Very nice stay! Free breakfast and the room is very clean. They also upgraded my room for free. Definitely will come back next time!

Housekeeping knocked yr door every 8:30am, even though u hv put the ‘No, service’ card outside the door on the check out date. It is insane.

My wife and I recently spent three nights at the TownPlace Suites hotel in Markham, Ontario. We booked the room with our Bonvoy points, so I can’t comment on price. Markham is a suburb about 15 miles north of Toronto. We picked this location since it was near relatives we were visiting. It’s located on a fairly busy highway with various commercial businesses nearby. There is a Chinese restaurant (QJD Peking Duck), which we did not visit, on the first floor. The thirteen-story building actually holds two Marriott properties: Courtyard by Marriott on floors 2 - 8 and TownPlace on floors 9 - 14. The registration desk serves both hotels. The lobby has several areas for socializing. There also is a Bistro/Bar area. Conference rooms, a business center and a spa are off to the side. A fitness center and indoor pool are on the lower level. Wifi is free. Surprisingly, parking is not. Signs say that it costs $6 Canadian per day to park in the attached multi-level garage, but we apparently were not charged. Check-in was courteous and efficient. You need your keycard to access the elevator. TIP: There is no 13th floor; the elevator buttons go from 12 to 14! We were assigned room 915. TIP: the room was almost across the hall from the ice machine and one wall of the room directly abutted the elevator bank. While the noise was neglible, you might want to keep this in mind if you’re a very light sleeper. The room was clean and decorated in what I would call ikea style. It was like living in a studio apartment. A flat screen TV was on a two-drawer chest/dresser. A wall-mounted desk had overhead shelving, a vertical cupboard, desk chair and rollout table. The kitchen section had a sink, two-burner electric range top, coffee pot, microwave, dishwasher (!) and fairly large refrigerator. There were multiple cabinets and drawers filled with practically every kitchen item you’d need: pots, pans, dishes, flatware, soap, etc. And if they’re still something you might need, chances are you can get it from the front desk. (See pic.) A full-size closet contained an iron/ironing board. No sign of a safe. The sitting area contained a loveseat, ottoman and floor lamp. The king-size bed had five pillows. The bed was a little soft, but comfortable. It was flanked by nightstands and wall-mounted lamps with electric outlets. 
The bathroom was average-sized. The vanity had lots of counter space and several drawers. And a hair dryer. The shower was quite large, taking up about a third of the room. There was wall-mounted hand soap and hair/body wash (in the shower) by ALICE & Co+ botanicals. Shower pressure and temperature were fine. TIP: Don’t be alarmed when you flush the toilet - the sound is comparable to that generated by an airplane commode. Breakfast was included with the room and was served on the 14th floor. I stayed one night at the Element Vaughan SW and was quite impressed: Checking In/Out: Checking in only took a couple of minutes at most and the story was the same for checking out too. Staff was very friendly as well. The Room: I booked an Executive Suite (Room 522) and it was quite spacious and very clean when I got in. This suite had many things that other rooms do not (decent sized kitchen, a toaster, full size fridge, a second TV, sofa bed to name a few). Surrounding Area: Lots of food options within walking distance so you dont need to pay all those delivery fees associated with food delivery apps. McDonalds, Subway, Quesada, The Keg, Swiss Chalet, etc, etc are all a stones throw away. As well, the LCBO and Walmart are a short 2-3 minute drive away. The surrounding area is very safe. Breakfast: The breakfast rules for most hotels have changed post COVID. At Element you pick what you want and the staff put it in a bag for you and you eat in your room. Breakfast had a diverse selection, which was good. Overall, this was a good place to stay and I wouldnt mind a return trip.

The room condition was terrible I had to move out aftery first stay. They had this moldy smell and the sheet and curtain was uncomfortable.

I actually stayed at this hotel the night after my wedding with my new wife. It was really a great experience, the hotel was clean, service was good, they are complementary water. The rooms were spacious, modern with multiple TVs. Check out and check and we’re easy, seamless. Hotel breakfast is a bit pricey at $27 per person.

This hotel was very easy to book through Titanium elite services. They made the process very easy and gave us a nice upgrade. They were very helpful with accommodating with the suite that offers a small full kitchen including dishwasher, silverware, microwave, regular size fridge, kitchen sink, coffee maker Lots of living room space and tv in living-room and bedroom. Easy for parking. They have space outside for large F250 trucks since a truck won’t fit in their covered parking.

Ample parking is $5. Easy access to Main Entrance. Fast Front desk staff. Large dining area. ” Smart ” brand name towels. Full fridge, with two cook top plates. Fully equipped kitchen utensils for 3 settings of dinner plates, appetizer plates, glasses, coffee cups, and flatware. Full dishwasher for sanitizing with pod included. Hand dishwashing soap bottle with two wash clothes and a hand towel. The most comfortable Sealy Posterpedic Plush mattress Ever. Fell asleep right away with the four king size medium soft pillows. Whisper quiet Heating unit. Well appointed lights everywhere. Room 425 looks North into residential town houses. Very quiet facing away from highway 407. Ample soft towels from Bangladesh I think. 40” Panasonic T.V. has all the Cable speciality Channels possible. Full hot breakfast included. Scrambled eggs, wafer thin bacon, hot oatmeal porridge, coffee, tea, orange juice, apple juice, oranges, delicious apples, almonds and raisins to add to hot or cold cereals. Good variety of yogurt. Swam for hours in the warm 30' by 20' spacious Swimming Pool with depths of 3' to 4'5”. This is a completely separate building with adjoining hot corridor. There is Men and Women change rooms and one shower each with toilet facilities. Excellent value for complete individual living or two day stay.
