We loved this hotel. Simple and elegant, excellent location, perfect for beach and city. Enjoyed melting into the sofas after a night eating and drinking with a late night spritz. Thankyou to the reception staff for tolerating my attempts to speak Italian with them. First class and we’ll done

We stayed in a beautiful, charming and old Italian style hotel, very authentic. The friendly and nice staff complete the whole package. The hotel is located right next to the water bus terminal with a wonderful view of Venice. The waterbus brings you to venice in 10-15 min. The room was clean, spacious and fully equipped. The breakfast is very varied and offers everything for every taste. Also the restaurant and the ice cream shop are highly recommended. The beach can be reached in a maximum of 10 minutes on foot, or the bus stops right in front of the hotel and takes you to every point on the lido. We'll definitely be back.

L’hotel è ben posizionato al Lido, comodo a tutto, tranquillo e in una bella villa. Qui finisce purtroppo la parte positiva della recensione. Personale presente solo al mattino, poi reception sempre deserta, si entra con un codice. La camera non sarebbe male, ma la pulizia non è granché, lenzuola strappate mai cambiate in 5 giorni, asse del water rotta e mai aggiustata (segnalata, ma pare ci volesse l’idraulico…), asciugamani di tela piuttosto scomodi. Niente bar. Ma la cosa che proprio non è all’altezza di un 3 stelle è la colazione: servita in terrazza, anche sotto la pioggia, nessun buffet, consta di un panino e una briochina piccoli, surgalati e riscaldati e gommosi, burro, marmellatine, cioccolata spalmabili di Marche sconosciute messi alla rinfusa in una ciotolina, una mela, uno yogurt, succo annacquato, bevanda calda. Abbiamo visto servire dei cereali a vicini di tavolo e quando abbiamo chiesto ci è stato risposto che loro li avevano chiesti in precedenza. Insomma avrebbe ottime potenzialità, e credo che con poca spesa si potrebbe migliorare veramente tanto. (Per esempio Per la colazione almeno un panino fresco del panettiere!).

While visiting Venice, we stayed at the Hotel Villa Edera. It was a good choice (far from the maddening crowds of Piazza S. Marco). The hotel is in a very lovely area with beautiful houses (there is a supermarket just on the street parallel to the hotel and one on the main road). There are really good restaurants along the main avenue - look out for Bar Pasticceria Garbisa if you're looking after sweet treats. Head to eitherTrattoria alla Botte or Ristorante Gran Viale for lunch or dinner. The staff at the hotel were really accommodating and went out of their way to help us with any queries. The breakfast is really delicious and there is a good choice.

Schon beim ersten Moment wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen. Jeder vom Personal und der Rezeption war sofort bereit sich um alles zu kümmern. Es gibt eine Rezeption einen Kühlschrank mit kalten Getränken aller Art und wirklich günstigen Preisen für ein Hotel. Wir hatten einen sehr schönes Zimmer mit einem kleinen Garten wo die Hunde auch raus konnten und wir natürlich in Ruhe rauchen. Das Frühstücksbuffet natürlich typisch italienisch aber sehr abwechslungsreich. Für mich persönlich sehr wichtig der Kaffeevollautomat wird wirklich leckerem Kaffee. Das Bad mit einem quasi Duschklo ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die nicht funktionierende Klimaanlage wurde sofort in Gang gesetzt nachdem wir das reklamiert haben.

The hotel is perfectly placed if you want the beach as it is opposite a fabulous public/free beach but with the option to purchase umbrellas, food, drinks etc if you want. You have a view of the beach/sea at breakfast. Also the roof terrace has sea views one way and sunset views the other which is fab! Claudio who serves at the roof terrace is an absolute joy. Reception is 24hours and staff were friendly and helpful. It's a 20 minute walk to the waterbus stop which takes you to Venice, Murano etc but the walk to the stop is alongside the sea or the Venice lagoon so is pretty special. We bought a weekly ticket for the waterbus to Venice etc at 65€ each which we thought worked out to be good value. There is a fabulous pool area nearby and 'pay for' beach which is pricey but we thought pretty good value at 12€ each for a sunbed without an umbrella at the pool or 48€ for two with padded sunbed, umbrella and table. There's a nice snack bar so you can stay all day. If you want the 'best of both worlds' Lido is ideal. We loved the calm after a busy morning exploring and sightseeing and an afternoon on the beach or by the pool was perfect for us. At first I was disappointed there were shutters at the windows and no view but it got very hot so I was glad of the air con and shutters on returning from sightseeing. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. If you want sea views pay the extra. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet with lots of choice. Overall we were very happy with our stay. Tips: sit on a bench and watch the sun set over Venice/Venice lagoon. Visit Claudio on the roof terrace and enjoy a drink (and snacks) with a view.
