Hotel berhampiran Earl Nussbaumer Fraises â cueillir, Village-Neuf

The truly lovely, friendly staff are the only positive I can take away from this hotel. We booked late so everything else in a reasonable price range was booked up. For the price we paid, it was quite disappointing. Gives off strong youth hostel vibes, rooms in serious need of an update. No air-con ( and it's currently 35°C) and room smelled weird and fusty. Worst of all was the noise. We had a ground floor room and the noise from reception as well as guests sitting out until the wee hours on the terrace area continues until well after midnight. Then guests started to leave (at top volume) at 4am again. There is no sound-proofing inside the room either, i.e. from the bathroom. There may as well be no door at all. We paid €11 each for breakfast. The selection was sp**** but edible. In summary, we would not return to the hotel unless nothing else was available. We value a decent night's sleep too much.

Op zoek naar een praktische overnachtingsplaats in de buurt van het drielandenpunt Zwitserland, Frankrijk, Duitsland en met een aantal specifieke wensen (veilige parkeerplaats of liever garage, geringe loopafstanden (ik ben zeer slecht ter been), geen bad maar een douche, relatief hoog bed, restaurant) komen we bij deze ibis terecht. De ligging van het gebouw is voor onze trip haast ideaal te noemen! De ontvangst is zeer correct, persoonlijk, met lach en heel efficiënt. We krijgen inderdaad een kamer die aan onze verzoeken voldoet, terwijl de auto al in de garage onder het hotel staat. ’s Avonds eenvoudig maar heel lekker zitten eten. Bijzonder vriendelijk personeel! Goed geslapen en de volgende morgen, na een uitstekend ibis-ontbijt, een extreem efficiënte check-out. Al met al een heel goede ervaring met een goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding.

We just went there to relax and spend the night, having an early flight. The staff was one of the most helpful I have met recently. Eager to help us, to book a taxi for the morning, to inform us about the dinner time table . Breakfast was quite tasty and the room opens early in the morning. No trouble with our vaccine Certificates. Everything was smooth at this hotel. The room is modern and comfortable.

Perfect stay for one night before departing from BSL airport. Had been on Viking River Cruise so left at 11am to tour the historic Basel, Switzerland. Arrived at hotel around 2:30pm. Had an excellent lunch at LaCave. All in french so they had to help us interpret. Had a huge room, coffee maker, TV, nice hot shower, books, robes & slippers available. Dinner at LaCave was excellent. Madelines at night time with tea in room all complimentary. Staff at desk very nice day, evening & night. Helped with shuttle to airport in very early monring. No breakfast at that hour. I would definitely stay again and recommend to all my traveling friends. Rate was good and included trip to airport.

Be warned ahead of time that if you stay at this hotel during the summer when it is hot, there is no air conditioning in any rooms. I booked a room for our family at the Mercure Bale/Mulhouse Aeroport via that hotel's own website. When I received the booking confirmation, it showed that our hotel was a different one that is next door, the Aparthotel Adagio Bale Mulhouse Aeroport. After a quick glance at that hotel's website, I assumed that it would meet our needs just fine. I was very wrong. The Adagio Aparthotel did not have any staff at the front desk. Instead, the staff is located at the Mercure hotel next door, and that hotel apparently is owned by the same company. You cannot contact that staff from the room telephone, so you must walk outside and then over to that hotel in a different building in order to communicate with them. After our fourth visit to see them, they informed us that the phone system in the Adagio Aparthotel isn't functional. The staff there at the Mercure were unaware that the Aparthotel Adagio did not have a working air conditioning system, so when I first went down to ask them how to operate the air conditioning, they showed me the wall controls for their own hotel and assumed that the wall controls in my hotel room were the same. Alas, they were not the same. So a second and third visit down to their front desk resulted in an extended search on their part to discover that no air conditioning is available in our hotel. The night was so hot in the middle of June that we knew we wouldn't be able to sleep, so we asked for a transfer to the Mercure hotel, which is where we originally booked the room and thought we would be staying. They told us to open the door and windows to our hotel room so that the outside air could keep it cooler. Not only was it too hot for this, but there was a lot of outside noise in addition to the volume from televisions in other rooms whose doors were open. They then offered to make the transfer to the other hotel, but since they didn't have a family room available, they said we would have to purchase an additional room. We had arrived at 10:00 p.m., and by this time it was now 11:30 p.m. We felt desperate for a decent night's sleep before our flight the next morning. After about a 15-minute delay, an angel came our way. A staff member of the hotel (who appeared to work not as a manager but rather in the IT department) came out from a back room, spoke with the front desk staff, and convinced them to provide us with two rooms without an additional charge. One of the two rooms was fine, and our children were able to go into that room and go straight to sleep. The other room was hot, and the air conditioning would not work. So after a 20-minute delay, we moved to another room. At that point, I was able to go back to the other hotel and bring our suitcases over to the new room. Having needed to check-in at 04.30 for an Easy Jet flight at 06.30 from Basel to Athens on 24th September, it was necessary to get a place to crash for a few hours. Hotels in the city were no good because they were either 3 times the price I paid here at 40 euros and I would still have needed a taxi as the airport bus doesn't run till 5am. I did some recon on foot the week before and used Google maps to find the hotel. I'm glad I did this because in the dark I'd have got lost although the path to St Louise is actually signposted. It takes about 15 minutes on foot from the French airport entrance to the hotel, carting a 23kg sized case and a backpack. Basically, walk along the covered-in walkway, then go through the carpark to your left to the bottom, left-hand corner of it. There are steps up, but if you have luggage walk about another 20 metres and there's a path up. Then turn right and over a wooden bridge. You'll then go through a dodgy-looking tunnel and from here across the road and over the motorway bridge - this is the darkest part, so take a headlamp or use the torch on your phone if it's good enough. Once over the bridge it's first on your right. We arrived to powerful whiffs of ganja smoke outside the entrance, but I couldn't locate it's source, awe! A couple were having difficulty understanding the receptionist's directions for getting to the airport on foot, but when I explained it was a piece of cake, they went happily off to their box having their cases up the stairs as there's no lift. When I say box, this is where the fun starts. The rooms appear to be made from containers. We had double-room 213, which boasts a private shower and toilet. There is little space to move at all, but just enough to practice basic martial arts techniques by the door, or simply have a nice ”stand-up” instead of lying on the bed. There is not enough space to open your case on the floor apart from at the door or on the bed. A single window looks out onto the car park. For some people it might be too noisy because it's next to the motorway. The shower is so small that I'd reckon you'd need to be under 100kg or you won't fit in it or be able to turn round. The bed was clean and the mattrass comfortable. There is no towel for the shower, so I used a pillow case in the morning. For the price and location I am not complaining at all. I can't give two stars because the receptionist was a good laugh, despite having only basic English skills. The room was clean and I didn't need anything else because I had to get up so early. If it's raining though, you'll have an unpleasant trudge to the airport.
