Considering the price we paid for this hotel I find it was really poor. Room overlooked the main road and I couldn’t sleep because of the noisy cars. Balcony door really difficult to open not easy at all. Mattresses were terrible needs changing. Breakfast could have been better also.

A wonderful stay at the Hotel Present in Viareggio on the Tuscany coast: We recently enjoyed a wonderful holiday to the lively resort of Viareggio on the Tuscany coast. We chose this resort as we wanted to have the best of both worlds - time to relax and time to explore some of the beautiful towns & cities in the region at an affordable price. Viareggio is perfectly placed to do all of this. We stayed at the Hotel President & are planning to return next year as we found the hotel to be perfect for our needs & so comfortable. The staff were so helpful and special mention must be made to the following: Nadim, Elisa, Matilda, Franco & Laila. The breakfast was excellent with buffet choices, as well as a la carte selections. We also enjoyed an evening meal in the restaurant with excellent food and faultless service. The bar was a lovely setting for an aperitif or after dinner drinks and the service was nothing short of excellent! Restaurant and bar prices are very good compared to other hotels we have stayed in during our visits to Italy. We booked a room with a balcony overlooking the seafront after reading other reviews and were so glad we made the decision! To be able to see the beach and promenade starting to come to life in the mornings, as well as the street market setting up on Thursday was wonderful. The room is itself was cleaned daily and fresh towels and bed linen were provided regularly. We were able to visit Lucca, Pisa, Florence and Montecatini using the local train service and a visit to the upmarket resort of Forte dei Marmi was made using the local bus, with a stroll around the fashion market whilst we were there. We will be back!

I was very impressed with the friendliness of the hotel staff. From the reception staff especially Julien, also in- house service and waiting staff. Extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of breakfast options to cater for everyone’s palette. Our room was beautiful with an amazing view of the beach. The toiletries were also of great quality. Thank you to everyone who made our stay very memorable. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Viareggio.

PPengguna TetamuWe stayed for a week and found the hotel and restaurant to exceed our expectations. The hotel is ideally located near the beach and a beautiful park nearby. It is also in walking distance to the train station for visiting Pisa Lucca Florence etc. Our room in the hotel was pleasant and cleaned daily to a high standard. We also enjoyed the restaurant inside and eating on the patio area outside. The food was outstanding with great choices. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful with a special mention to Alex who looked after us. We would love to visit Viareggio and this wonderful hotel again soon

PPengguna TetamuSiamo stati per un fine settimana di svago all'Hotel San Francisco a VIareggio, trovato ” al volo ” il posto in Rete, e devo dire che è stata una bellissima vacanza. Le stanze sono da poco state rimodernate, molto belle, insonorizzazione completa,tutto l'arredamento molto moderno e funzionale, il frigobar, gli accessori per la doccia, le ciabattine in omaggio, la televisione perfettamente funzionante, ( a volte, in altre location ne ho trovate di alcune che ci ho dovuto passare del tempo solo a farle rifunzionare, ma si parla di ”deformazione professionale” :) ) e la cortesia e la cura per il cliente mi hanno fatto inserire l'albergo fra i preferiti quando torneremo in quella città. Poi magari la stanza in particolare, con il balconcino proprio davanti alla passeggiata ed al mare, e ( cosa da sottolineare) la colazione sulla terrazza panoramica proprio di fronte al mare hanno reso il nostro soggiorno un qualcosa da ricordare. Lo consiglio caldamente, anche alla reception si sono fatti in quattro per darci informazioni e per suggerirci il parcheggio giornaliero, altresì avrei speso il doppio a farlo ” normale”. Davvero un bellissimo Hotel.

PPengguna Tetamusono stata durante la settimana del carnevale ,con mia figlia e il mio cagnolino, ho trovato questo Hotel libero e non ho esitato a prenotare, devo dire che ha ampiamente soddisfatto le mie aspettative, posizione eccellente a 200 mt dalla passeggiata dove si svolgeva il carnevale , stanza grande e ottima pulizia, il personale della reception gentilissimo e preparato e non dimentico le super colazioni preparate da Maria con gentilezza e cortesia, lo consiglio vivamente e credo che al prossimo Carnevale non esiterò a prenotare. Complimenti a tutto lo staff
