The location is excellent very close to the metro station. The breakfast is western style though not so suitable for East Asians.

The room was very spacious. The window offered a beautiful view of a church in the distance.

Concierge staff are amazing, warmly welcomed late at night on 20 Jul by the manager(?) who immediately offered water and brought our luggages up with us to give us a room tour although it was late at night. Check out was very pleasant as well - kept luggage in the hotel and upon return Dali approached to ask if he could help with anything - brought us our luggage, water and an extension cable so we could relax and charge our devices Amazing stay, love the SO/ franchise

We booked this hotel because of the breakfast at the rooftop restaurant. However no information was showed at trip.com or the hotel website during booking (3 weeks before the trip) the restaurant is undergoing renovation. The breakfast was relocated to the 4th floor with no view. It also changed to semi buffet which you need to order the main course. It is extremely disappointing! Most of the places of the restaurant has been blocked for renovation, just having 5-6 tables for drink during night time. If we know it before, we would not book the hotel. The cost of the hotel is more expensive than other five stars and the premium is mainly due to the breakfast experience at the rooftop. It was so disappointed the booking website and hotel website did not mention it. Also, we were there during World Cup and it was surprised none of any places such as the rooftop bar during night time nor the lobby lounge has any TV showing the game! Can’t expected a so called five stars stylish hotel from Accor group missing this world event. Many others commented the room and it is true that room true to have some design but ending up not so convenient to travellers. Anyway will not stay this again as there are a lot of better options in Vienna for this price.

Excellent service, the minibar is free, and the location is superb for getting around. The subway is just a 200-meter walk away. Vienna is beautiful, I highly recommend staying here!

The hotel upgraded me for free on the day of arrival, and the view was even better. The room was spacious with modern and minimalist decor, and it directly faced the river and cathedral. The mini-bar provided three free bottles of water (still and sparkling), three fruit-flavored drinks, a bag of organic chips, and a chocolate bar daily. The Nespresso machine was clean and worked perfectly, and they even had decaf coffee pods. The hotel's 18th-floor restaurant, with its floor-to-ceiling windows, is very popular and requires advance reservations. If your room includes breakfast, it's a great experience, as you can order freshly prepared dishes from a menu. Our local guide mentioned that this hotel is quite popular. The design is very distinctive, and those who appreciate it will absolutely love it. However, some design elements felt a bit over the top; for instance, the sink splattered water easily, and the shower couldn't be fully enclosed, which was uncomfortable. It seems practical considerations were overlooked in favor of design. The hotel's most commendable aspects are the room and breakfast views – simply put, they're unbeatable, especially at sunset and sunrise. These views alone make it worthwhile; just relaxing in the room and gazing out was incredibly enjoyable.

I really enjoyed my stay at SO/Vienna. The room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. The included minibar was great —well-stocked with high-quality snacks and drinks. I have the cathedral view room, enjoyed very minute. Most importantly, the staff were exceptional. Joebelle made both check-in and check-out seamless and genuinely pleasant. The gentleman who assisted with my luggage was equally impressive—warm, attentive, and professional. The level of hospitality throughout the hotel was outstanding. I highly recommend SO/Vienna. And of course, Das Loft offers one of the most breathtaking views of the city—an absolute highlight of the stay.

Stayed at a designer hotel with friends, the breakfast was great and the room decor was simple yet stylish.

Extremely close to popular attractions. The service attitude is excellent, and the hotel facilities are also fantastic. Highly recommended! There's a great bar on the hotel's rooftop where you can enjoy the view with a drink.

Facilities: The hotel is quite close to the city center, near all the major attractions. There's a free spa but no pool, which is a bit of a shame. Cleanliness: The room was white-themed and cleaned immaculately every day. Ambiance: We were assigned a room on the second-highest floor. The 360-degree panoramic restaurant on the top floor is absolutely stunning, offering a superb view of the city, and the food was excellent, with a huge variety of cheeses to choose from... Service: Every day, we received complimentary drinks, chips, and granola bars. What really touched me was when the staff brought breakfast to my room because I was rushing for a meeting in the morning. I was so grateful!

The location is fantastic, the view is stunning, everything is just superb! Absolutely amazing. The decor is incredibly beautiful, and the view from the window is simply unbeatable. The breakfast was also delicious.
