Clean and easy

I'll start with the positive: the breakfast was tasty and and the options plentiful. The woman managing the breakfast area was helpful and pleasant. She took the time to fill my water bottle with ice and apologized to guests when she ran our of biscuits. The room, however was not so pleasant. The bed was clean and comfortable but two of the 3 lamps in the room had problems. One did not have a bulb and the other had a bulb that didn't work. Housekeeping was sent to fix the issues but only managed to bring one bulb which fixed only one lamp. There was mold near the door and several other spots that needed cleaning or painting (see photos). And the window shutters do not sufficiently keep out the light from the outside so the room is not dark enough at night. The air conditioner was also a problem. No matter how high we set the temperature, even with the fan on low, the air was blowing at full speed which made it uncomfortable to sit on the couch. When we turned off the a/c, the room quickly got too warm. And when we came back to our room after breakfast, our keys did not work. We had to run back to the front desk for replacements. And the Inn does not have an elevator. Fortunately we did not have a lot of luggage to haul up a flight of stairs. We would not stay there again.

Great hotel for the night! My wife and I were visiting her family with our newborn, who was on her first big trip. We got in late and Enrique was awesome! Took care of everything we needed and was able to give some food options nearby. Breakfast and morning workers were equally as awesome and we're super understanding with us needing extra things for a newborn. Definitely will be staying there again when we visit the in laws again

Nice accommodations with a full kitchen

I have stayed at this property 10 times since Jan 2023. I was traveling tow work each time. During this work assignment my company booked me at this hotel the most. I did stay at a few other hotels in the area during this time as well. I will say the hotel staff is very accommodating and friendly. They did a great job. The property is just off I 95 to the immediate west. Getting to the property you have to drive into the Vero Beach outlet mall driveway and then make a left turn. It shares a road with Cracker Barrel restaurant as well. Very convenient and the closest walkable hotel to the Outlet mall. The hotel is above standards good clean rooms ( I recommend the second or third floor) comfortable beds good room amenities microwave, coffee ,maker , mini fridge. Room was always clean and in working order. Buffet Breakfast at the hotel was excellent - Eggs every day, biscuits and gravy, some kind of breakfast meat ( bacon, sausage) pancakes, sweet rolls, yogurt, fruit, cereal, breads muffins bagels. I would say breakfast here is in the top two for the hotels off I 95 in Vero Beach. Hotel also has a pool and exercise room. I really felt very comfortable during my many nights here. I possibly may need to lodge in Vero again in tue coming months again on occasion and I would for sure return here. I haven't stayed at the redone Surestay Best Western Hotel and it appears that I won't because they are not pet friendly. Their room rates are double of what we paid before and we always had great service, food, and accommodations when the hotel was Country Inn and Suites. We come from down south and go up to Vero Beach because it is so much fun. We love it in Vero. We always have a wonderful time. We bring two of our dogs to enjoy the experience with us and that was the best part of the trip in that we were able to stay with them at the hotel. So never again since this hotel is not pet friendly. We will just have to take our business elsewhere. I am very disappointed in this change.
