Hotel berhampiran Chantier Naval Caudard Vannes Nautique, Vannes

Hôtel,Très bien situé Personnel très sympathique Chambre propre ,dommage que l’on peu boire seulement du thé car il y’a une bouilloire ,mais pas de cafetière à capsules seulement café lyophilisés Nous retournerons avec plaisir !! 

Quite a walk into the centre of Vannes. The rooms were comfortable and best of all had good air conditioning. Breakfast was fine although service in topping up the options was slow. Our big problem was that the hotel restaurant was closed for evening meals, which meant a fairly long walk into the town to find a restaurant. Not at all easy on a Sunday or Monday evening. Good secluded parking, which our group needed for our cars and pleasant staff.

My partner and I had booked our room five days prior to our stay. On arrival, we were informed that the newly renovated Spa and Well-being centre were not open. This was particularly disappointing as my wife was looking forward to using the spa facility. When we asked at reception as to why we were not informed (no spa facilities) at time of booking, the staff could provide no answer other than give a shrug of indifference. We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions over the past ten years, prior to the refurbishment (Hotel Ocean Manche) and we were disappointed that the hotel has lost all of its Gallic charm. The exterior of the hotel now looks like a shabby undertakers, the bathroom (in our room) had lost its bath and bidet, and was now (post-refurbishment) cramped and poorly finished. The coffee facility in the bedroom is a Nespresso machine stuck in the open plan wardrobe, there are no glasses in the room, (when we asked for a couple of glasses at reception, we were given paper cups). Though advertised, there was no available Netflix or Amazon available to view. Overall very disappointing, and I am somewhat dubious of the numerous reviews listed on the hotel website that seem to heap praise on the wonderful bed linen? Finally, despite numerous complaints to the hotel, and Original Hotels Service Quality department regarding the lack of advertised facilities during our stay, no apology has been forthcoming, other than one email from the Service Quality department apportioning blame on the Hotel Maury (no response whatsoever from the hotel).

Séjour très agréable, avec des équipes sympathiques et très attentionnées, tant à l’accueil en réception, qu’au service des chambres et au petit déjeuner. Un continuel souci d’assurer une qualité de service digne d’un établissement 4* ! Petit déjeuner savoureux et varié. Produits de qualité. Chambres confortables, salles de bains spacieuses, outre un design cosy et raffiné du lobby, des parties communes et de la salle de restauration. Localisation idéale proche du Coeur de ville, dans une grande demeure de charme.
