the boss’s aesthetics is first-rate, I heard that it was invested by a boss from Jiangsu, there are The Chinese staff, don’t worry about the language barrier, also recommended hot air balloons, paragliders and off-road vehicles. You can help call a tuk-tuk and it's very convenient to go to town. The service was excellent. Had a great time. It was an experience that I still couldn’t get enough of, and I want to come again with my family.

The environment of the resort is good, there are orchards, and the food in the restaurant is also good, refreshing and delicious. The lights in the room are a bit dim, there is no hot water in the washbasin, and the toilet paper is too small.

This is a pretty good hotel in Laos. Of course it cannot be compared with the ones in China. I believe it will definitely get better and better in the future. The important thing is that the proprietress speaks Chinese very well, so it is easier to communicate.
