Look for Balaji Inn (not Lodge) on the street. The space is clean. One has to take the stairs to reach the 1st floor where the reception is located. The room was clean with A/C and hot water. The price was within the usual range. The receptionist gave me the impression to prefer cash on digital payments.

10 km far from the City Center , but good property under 3K INR per night. Hotel restaurant food is good , however for breakfast and tea , they bring food from nearby hotel (not sure why). Hotel staffs are very good , underground covered car park and 24hr security are a huge plus. I strongly recommend this hotel if you have your own car and don't mind driving extra 10-15 km daily

Even though i had an email confirmation of early check in, the reception guy was asking me to wait till 2 pm until i produced the email copy. So basically no record / track is kept about guests requests. Secondly, the entrance was horrible as some underground work was going on and had a large pit dug on the narrow road that leads to the hotel from the main road. So the guests had to take a long way around using a different parallel road to reach the hotel which i had to figure out myself. The hotel authority should have informed this earlier. Otherwise, this is a budget stay hotel. Since i was about to checkout early considering the fact that i checked in early, provisions were made to provide the complimentary breakfast on the day i checked in and i do appreciate it ! i would also suggest an inprovement to provide an intercom facility in future. Thanks

PPengguna TetamuExceptional. A luxurious vacation home set in a relaxing environment that allows you to disconnect. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. I ate at the restaurant nearly everyday, and everything was cooked to perfection. From smoothies to daal to pancakes, just delicious. Best of all were the people, especially the Founder. So kind hearted and welcoming the moment I stepped out of the taxi. She makes you feel at home, gets you connected to what’s happening in Auroville. Can’t wait to be back!

PPengguna TetamuI booked a room with balcony. I got room with a common walking alley. Not a private balcony. This property is not that great when it comes to ambiance. The rooms are below average and needs lot of maintenance. The actual worth of the property is 1000 rs max. Per night. The swimming pool is clean. But water is not treated well. Water was having a bad taste.

If one is visiting with family, please drive down to Pondy, the place is not worth it It is situated in a mall and the entire is in the backside Opted for a suite room. There is no in house restaurant and food is sourced from the one below You will have to pay the boys and they will get it Complimentary Breakfast is from the place, they give you a coupon; the food served was cold and tasteless I found my room to be dirty , dusty and some cockroaches here and there The linen however was clean Showers are old and does not come in the full force The only place in Villupuram where you can sleep Stay for business visits only. No family

PPengguna TetamuWe had heard a lot about K resort, so for my father's special birthday celebration, we had booked two rooms and stayed overnight. Pro: 1) The room is big, spacious and clean. 2)The bathroom is big and the shower pressure is amazing. 3) The A La Carte menu: The Indo-Chinese and the Indian cuisine very tasty. Now all the negatives: 1) Due to the location, lots of lizards and frogs enter the room. Terrified me badly. Whole night I slept with all of my lights on as I could hear the lizards making the noise. Still getting shudders thinking about it. They need to fix this problem. 2) My parents' room AC was not working well. We had to keep calling them to fix it. 3) I agree the food was delicious, but the service in the restaurant was super slow. We were the only family living and dining. Still it was not well organised in the order the food came. They gave us the gravy and made us wait for the chapathi nearly for 30mins! 4) The restaurant ***ager was super rude. Out of the 4 people, two people ate their breakfast in the restaurant, for the other two, we decided to pack as due to medical reasons, they needed to fast before eating. He questioned us why we packed so ***y dishes (according to him), and doubted us as if we wanted to free load some food. Ridiculous behaviour. I pointed out, two people who ate the breakfast, ate three times the amount we packed for the other two. 5) Generally the whole service is slow, from room service, fixing the AC, catching the extra lizards and frogs in the room, food serving: in short they made us wait for a long time. 6) The pool was dirty. They did not bother to clean as the resort was empty apart from our family. 7) The buffet breakfast was average. As we were the only guests, it was very basic. In short the hotel and staff did not give their best or even bothered as we were the only guests. My mom and brother did not stay the night and left after dinner, as they were not happy at all. I am glad we booked only for 1 night. Never coming again. It was a terrible experience for my family.
