Nice place. I met a receptionist called Erika and OMG, such a great person she is. Her personality is exceptional. She helped me with the check-in and even when I didn’t know how the lights worked, she walked me through it. Also the good part, she helped me sooo much in pulling off a birthday surprise for my fiancé. She was very friendly and welcoming to both of us. Also, for an Italian to also speak such good english made communication soo much easier. I will definitely come back to this Hotel and please I need Erika at the reception 😌 Last but not least I am traveller and she’s the best receptionist I’ve met in my entire life of travelling and lodging in Hotels. Wonderful stay. Very clean, friendly and polite staff, perfect breakfast. Very easy to access to the train station and city centre. Will definitely come again if back to Verona. Would be better to add a kettle to the room

Tutto quello che ci aspettavamo. Ottima colazione. Leggermente fuori mano. Il parcheggio è cittadino e viene usato anche dai clienti del supermercato. Quindi se avete bisogno di un parcheggio c'è quello custodito dell' hotel a pagamento

cute place in the middle of the old town verona very accessible to all the restaurants bars and shopping streets and the rooms was very spacious only three minutes away from juliettes house

We had the extreme pleasure of staying at the Hotel Giberti as our hotel of choice for the Verona opera. Having been touring Italy with a large classic Rolls Royce, we needed a hotel with parking. Antonella could not have been more accommodating understanding the restrictions that come with a long bodied 1931 car and my concerns it might not make the garage ramp turns. So presto she arranged for a parking spot in the employee lot where the car was greeted with all the care and attention we were given as guests on check in. The hotel is perfectly located for the gated historic centre within minutes to the arena on foot. Our double room was spotless, delightfully decorated with wallpaper in homage to the nearby arena arches, and a welcome powerful hot shower awaited us. On departure staff gathered to say goodbye and received our heartfelt thanks. We took a photo to record the visit in fact. I highly recommend the Hotel Giberti for the charm and friendliness of the staff, the excellent location and the memorable gelato nearby at La Romana!

I was skeptical reading previous reviews but decided to give it a try for one night during my business trip as I’m an IHG member. Having experienced staying at 5 different hotels in this city — most of them within walking distance on Corso Porta Nuova (main street leading from the train station to many main attractions) — I can say that Indigo was among one of my top 2 choices. The room I stayed in was tastefully decorated — the headboard of the bed immediately attracted attention, striking but elegant, with paintings seemingly telling romantic tales of the city’s history; open wardrobe was clever as it made the room seem spacious while leaving plenty of space for hanging clothes and jackets especially on a rainy day. The balcony was a super nice touch and was my favorite to come back to in the evening with a view of charming Verona at night watching people and cars passing by. Two chairs, a coffee table with blankets and a little bit of floral decorations. I spent a fair bit of time despite the cold and rain, soaking in the beautiful images which were among the most special memories I’d carry with me from this trip. Check-in was super efficient. Anna at the reception was an absolute joy to meet and interact with. She’s super kind, thoughtful and professional in helping me with storing my suitcase as I was in a rush to catch my train to a nearby city on a rainy day; she gave clear, accurate info helping me to go to the train station within 10mins; and on the next day, kindly offered recommendations for cafes. Her passion and enthusiasm and friendliness is above and beyond many of her peers. Her genuine smile stands out from others who might be just trying to get their job done. You can tell Anna is truly exceptional and a wonderful ambassador for Hotel Indigo. Keep up the good work! Breakfast service was super efficient, friendly, attentive. The professional and thoughtful gentleman offered multiple times coffee, tea, orange juice, etc, making sure each guest had everything needed for a good start of the day, quickly clearing dishes while guests stepped away - perfectly seamless. Truly outstanding attention to details. The restaurant offered a good variety of food choices: raw veggies are rare in hotel breakfast buffet but here they did so that was a plus in my book. Fresh fruits, muesli, (no sugar-added) yogurt and scrambled eggs were my go-to. Although I didn’t eat pastries or bread or drink Prosecco for breakfast, if that’s something you like then you’d be pleased to know they offered plenty to satisfy different tastes. The only thing that prevented Indigo from making my No. 1 choice in Verona was the shower. I requested specifically for a shower because from the photos shared by other travelers and reviews many commented that the bath look dated and needed update. I personally do not take baths in hotels so having a new, good water pressure shower with fast efficient drain would be way more important. They did honor my request with a standup shower corner stall. However, the square-shaped shower stall area was so small that my elbows (I’m petite size female) kept knocking on the glass doors. I believe they’re scheduled for major renovation in Jan-Feb 2024 so it’d be interesting to see if they remodel the bathrooms and showers.

I'm sorry to have to leave a negative review for the hotel in question and in particular for the front manager Cristina Bianconi. I booked a room for my holidays with breakfast included and the flexibility to change the date in case of unforeseen events (cancellation was not included). Unfortunately, my flight was changed and as soon as I found out, I immediately called the hotel to ask if it was possible to change the date by just one day (stay on Wednesday instead of Thursday). Unfortunately, the front manager refused to make any changes to my reservation, except by paying an additional 100 euros, despite the availability for a date change being assured on the website. Additionally, there was a double room available at the same price on the Booking site. Her lack of willingness to help and the lack of effort in finding a suitable solution caused me not only great disappointment and inconvenience but also many problems. I was very disappointed by the unprofessional and unwelcoming behaviour of the front manager Cristina and the negative and uncooperative approach of the hotel as a whole. I was also unable to speak with anyone else despite my requests. I strongly advise against booking at this hotel for anyone looking for quality customer service and professional reservation management.

Very good hotel and staff.. Also very close location to all.. Is suitable for his money paid for ＞＞ breakfast was very rich and clean , room clean10 , facilities 10/10 , mini bar low price , and she get us for chick in early 2 hr , bus stop near the location 10mtr

This is just a review to say thank you so so much to the lovely man who was on reception duty on the night of the Mon 11th. We had an awful experiance with the buses, and he helped us get home, and called us a taxi. So incredibly grateful, and he didn’t even think twice. We didn’t even stay here, but if the staff if like this man - I can only sing this hotels praises. So sorry we didn’t get his name and had no cash tip, to show out appreciation - but just wanted to acknowledge his kindness. Thank you again:)
