Hotel Vaucluse dengan Gim

We stayed 3 nights in June. We booked 2 of the new suites. One, #40, was fantastic, with it's own terrace, great view, beautiful bathroom. The other was very pretty, but was on the street level, and we found the living room to be dark and not very private. We had hoped for something lighter with a better view. The first night we dined in the Michelin starred restaurant and very much enjoyed it, the second night at Bistrot 40K and we enjoyed this too very much, even though very different. Having a glass of champagne in the bar whilst a rainstorm swept thru was memorable. My husband and I took advantage of the complimentary bikes and rode into a nearby town. We did get lost on the return and ended up on a much longer journey than anticipated. We arrived back to the hotel depleted and famished, we ordered a wonderful pasta with clams with rose to be enjoyed by the pool - heaven! I also enjoyed a fabulous massage the next day in the spa. It is a Banford spa and they also have their products in the room, in nice larger sized bottles. Another very nice detail was the complimentary music CD in the room celebrating the hotel's anniversary. We took it home and play it often and remember our lovely time in Provence.

Nous revenons d’un séjour magique du Domaine du Moulin de Villefranche. Cadre splendide et apaisant. Une décoration soignée dans les moindres détails aussi bien à l’extérieur qu’à l’intérieur. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très agréables et la literie très confortable. il y a de nombreux endroits pour se détendre (coin lecture, billard, jardin ombragé, piscine, rivière, spa..) et les hôtes sont des gens très accueillants et très à l’écoute. L’endroit est aussi idéalement situé pour profiter de la région. Nous reviendrons !

Perfect !... close to Orange where we attended a show at the Theatre Antique (Johny Haliday), which ended late, we booked this Novotel close to Orange allowing us to enjoy a one night stay , and rest, prior to take the road back to Lorgues... Staff and services perfect with the smile !

This is a country hotel in a beautiful location, but the decor is in some ways more reminiscent of a chateau - quite a lot of (rather dated) black and gold in the communal areas. The pool area is stark (no proper landscaping around it, nor even pots), and the pool itself is a liner pool (wrinkled!) rather than a proper tiled one. Our bedroom was comfortable and spacious, but the fixtures and fittings, although perfectly pleasant, lacked originality and charm. All of this would be fine but I expect a bit more when paying 800 euros a night. Our large bathroom lacked a separate shower, and the toilet was bizarrely separated from the rest of the bathroom with a glass partition which afforded no privacy so seemed entirely pointless. The lilac tiles reminscent of the 20th century were another strange, presumably cost-conscious, choice. We ate at both restaurants. The flagship Michelin star is good, but not outstanding, in our opinion, given that it is a very expensive choice - but, in fairness, we did not have the tasting menu which was probably a mistake (we just weren't hungry enough). The bistro served a memorably delicious gazpacho. On the positive side, the staff were excellent - unfailingly helpful, polite, friendly and attentive. And the breakfasts are delicious. We particularly enjoyed them, taken on the outdoor terrace enjoying the beautiful view. But beware the room you choose. Ours was above a room with its own private pool. On our third night a family with 4 children occupied it and they jumped in and out of the pool until 11.30pm and again from 7.30pm. The noise was unbelievable. And not at all what you expect at a 5 star property,

My partner and I stayed at Capelongue for our honeymoon and had the most perfect time! We were greeted with a lovely bottle of rosé champagne to kick off our romantic stay. First, the space and surroundings are absolutely breathtaking and instantly relaxing. Beyond the stunning natural landscape, the interior designers and architects truly left no stone unturned with this building. We were blown away by every little detail that made the space feel natural yet elevated. Next, the incorporation of local products, produce, and wines made us feel like we lived in the region. More than anything else, though, we felt wholly taken care of by the phenomenally kind, caring, and courteous staff members. Somehow they made sure we had everything we could possibly need without us noticing, making our lives feel joyous and easy every day. We must give a major shoutout to Marco who is an absolutely lovely person. He greeted us with kindness and made us feel like he was as happy to be there as we were. We can also not speak highly enough about Lauren, sommelier. Lauren could not be a more charismatic and lovely person to speak with, and she is trailblazing the wine industry. Her selected wine pairings for our incredible dinner at La Bastide blew us away. Her knowledge and passion for wine is unmatched. We will be back just to reconnect with her next summer! Finally, the location is fantastic if you are looking to do some exploring in the region. We visited Roussillon, Gordes, Bonnieux, Lacoste, and Lourmarin to explore their local markets and restaurants, and easily traveled to Seneca Abby to see the lavender fields. Could not recommend Capelongue more!

This hotel is a little like a present beautifully wrapped by a relative. All shiny paper and bows, but when you in fact open it you have a pair of the plain blue socks. What do I mean by that? Well, if you were to lose the beautiful and well thought out decor, the chic plant pots and the well pruned palm trees you are infact left with no more than a 3 star ( despite it being 4) practical road side hotel. That said, The reception lady was very warm and welcoming, so she deserves a mention. The rooms were ok, nothing special, clean, practical. The bar service however was terrible, you go and order a coffee/ wine etc; it comes to you eventually ( 36 mins I timed for a bottle of water) but then the cups are left all day for the wasps to gather. There is a gym, but I use the term loosely as there are no weights, just a few cardio machines. The restaurant is as popular with the locals as with the hotel goers. It is a gastronomic restaurant, so be prepared for the price tag to match, but very good. However we ate there only once for the experience. Up the road is a wonderful pizzeria with a wood fire and provence wine in half litre jugs for 6 euros so I would recommend you wander there instead. The pool was clean and warm, but ball games were not prohibited, which was causing some issues for some of the people around who were trying to get some peace. I think with this hotel, it depends how much you pay and how closely you look. I would come back because it had what I needed for a couple of nights. However, I wouldn't make it my holiday destination at all. If you look at it from a practical sense then it's fine. But if you want a bit of luxury and service for an extended time maybe look elsewhere.

Rapport qualite emplacement prix imbattable, pouvoir bénéficier en pleine saison d'une mini suite très bien équipée, climatisée, avec la praticité d'un parking intégré, quelques services à la carte, franchement je saurai m'en souvenir pour recommander Suite Home à l'avenir. Un grand merci au staff hyper efficace et dévoué.

Ignore the review replies - this hotel makes no effort to contact you to discuss feedback. Including photos so this goes to the top of their page. Coquillade Provence Resort & Spa, you’ve got a stunning location, but our honeymoon experience was riddled with issues that left us more frustrated than fulfilled—especially given the price we paid. It all started when we arrived at our honeymoon suite, expecting luxury but instead greeted by a loud, persistent noise from the air conditioning unit. It was more than just a minor annoyance; it disrupted the peace we were looking forward to. Despite multiple reports to the staff, the issue remained unresolved, leaving us with restless nights. As if that wasn’t enough, we walked into a room that had clearly been overlooked by housekeeping, with spiders and cobwebs in plain sight. The biggest disappointment, though, was the hot tub—what should have been a romantic highlight turned out to be a hornet hangout. By day two or three, we were too scared to even go near it, and it wasn’t until my wife discovered a hornet nest in the umbrella by the pool that we had any answers. For the premium price we paid, not being able to use the hot tub was a huge letdown. The issues didn’t stop there. On our last night, we were hit with a double whammy: an invasion of ants inside our suite and an infestation of snails in the yard outside. The ants went straight for the treats left out for us, and the snails took over the outdoor area, making it impossible to enjoy any aspect of our surroundings. It felt like nature was staging a full-scale assault on our honeymoon, and what made it even worse was the lack of a proactive apology or any meaningful compensation from the staff. At a resort charging these kinds of rates, this kind of service is simply unacceptable. The food, while beautifully presented, was another disappointment. The flavors didn’t match the visuals, and it left us underwhelmed. One night, our waiter completely misinterpreted our order, and though he offered to take a glass of alcohol off the bill as an apology, he then forgot to do so. This kind of oversight is something I wouldn’t expect at a budget hotel, let alone a luxury resort. It’s clear that attention to detail was sorely lacking during our stay. What’s most frustrating is thinking about the Ritz Carlton’s famous $2k rule, where staff are empowered to make things right for their guests. If Coquillade had adopted even a fraction of that mentality, our experience could have been redeemed. Instead, we were left feeling like our concerns were brushed off, with no effort made to rectify the situation. To be fair, there were some bright spots. The massage was exceptional, and the gym was well-equipped, offering a rare highlight in an otherwise frustrating stay. The room itself had the potential to be beautiful—if only it hadn

The location is spot-on - very close to the centre of town. The reception area is stylish and our receptionist was courteous and welcoming. Our room was on the 3rd floor (dogs friendly lift) and pristine. The housekeeping in this Apart'Hotel is faultless. Kitchen and bathroom areas were spotless, it was very spacious and extremely comfortable. Secure parking is available opposite at 12 Euros per 24 hours, but worth it to be so close to our room - and parking is difficult in Avignon. I would highly recommend this wonderful Apart'Hotel and look forward to returning.
