Hotel berhampiran Euromania, Verona

This is an apartment with 4 separate rooms in a building just 2 minutes from Arena di Verona. The room has all amenities for comfortable stay. Though there is no breakfast but there is a coffee machine, a kettle, a microwave, coffee capsules, tea bags. So you can make your own breakfast. And the PAM supermarket is right at the entrance to the territory where the building is located. The check-in is effected without the need for the owner to be present. The codes for access are provided and in the room there is a set of keys. And Antonio also provides an access via your cellular. Antonio is a very caring host, doing his best for his guests. I greatly enjoyed my stay there and next time when I come to Verona I will definitely stay there. Antonio grazie mille!

This B&B has a great location just a few steps from Piazza Bra and this is also the best reason to stay here. The street itself where the hotel is located feels a bit dark and run down though. The rooms are spacious but sp****ly furnished. A breakfast is provided but due to covid-restrictions only provided at a small table. Some youghurt but mostly sweets. There is no toilet in the rooms but they are outside, although private. I have seen many positive reviews before this one commenting the manager and I can somewhat agree. Our experience is both positive and negative. Please be aware that you have to organize check-in with the owner beforehand. There is no sign to show this B&B and it has no reception.

I felt very comfortable with my room and the equipments provided. Although there are not many amenities nearby, the hotel staffs were very friendly and approachable. There are many good choices for breakfast. One of the best hotels I have been so far.

The hotel was a good 20 minutes on a bus from the outskirts of Verona. The parking is not free you have to pay €10 a day to park in their underground car park. The room was dirty near the bed an inch thick along one wall. The bathroom had black mould round the edges and up the tiles., also the shower head was black. There was an inch wide full length of the bath piece of tape stuck to the bottom of the bath with mould growing on the whole length. Four beds in our room left very little room to walk. The bed that we slept in was supposed to be a double but there was a huge ridge in the middle as the two beds which were pushed together were different heights. There was another single bed at the side and one at the bottom. When I asked to change rooms they said they were full up, and the staff were not helpful. The carpet in the corridor was absolutely filthy, it had been beautiful in its day but that must have been 50 years ago. The curtains were hanging down off their hooks and were not connected to the rods to pull or push.

Great position for bus into town , good breakfast, nice coffee, bedrooms big beads cool with air con . Helpful staff, reasonable price 15 mins to town on bus 7 mins to bus and train station 2 euro about 12-15 in taxi all good easy check in. Ask about local pool platys centre great for cooling off 5 star facility for a swim as hotel has no pool. I slept well bed was fine huge

Ottimo hotel in cui soggiornare. Alcuni bagni in camera della struttura, necessitano di manutenzione, perché il lavandino scaricava male questo giro e la doccia aveva poca pressione. Colazione buona ma tavoli disposti male perché troppo vicini, da migliorare.

We enjoyed a great week staying at the Saccardi spa hotel. The whole staff are definitely one of the hotel's greatest assets. The hotel is next to a duel carriageway, (but to be honest that did not disturb us at all) and on the other side of this was the airport, literally a 10 minute drive (again we were not disturbed by airport noise). We had booked this hotel through Jet2 City breaks and although Jet2 didn't supply transfers, the hotel did their own pick up and drop off during daytime hours. As stated in other reviews, the hotel is not much to look at from the outside, but inside it is open, airy and the rooms are spotlessly clean, if a little dated in their decor. There was air conditioning in room and a fridge with complementary water. For us Brits, I must admit I did miss the usual complementary kettle, coffee and tea in the room, so if you like a cuppa that you don't have to buy, take your own travel kettle! The only other point I would make is that there was only one available socket in the room, with technology what it is these days, rooms could benefit from at least an extra one, or the availability of multi adapters. As per other reviews, we were able to make use of the shuttle bus service provided free of charge into Verona City or Train Station, however as already mentioned these are available at certain times of the day (9am, 12, 4pm into Verona and 12.20, 16.20, 18.20 and 19.20 back) and can only accommodate 8 passengers at a time, so it is imperative that guests plan ahead and book as soon as possible at reception, as they get filled quickly. I will add that when we were there, extra journeys in and back to Verona were added on some days, I guess when demand was high and staff were available. (we wouldn't have minded paying a nominal fee for this service, perhaps this could be a way of allowing them to be more frequent)? The cost of a taxi into Verona was 25euros each way. Breakfast was lovely with a choice of cereals, fruit, yogurt, continental ham and cheese selection, bacon and scrambled eggs, boiled eggs and pastries each day. The waiting staff are excellent, pleasant and accommodating and they make the best coffee! Dinner menu is a la carte and the choice is of good local dishes, with wine selections on offer being vast. Staff have great knowledge of local produce and wines. It would perhaps have been nice if there was an alternative evening meal available, perhaps the pool menu could be extended to include the evening service, as a la carte did get a little expensive over 7 nights. We used the spa on several occasions and it was never too busy. Again this was kept spotlessly clean. We even ventured into the outdoor pool on a hot sunny day, much I think to the amusement of staff, as they said the pool was open for guests, but it was cold! Me and a friend stayed here for a ten day holiday, travelling around Northern Italy. We were very pleased with the hotel itself, staff were pleasant and polite, also talkative despite our language barriers. Reception greeted us and got our room sorted quickly after arrival. Our double room was spotless when we arrived, and facilities were just as described. The cleaning staff were brilliant and efficient aswell. The breakfast was great, catering to everyone (cakes, sweets and pastries, savouries, fruits and cereals- all with accompaniments). The location was perfect, it is straight across from a large supermarket and a McDonalds. It’s also only a 15 minute walk to the train station, which links you to the bigger cities. The only thing that wasn’t up to our expectation was the A/C and the “sound proof” rooms, as we could hear conversations in the rooms either side of us, as well as kids running around the hallways, giggling at night time. That didn’t take much toll on us, and we still had a brilliant stay. Thanks to the staff for our stay, and we would recommend for an easy getaway :)

easy online checkin. No staff after midnight but all is possible with a downloadable smart-phone-installed key. Very simple, very easy. In the morning, we were greeted by friendly staff and even though breakfast was not included in our price we still got a little take-away cake as a gift.
