Hotel Spa & Restaurant Cantemerle

I had a day pass "Wellness Bubble Package" and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We had a warm welcome from the reception desk and the 3 course lunch was delicious, made with fresh products. Enjoyed the sun loungers and pool access. Garden and views are absolutely breathtaking (we also had access to petanque and ping-pong with the family). My 60 minute massage was the best I ever had! Special thanks to Dany-Pierre for an amazing experience. I would highly recommend her for a massage.

This is a very nice hotel on the outskirts of Vence, but be warned, it's a 15 minute up-hill walk into the old town which we found quite exhausting, especially in the heat - we ordered a taxi to take us to the town one evening, but it cost 20 euros for the 2 km ride which we thought was excessive - this hotel hosts a lot of weddings, family parties, business seminars etc so the place can get quite lively (noisy) at times as the restaurant is outdoors by the pool, which was right next to our small secluded (dark) terrasse - not really a place to stay for a quiet relaxing time. The staff were very nice and helpful, the buildings and grounds very attractive. I was a little disappointed with our cubicle, sorry, room, as it was quite compact (narrow) with the bed up stairs on a mezzanine level - clean and reasonably comfortable but not overly luxurious - we did sleep well with the help of the excellent air conditioning. We ate once in the restaurant which was not a particularly memorable occasion and the window-less bar is not a place where you would want to spend too much time drinking the over-priced refreshments.

Great trip to our favourite hotel once again. Good food, lovely, relaxing atmosphere and great service. Had a wonderful facial from Angie which was out of this world. Would highly recommend, and will definetly do again. Vence is now on our list every time we visit France because of this hotel.

I didn’t stay here in the end. After much research and debate we found this place and thought it would be perfect. 3 months prior to our stay we tried to make a booking at restaurant. No availability for any of the evenings of our booking. At €310 a night I expect to be able to use the on site facilities. Disappointing and had to go back to the drawing board to find somewhere else.

We spent an amazing 3 days at this gorgeous little hotel , it is in the countryside so it’s incredibly quiet , just the birds singing . Breakfast is lovely and varied . If you fancy a massage I would highly recommend Fabienne x she was absolutely amazing , best massage I have ever had . Such a treat . Will definitely return

Enjoyed our stay at The Cantemerle whilst visiting the NIce area for the Rugby World Cup. Facilities are great and the duplex rooms are stunning. Food is OK, not great. Staff are particularly friendly (especially at the front desk). It is a bit of an uphill trek to reach the old town of Vence, but this provided us with most of the exercise we took during our stay! Would certainly stay here again.

The hotel grounds were beautiful, but there were several issues. The steps to our room were broken, and this is dangerous. We ate dinner therethe first night and were extremely disappointed in the taste and quality of the food. The second night the hotel restaurant was closed so we made a reservation at a restaurant in town. We were unable to confirm a ride with Uber, nor were we able to secure a taxi from the woman at the desk. We had no food as the restaurant was closed. We pleaded for something. We were given a skimpy plate of bread, cheese and ham and charged $38 for it. The hot food at the breakfast consisted of runny eggs and cold crepes in a serving tray. The coffee was not warm. The woman who checked us out first overcharged us on the bill and then corrected it with a credit for the ovecharge. She said she was confused. YOU DEFINITELY NEED TO RENT A CAR AT THIS OUT OF THE WAY PLACE.

My wife and I enjoyed two nights at the hotel Cantemerle. The property was lovely and we were able to enjoy the pools, steam room, and jacuzzi with fantastic views. The staff was very professional and very nice, too! We highly recommend the Hotel (and restaurant, too!)and are looking forward to another trip toVeance. Merci to the staff!
