I had an incredible experience staying at Amari Vang Vieng. The hotel is beautifully designed and provides a peaceful atmosphere. One of the highlights of my stay was witnessing the sunrise with breathtaking views surrounded by balloons from the balcony.
The room was spacious and clean, and the swimming pool was another plus, allowing me to relax and enjoy the views. The restaurant next to the pool offers delicious food, I highly recommend it!
The breakfast was amazing, with a large variety of dishes that were very tasty. Overall, I had an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend Amari Vang Vieng to anyone visiting this lovely town.

We chose to stay here as our hostel in Vientiane recommended it. We only planned to stay for two night but ended up extending another 3 nights. It’s in a great location. The room was big and spacious and were cleaned everyday for us with fresh towels. Min and Dat at the front desk were excellent. Anything we needed whether it was the hot air balloon ticket, taxi or train ticket they were always so helpful and kind. Absolutely no issue with this place and for the price it was great.

First of all, close to everything, located on a very quiet street! We had a wonderful corner room, very bright, with nice view over the town and the lovely mountains. Staff is super sweet! The guy who is in charge at front desk is very very helpful and speaks excellent English. The hotel is a bit run down but very clean and good beds, hot shower, good WiFi. We did not use the pool, the water there looked so so. Breakfast okay, ask and they will give you what you want. Need tickets etc, they will fix it. You can pay with card. We had a very nice time!

Positives:
excellent location within walking distance to restaurants, night market, and scooter rentals.
Very good breakfast.
Spacious room and comfy bed.
Hot and high pressure shower.
Pool was nice.
Air con in the room was great.
A special shout out to the young man on reception who was very friendly, helpful, and had excellent English!
Needing improvements:
The shower water leaks under the door of the shower cubicle meaning the bathroom gets soaked.
The cleaners leave their dirty flip flops in the bathroom for when they clean it (don’t understand why they wouldn’t take these with them?)
Wi-Fi wasn’t great and we needed to get more codes from reception as ours kept expiring early.
Rooftop was lovely but had no chairs and tables on it like the picture online, which we were looking forward to to enjoy a beer.
Overall would recommend and will be back!

Dreamy view from the room if you get the villas, otherwise rooms are in the back, of the rice paddies, food is mediocre and on the pricey side, i wouldn’t have mind if it was delicious, but views were gorgeous but do take note that the paddies are not year round, make sure you visit when the fields are green, room is good for 2 people, since it is not that big, a bit of a walk from the city center/ restaurants! But if you enjoy walking up with a view, and love taking nice pictures, this is the hotel for you

For the price, the stay was okay. Rooms were clean. The breakfast was just okay. The bar service was not active and there is no restaurant on the premises to have lunch or dinner. During my stay it was raining heavily so it was inconvenient to leave the hotel to get food. The pool and view is beautiful. The location is great too. Walking distance to the walking street.

The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful and it was nice to spend an afternoon by the pool near the mountains. The room was also nice, but there were quite a few bugs and ants crawling all over the toilet seat.
Most of the other guests were either Laotion or Chinese, I was the only farang. The staff in the reception were very helpful and kind, however the other guests also enjoyed loudly talking about me assuming that I didn't know they were talking about me. However, it is fairly common knowledge that farang means foreigner, and a few other things they were saying were the same as the Thai words that I know. This did prevent my stay being as relaxing as it could, as I did then avoid busy areas, as I don't particularly want to be laughed at simply for being a farang woman.
The staff in the restaurant also don't speak any English, this is not a problem, just something to be aware of, Google translate solved most issues.

We stayed in Vang Vieng for nights and we decided to stay at Tmark Resort. We were impressed with our first step into their lobby. Nice view of the mountain as a lobby background. A warm welcome from the reception staff upon arrival. A porter staff helped us to carry our bags, he was so polite and helpful. Another ”WOW” in this resort is the view from our room. The room was spacious and in good condition. They also provide a free shuttle van to the town but we preferred to stay and enjoy our time in the resort. We tried their food at the restaurant for dinner and the food was delicious at a reasonable price. In the morning, we went to their breakfast and there were plenty of choices. We saw a good mix of European and Asian guests. Yummy bakery items and fresh noodles were included. Smooth checking out and we will be back again for sure.

I recently stayed at Lisha Hotel, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The bathroom had a constant foul odor, and the plumbing system was a nightmare. Every time I took a shower, the water would flood all over the bathroom, reaching the toilet and sink. To make matters worse, there was a big gaping hole under the sink that allowed lizards and bugs to come into my room, which was unacceptable. Despite claiming to be a four-star hotel, Lisha Hotel fell far short of that standard. I would rate it as a two-star hotel at best, and I would give it a mere one star based on my experience. The staff at the hotel were not helpful at all. They lacked English language skills and were unfriendly. When I asked about train tickets, they claimed it was all sold out, even though I later found out that I could easily purchase them at the train station myself. Their misinformation and unhelpful attitude made my experience in Laos very difficult, and it has left me with no desire to visit the country again. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend booking at Lisha Hotel. The foul odor, plumbing issues, lack of cleanliness, unhelpful staff, and poor customer service are not reflective of a four-star hotel, and it did not meet my expectations. I would advise looking for alternative accommodations to avoid similar disappointments during your stay in Laos.

PPengguna TetamuThe Phubarn hotel was one of the best hotels of our trip to Laos. It was recently built or renovated, has a well trained and forthcoming staff with moderate to exzellent command of English. .
The room was very clean, well equipped with a wonderful view on the mountains. Breakfast was very good, both Chinese and European Continental.
The pool is great, with a waterfall and a great view.
The only setback is the direct view on the Nam Song river, where often the motorboats with the tourists pass by. But this is offset by the superb view and modernity of the hotel. It is also situated in the vicinity of many pubs and travel agencies.
All in all it it great value for money and may be on the way to become the No.1 hotel in Vang Vienh.

Rooms are nicely decorated with different local Lao culture items and a nice terrace and balcony respectively to enjoy the views.
Spa is located right at the river front and several different packages are offered. Very enjoyable to relax in the afternoon.
Staff is nice and welcoming. Breakfast is great with nice views. Food offered at dinner is nice but was missing something.
Hotel is a bit dated but overall impression is very nice. Would definitely stay again.

MMarie_Kkfrecently stayed at Oudomsin Hotel in Vang Vieng and had a fantastic experience. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The room was spacious, clean, and incredibly cozy, offering a comfortable retreat after a day of adventure. The staff were exceptionally helpful, always ready to assist with a smile.
The hotel also features a lovely pool, perfect for relaxing in the afternoons. Breakfast was a highlight, with a variety of delicious options to start the day. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely choose Oudomsin Hotel again for my next visit to Vang Vieng. Highly recommended!

PPengguna TetamuCheck In Date : 29th August 2022. Check Out Date : 30th August 2022. Room : 505. Location : The hotel is located just 10mins walk from the main Vang Vieng Road. It is quite central and there is a small grocery shop in front of the hotel. We were walking from EK Mart and it is easy to just follow the main road and turn right on the temple with green statue. Then we reached the hotel which looks just amazing outside. But the area is quite quiet during the night. There is a small restaurant near the hotel which is frequented by the locals and the food is cheap but taste just as amazing. Reception and Lounge : The recep area is spacious and looks grand. The check in counter is small and there are soft cushions to relax while waiting for check in. The reception speaks good english and very helpful too. The whole area is spotlessly shiny. The guy working surprised me. When we parked our motorcycle right in front of the hotel for the night, the recep guy told us to bring the motorcycle inside. By inside, I mean, in the lounge area. It is the safest area to left the bike at night because it is right inside the building. Room : Room 505 is just spacious and grandiouse in terms of EVERYTHING. The size is massive, the bed is soft, the bathroom is big, the AC works well and the best part is the view. The 2 windows in the room gave us the best view of the mountains. We simply love it. It is highly refreshing knowing that I woke up seeing the karst mountain that made the backdrop of Vang Vieng town. The mattress are super soft and the free space is just crazy. The room can fit 3 double beds simply. We think we get more than what we paid. The fridge works well too. The lighting is also nice.' Facilities : This hotel is disabled friendly. It has a working elevator to reach the high floor and it has all the necessity to cater for the old person. The dining hall is located just next to the reception area and it has many tables too, good for chatting with other guests. The swimming pool is located at the far end of the recep area and it is medium in size. There are several chairs provided there. I was swimming in the pool around 8pm, and was the only one. Breakfast : The choice is not much during our stay maybe because the occupancy is low. There are fried rice, porridge, bread, cereals, eggs and some sausages. The porridge taste super nice. Satisfaction : We are really satisfied with the hotel and through our stay. We highly recommend this hotel for other traveler.

PPengguna TetamuSanctuary Nam Ngum Beach Resort might be a little off the beaten track, but WHAT A GEM! A calm and quiet oasis only two hours north of Vientiane, and just a short ride away from Vang Vieng. The accommodations are stylish, modern, and EXTREMELY comfortable, even luxurious. And the options you have for water sports / activities are many - pedal boating, jet skis, kayak, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, or just relax by the gorgeous swimming pool with a view out over the lake instead. The restaurant serves great food, and breakfast s varied and well-managed, and the staff do everything they can to ensure a pleasant stay, always with a smile. I wish I could have stayed longer!

PPengguna TetamuWonderful stay Alex has the highest sense of hospitality, honesty and helpfulness towards guests. He helped us to get last minute hot air balloon tickets, shared a lot of useful information and hosted us for two days all this with pure hospitality and without profit interest. Room was clean and with a great view over the mountains. The hotel is charming and made us feel at home. The location is quiet and perfect with loads of good restaurants around at night and a lovely market some early mornings.

We stayed here for two nights and the hotel itself was okay. Our room had previously had a large water damage on the ceiling which showed, but other than that it was fine. However you should not visit this hotel if you appreciate good service-minded management. Previous to our stay we had booked a hot air balloon ride through the management of the hotel. We had originally looked at another air balloon company but were persuaded by the hotel manager to book through her instead, as she claimed the trip would last for 1 hour instead of half an hour, which she claimed the other companies’ did. We paid the price as agreed upon and were extremely disappointed when the air balloon descended after only 30 minutes. Upon asking the manager about this, she suddenly changed her mind and said that her recommendation was based on a personal experience, where she was flown around for an hour. We made it clear that we expected a price reduction as we were not provided with the full experience we had paid for and that her guidance had been misleading. This she abruptly refused to give back part of the money and she became very unpleasant. She started answering back flippantly and ignoring our responses. We were supposed to leave the hotel a few hours later through a minibus, which she had booked for us, and suddenly she started threatening us to cancel the minibus and not help us with anything. Finally she decided to give us a 5$ price reduction (which is nothing considering we paid 95$). Definitely not a recommendation from here, which is a shame since the rest of the staff were nice.

PPengguna Tetamu剛出差到萬榮，13號公路邊看到這邊有個“川渝人家”的招牌就進去問了一下，發現有很多中國人都住在這裏。環境很不錯，有獨立的衞浴，空調，附近每天都可以看到熱氣球動力傘和太陽起落的畫面，最主要是老闆夫婦非常熱情，還可以吃到正宗的川菜，很不錯👍🏻

PPengguna TetamuThe rooms are average but nothing special, some hostel rooms in the area have been equally as nice or better. There was an issue with the hot water which lasted 12 hours, the water turned brown and smelt disgusting. There was no communication from the hotel about this, we had to check with them to be told that it would be looked at later on in the day. Hotel grounds and pool are okay but a bit run down. Breakfast was okay. The buffet food and hot drinks were left to run out and customers would have to request more and then wait. We had two bags of laundry done at the hotel and only had one was returned so wasted time trying to track the remaining clothes which we eventually got. We had asked the reception to book a TukTuk to get to the train station on the last day however they didn’t book this for us and we waited 15 minutes for another, causing us to almost miss our train. The reception staff aren’t welcoming and do the bare minimum. Wouldn’t recommend.
