They offer various room types – from king/queen rooms to standard rooms and suites – catering to the diverse needs of vacationers. The owner has two courtyards that can accommodate around 30 guests, and there's also a professional meeting room. This makes it particularly well-suited for family reunions and corporate team-building events. Highly recommended! I'd definitely consider booking out the entire place for a private gathering sometime."

JJohnUKCommunication with the owner was excellent via WeChat and all my questions were answered very quickly. I was kindly given a room upgrade and it was lovely and big and comfortable. It was very bright with an excellent view and you can see clearly see the Great Wall lights at night. There is a convenience store downstairs for anything you need. The entrance to Gubei Water town is only a few minutes walk so it is very convenient. The shower, Wi-Fi and air con all worked great. The bed is a little hard but normal for Asia and I am happy with it. I was very satisfied with a my 2 night stay.

Ttakashi216Our accommodation is located just outside Wuzhen, a mere 3-minute walk to the town's entrance. If you're driving, you'll need to park in the designated lot, and a hotel staff member will pick you up. The reception area even has playground equipment for kids, like a climbing frame, slide, and ball pit. We stayed in the upper unit of a stacked villa, which was a superhero-themed room with its own small slide – the kids absolutely adored it. The room had two beds, easily accommodating two adults and two children. Crucially, the beds were incredibly comfortable and odorless; my tired back finally got the rest it deserved after a long day, and I was very satisfied. There were no tissues in the room, but luckily, we had brought our own. All toiletries were well-stocked. There was a minor issue with the bathroom drain, but after reporting it, someone came to fix it promptly. We were so exhausted from our activities that we just collapsed into bed. When we finally woke up, it was quite late, but thankfully, the BBQ skewer shop next door was still open. The owner mentioned they're open until 2 AM. While a bit expensive, it was definitely a better option than instant noodles! Oh, and a bonus: from the balcony at night, you can even catch the drone show and a view of the Great Wall! Pretty cool!

It's very close to the entrance to the Watertown, the owner was very kind and helpful, and the room was massive with a great view over the Watertown and of the Great Wall. I even saw some of the drone show at night from the balcony. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The bathroom is Western style, and there was a water refill machine as well as a kettle for hot drinks. The room had plenty of space and everything a person needs for a night or two. It was also incredibly quiet at night, which I appreciated as a light sleeper. I recommend this place wholeheartedly.

GGuest UserThe host is very generous and give us a ride to the Great Wall entrance. If you ask them in advance, they can also provide breakfast and dinner with reasonable price. They also help to provide Great Wall cable cars/ slides/ lift tickets with lower price. The location is quite remote, but you can still take Didi to it from Beijing which costs around 150-250RMB. Also recommend to bring more water/ drinks/ snacks as there are no shops or supermarkets around.

AAnonymous UserThe rooms were beautifully decorated. What really stood out was the guesthouse's complimentary pre-booked shuttle service. This was a huge plus because parking at all the local tourist attractions is paid, and with so many visitors and vehicles around, finding a free spot is virtually impossible. What's more, their shuttle isn't one of those large, crowded vans where everyone is packed in; instead, it's a private car service, exclusively for one family or party at a time.
The staff were all incredibly helpful. The restaurant they recommended through their group chat was also fantastic. We arrived in the evening and went straight to the restaurant. The grilled skewers were absolutely delicious – truly expertly prepared! We visited the scenic spots on our second day, and on our third day, we even went back to the same restaurant for lunch to have more skewers, haha! We didn't head home until after we'd finished our meal. This guesthouse is indeed excellent, and we'll definitely book it again on our next visit!

FFanhualiunianruomengThe boss was very good. I asked him on WeChat if a double room would provide two quilts. He directly arranged a standard room for me and gave me two beds 🛏️, which was very awesome.
Although we didn't arrive until 10pm on the 28th, we were still escorted to check in by staff and had to take a photo of our ID card and upload it, because the Public Security Bureau has strict management.
Facilities: The kitchen and bathroom are complete, but there is no place to put clothes, so they can only be piled in front of the TV. The socket switches are blocked behind the bed.
Hygiene: Average, the bed may not have been cleaned.
Environment: The space is a bit too small, maybe the original design was for one bed, the aisle is also narrow, after coming here so many times, this room and the windowsill outside are the smallest.
Service: The service attitude is particularly good 👌🏻
There is a convenience store nearby. The sandwiches are not delicious, but the vegetable salad is good. Remember to buy salad dressing separately. There is nothing wrong with Dianbing Dianjiang except that it is a bit expensive. The beef noodles for 38 are delicious😋

GGuest UserI spent 3 weekdays at MingTang LinShui Inn, right next to Gubei Water Town, and had a great stay. The host doesn’t speak English but was very kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout my visit.
The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Gubei Water Town is within walking distance—while there's an entrance fee to explore the old quarter, the surrounding area is also peaceful and scenic, perfect for a relaxing stroll.
Just a note: weekends can get crowded, and there may be some noise from nearby night events. But on weekdays, it's quiet, calm, and truly a lovely escape. Highly recommend for a peaceful weekday getaway!

The unit is clean and all electrical appliances functioning well. The unit we stay is about 400 meter walking distance to Gubei tourist Registration center. We enjoy our stay. Valuable stay for a group of 5 persons.

MM14730****Simple duplex with 2 floors, but everything is available. No wasted space. The balcony is small, but the night view outside is great. You can see the lights of the Great Wall and the water town. It was a good preparation for going to the town and the Great Wall the next day. The biggest difference from the big hotel I stayed in the next day was that there was basically no service. After receiving the door lock code, I was alone, and there was no one and no service staff. This should be the reason why the B&B is cheap, which is similar to air b&b abroad.

GGuest UserWe arrived at noon and went to eat before the room was cleaned. When we came back from dinner, no one had come to clean the room. We waited at the door with our children for over an hour. We didn't officially check in until 2:30. We had to contact the landlord to send someone to clean the room. Breakfast was very expensive, millet porridge for 5 yuan a bowl, and fried dough sticks for 7 yuan each. The scenic area is worth it. I will come again next time and choose an inn in the scenic area.
