Comfortable stay near Versailles The room is a bit tiny but it’s clean and tidy. The front desk is super friendly and helpful as well:) Would recommend to stay here.

We visited just for the weekend and what an amazing time it was. The staff on reception were professional and welcoming, speaking a number of different languages, including English, as did all the staff we encountered during our stay. I was so thankful for this as I saw one of the reviews which stated an expectation to speak French, this was simply not the case for us. We had a fabulous spacious 4th floor room on the park side with a small balcony. The bed was by far the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in so far and the slippers provided, a much better quality that those in other hotels and we have been to a fair few. The bathroom was great, but just a word of caution if having a soak in the tub as it’s very prone to slipping due to the shape. A rubber mat for inside the bath is provided for you to use. Breakfast was a buffet only (no menu) and was very limited, although you can order a number of different egg dishes. There was just one chef and a bit of a queue. I don’t think this was unusual as there was a polite notice asking guests to come back once they have placed their order, which I did and maybe I shouldn’t have as it seemed that my order was then put on the back burner. I know this as I saw countless others guest getting their orders in and receiving their dishes before me. It’s only when I approached the station that the chef then went to get my order. The eggs Benedict received was ok but very close to being hard boiled and I prefer a runny yolk. The breakfast experience overall was ok, with staff being very polite when you asked them something, but this could have been better by them checking in to see if we had everything we needed, e.g. more coffee. I always think when it comes to hotels and indeed in life that ‘you don’t know what you don’t know’ and so far this year we’ve had exceptional service at breakfast from the Westin Palace Madrid and a truly amazing buffet with options to order extra dishes at the Ritz Carlton in Vienna, both of which renewed my faith in the hotel breakfast experience, so I know more can be done here at this hotel. We didn’t swim in the pool but it was a good size. The gym was amazing if you like like to keep your exercise up whilst away and the staff were very friendly. A tip for guests wanting to visit Versailles Palace & gardens, get you tickets from the concierge if you haven’t booked in advance. Indeed we hadn’t booked in advance and there were no tickets on the website when looked, so we were so relieved when we asked the concierge about this. One of the highlights of our stay has to be the view from our balcony at night of the Bastille fireworks, this was simply outstanding and totally unexpected, an experience which we aim to replicate next year and will return. Rented a suite and there's not even a closet to store your clothes. There is just 4 poor hangers for hanging shirts and dresses. In order to get an iron and an iron board, I had to go down to the front desk since nobody was answering the phone… Right in the middle of the shower, the water becomes suddenly boiling hot. Thinking the mixer was broken, I tried the water in the sink and I had the same issue: just no cold water at all anymore. Of course, this happens right in the middle of the shower. Called the front desk, but nobody was answering, while it was just late afternoon. The problem happened again the day after. The day of the departure, I left around 4.30am in order to go to the airport, and the garage door didn't open. There is no button to call the front desk, therefore I had to leave my car on the ramp and go walk to the front desk in order to ask for the door to be opened. The front desk man said ”oh, I though it would open by itself…” Coming back from the ride around 6am, I tried to call the front desk to get a taxi booking, but nobody answered the phone. I went down in the lobby and the hotel was literally empty. I went back to my room, tried again to call and after 10 minutes somebody picked-up the phone. I told him ”if you're asked by the taxi company where am I going, just tell them destination ABC”. To which he replied ”oh, you can tell the driver yourself when they will ask”. Clearly not listening. The day before leaving, I went to the bar for a dinner since there restaurant was closed… I ordered some food that was brought to me in a pot that was being opened right in front of me and just put in the plate. Just like that, in the pot with the branding and the list of ingredients… I ordered a cold cut plate and it was clearly not fresh at all: the camp was as hard as skin and discolored on the sides, the sauces were discolored as well, the cheese slices were glued one to another. The service is given to kids who have no sense of class or refinement, and they're not even shaved. The lamp that goes from the bar to the outside (which is located inside the bar) is covered with a massive spider net from. As compensation for the cold cut board, I was given a bottle of cheap Bordeaux.

Very average with elements that need to be worked on. Given that many people stay here on business for HEC, odd that each room does not have its own ironing board. You have to check it out at the front desk and carry it back when you are done. I have never seen this in a mainstream chain hotel. I also had Privacy on my door the whole time but they came in anyway to clean up, so it must be mandatory after a few days.

J’ai l’occasion de résider durant deux mois dans cet hôtel et faire au minimum au moins 10 chambres. Je pense que mon avis compte beaucoup, je vous déconseille toutes les Chambre du côté de l’accueil, un bruit de VMC et de frigo horrible. Et de voisinage, Je n’ai pas du tout bien dormi. Durant mon séjour. J’ai trouvé un papier collé sur ma porte en m’expliquant que je devais changer de chambre en plein milieu de mon séjour avec des explications abusifs des responsables de l’hôtel et aucune compensation car ils avaient loué la chambre à quelqu’un d’autre. La responsable de l’hôtel m’ont carrément dit s’il souhaitait, ils pouvaient retirer mes affaires de la chambre eux-mêmes, ce qui je pense est interdit question Securite bien fermer les fenêtres car certains volets roulants ne fonctionnent pas. Tout le monde peut accéder à l’hôtel. C’est un vrai moulin. Éviter la chambre handicapée une odeur insoutenable qui imbibe toutes les 2 chambres.

The Jardin de Saint Cloud exceeded expectations! When booking, I had read reviews complaining that it was far from Central Paris, which it true- its in Saint Cloud. So if that is a concern it may not be a fit. However, it was perfect for us! We were visiting friends in Saint Cloud. The Jardin allowed us to take public transit into Central Paris. It is across the street from the T2, a shot walk to one of the M lines, and a VERY steep walk to the L. We easily got to our activities in the city each morning and returned each afternoon in time to visit with our friends for the evening. The rooms were clean and far more spacious than I anticipated (we did book a suite). The pool was great for my 9 year old and breakfast was enjoyable. The staff was friendly and helpful! If we are lucky enough to return to France to visit our friends again, we will 100% book here again!

We, 2 adults, 2 kids, booked one night just for an overnight stay on our way back. The location is conveniently located off the highways (appr 15 min) in a green lush area of the university of Saclay. Check in was quick and the receptionist very welcoming in French or English. Our appt room had a separate living room with a double bed and in the living/kitchen room another large couch/double/bed. The appt was clean and pretty spacious. The surroundings are nice, clean and safe like in the country side but very close to Paris (45 min by RER). Places for dinner are in close proximity albeit you would need a car.

The cabin room was actually pretty small & tight to start with. It actually is a 4 bed dormitory divided into 4 cabins (made of wood). There isn't enough space in the room because it's literally just the bed. So you can easily hear what the other person is playing on the mobile. Moreover, the breakfast is pretty basic. The staff at the reception was very helpful, I requested for a late checkout and they helped me.

Excellent business hotel. Room size was excellent, with everything you need. Like many places nowadays, there is a coffee pod machine - I can never understand why these machines are not left full of water and switched on - i.e. ready to use. They are all the same - black and chrome, and easy enough to use when you know, but nigh-on impossible to work out how to use them when you've never seen them before, and the black switch on the black background is at the back of a black machine in a dark moodily-lit room on a black shelf. The best thing about the room was the view - a huge picture window looking south towards the centre of Paris with Montmatre and the Eiffel Tower in view. That's the advantage of a room on the 6th floor - colleagues on the lower floors didn't have the same view of course. The breakfast was great - everything needed. Overall I'd be happy to stay here again.
