Hotel berhampiran Stade Aubert, Vaulx-en-Velin

2e séjour en qques mois. Il faut bien penser à réserver une place de parking lors de la réservation. Attention, il arrive régulièrement que le code ne fonctionne pas pour sortir du parking, il faut alors appeler directement l'hotel et leur dire. Le code fonctionne pour le parking, l'ascenseur qui mène aux chambres depuis le parking et pour l'accès à la chambre, c'est bien pratique ! Les chambres sont assez spacieuses, bien insonorisées, propres. Dommage que la fenêtre ne puisse pas s'ouvrir en oscillo-battant :-( Le personnel est agréable et souriant. Le petit déjeuner est bien fourni avec même une partie salée appréciable qui a le mérite d'être proposée (oeufs brouillés, bacon, saucisses, fromage et jambon). Il serait peut-être appréciable de rajouter un grille-pain ;-) c'est le seul point que je trouve à redire. Autour de l'hotel, plusieurs petits magasins et des points de restauration (snacks et restaurants). Idéalement situé pour accéder à la salle Radiant Bellevue et l'accès en voiture à Lyon (près de Fourvière) ne prend que qques minutes.

Mercure chain of hotels always seem to be a little way from the city centre, was a bit of a walk to the old town from hotel tram stop was right outside which was very handy. Boulangeries food places were dotted around close the the hotel so that was a bonus. The reception area was under renovation which made getting into the hotel a bit of a mission had to ring and get a code etc for the car parking. Beds very comfy which was great for a Mercure. Was generally a good choice

Um hostel novinho, bem decorado, perto de restaurantes e a 15min caminhando do Vieux Lyon. Tínhamos 2 banheiros e 2 wc no nosso quarto de 10 camas, o que facilita muito, além disso tudo bem limpo. A equipe está sempre a disposição, nos dando dicas de restaurantes e lugares a visitar. O bar / restaurante é bem decorado, com área externa e interna. Atenção: o preço do bar é um pouco elevado para um hostel, mas o ambiente é super agradável. Obrigada, equipe Pilo

Ce nouveau complexe propose des prestations haut de gamme à tous les niveaux. Chambre spacieuse avec une literie au top des standards actuels pour cette catégorie d’hôtel. La déco est vraiment très étudiée et magnifique. Le petit déjeuner est incroyable ; bref une adresse à retenir.

I called Novotel today in panic as my parents were robbed and had no cash or creditcard with them. Mathilda was professional and kind to help me book one night hotel for my parents. Thank you so much for your help and highly recommend this hotel.

We arrived at about 10pm due to problems with the cross channel ferries, but were reassured by the idea that there was 24 hour access to this hotel. Unfortunately, when we arrived we were unable to check in. The machine at the entrance was broken (someone had smashed the screen) and it was so dark that we didn't immediately see a note attached to it which gave a phone number to call instead. We were unable to get into the car park because there were two barriers with pin pads. We managed to get through both eventually when other people arrived. Once we got in, we were stuck since we couldn't leave so we had to wait for other people to come in. There was no response to our pressing the help button on the intercom and the person I spoke to on the phone was completely unhelpful. I understand that I don't speak French very well, but I try and the person speaking to me made no effort to speak more slowly so that I could understand what he was saying. He hung up on my wife. When I got a fluent french speaking friend to call, they didn't answer. Eventually, we followed a french couple into the lobby and they drew our attention to an envelope which was left on the side with the room key in it and the access codes! When we got to the room, it was tidy but stank of smoke. Overall it was extremely stressful and I feel that it should have been made clear what the arrangements were if you check in later in the evening. It would not have been difficult to send an email explaining that if you check in late, an envelope will be left on the side with the key in it etc. We have two young children and nearly continued driving to our destination as we weren't sure we could actually get into the hotel.

Hotel is voor een doorreis prima. Kamer is schoon. Ontbijt is voor het geld wat je betaald prima. Echter hadden wij via all accor geboekt waarbij ontbijt is inbegrepen voor volwassenen en kinderen, echter bij aankomst werd verteld dat dit alleen voor volwassenen zou zijn en niet voor kinderen. Vonden wij geen service. Maar door bevestiging te laten zien wel gekregen uiteindelijk. Op website all accor staat beveiligde parkeergarage gemeld maar bij aankomst kregen we te horen dat we er €9,00 per parkeerplaats voor moesten betalen en dat deze vol was. Het aantal plaatsen is zeer beperkt. In het hotel werd aangegeven dat de informatie op all accor niet altijd overeenkomt als wat er vanuit het hotel geld. Vonden wij overigens erg vreemd.
