Hotel berhampiran Sithara Homes, Veyangoda

Our last day in Sri Lanka and we thought it would be a waste of precious time to stay in a hotel all day !! Absolutely not ! From our welcome, attentive and informative staff, Kapila was particularly brilliant as he helped navigate through a superior menu which included the best Cerviche we've ever eaten, so again at lunch it was ! A wonderful Spa experience followed by a stroll round the gardens, up through the veggie garden and met the three long eared goats Garden and interior design, plus interesting artwork, was a visual delight. I stayed one night before I flew out from Sri Lanka. The room was clean and had good air con. Wifi was strong. I had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The price of my meals and beer was very good and the food tasty. I was well looked after and had a good chat about cricket and Shane Warne. For a very small fee i was able to organise late check out (8.00 pm) The drop-off at the airport was included in the price of the stay. This place was excellent value for money.

在這裏住了一週，我想我真的很喜歡這個酒店。因為是對比了攜程和booking後下的決定。管家Saman人很好，我第一晚到的時候是深夜，衹需要聯繫他，他會開Tuktuk車來大門口幫我拿行李。他們也會在乎住客的動向，深夜會提醒我注意安全。房間非常乾淨，提供開水壺和礦泉水，空調製冷也很好。房間沒有提到有熱水，實際上熱水也有提供，但是可能需要自帶拖鞋和牙膏牙刷。再有就是這更像一個私人花園，雖然偶爾有飛機飛過的聲音，但是大部分時候都非常安靜。尤其是他們已經嘗試在裝載wifi了。而且酒店自備廚房，如果要使用也可以諮詢管家。英語溝通比較重要，但是有翻譯器估計問題不大。向大家推薦這家酒店。

This place is excellent for a stay. Especially if coming to or from the international airport. Our welcome was friendly and efficient. The room is excellent, pristine and equipped for all that is needed for our overnight stay. The bed is also very comfortable. Breakfast was brought to the room however I chose to have this at the small table and chairs outside of the room on a small terrace. A perfect place for this. The breakfast is more than adequate, also caters for me as a vegetarian. I asked for a knock at my door to be woken up in case I had slept thrmy alarm and this was given. Such a delightful place to stay. A small courtyard garden with a static table and seats if wanted. Garden lights during the evening make this a pretty area to relax. Tea, coffee and water are available in the room. There was air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The accommodation is located down a side road from the main road. This means it’s nice and quiet. For dinner we decided to walk jumping a few metres to another hotel which served food. However, Faith Hotel do have menus for which to order food which would be delivered if required. Alternatively, we were offered an option of being taken to another place if we wished. We had booked for 2 separate airport transfers as we were travelling on separately to different places. This was organised by and with the owner dropping us all in good time. I noted while at the stay, information regarding trips to places and even tours can be organised. Additionally there is information on an Ayurveda treatments option at a place called Ayurveda Villa which really looked good. This had different packages with a stay including food consultation with an Ayurvedic doctor to decide on the relevant treatments for your package. To use up our rupees we were able to pay part cash, part card which was so convenient. This couple really do offer everything in a stay at Airport Faith Hotel. They are passionate about what they do, are committed to making your stay the best. They have everything available or on hand and can’t do enough to make your stay a happy and good one. I highly recommend a stay here.

The diver was very patient as we were delayed. Te front desk manager Anthony was extremely friendly and helpful!

Ziegler Cottage was our comfortable home for a few days while we visited Negombo. It is easy to reach from the airport, and you can take tuk-tuks or the bus into Negombo. Our room had a sea view and a balcony with sea breezes making airconditioning unnecessary. The waves were too high for us to swim in the sea but the pool made up for it. Food, especially the fruit selection at breakfast, was very good. Staff were responsive and very hard-working. The hotel can organize trips--our all-day outing to a spice plantation, the Ridee Viharaya Temple, and the elephant park was perfect. Everyone goes out of their way to accommodate your needs. The hotel owner drove us to our destination when our ride did not show up. Thank you for a memorable stay! we look forward to returning.

We stayed here for 2 nights before our flight out of Colombo . We could have stayed longer - such a cute little place! It’s very homey with comfortable little spots to relax and enjoy. There is also a little pool which looked very inviting. The rooms are basic and have all you need and are very clean and comfortable. We had a room overlooking the canal. It was very beautiful - the water was a little brown due to the high rains they had been having. It was still lovely and we even saw a very large monitor lizard as we were sitting on the balcony sipping a coffee! The best about this place is the owners. They are lovely people who rescue any cats and dogs that need rescuing. They get no monetary help at all but do this all on their own. They currently have 18 cats!! Yes 18!! But if you are not a cat lover dont worry they keep them in a separate area when there are guests. There are so many stay animals that need help and the fact that these 2 will take and help any that need it makes them absolute hero’s. Make your booking here - its cute and very central to the beach AND the owners are awesome and rescue cats and dogs - doesn’t get better than that!
