The hotel is excellent! The quality with the price is absolutely a good deal. Location’s perfect, near to shopping area and within walking distance to old town. Room is spacious but sound proof wasn’t really good, can feel and hear if someone’s slamming their doors.

The Ibis Centrum is located approximately 12 minutes walk from the old town over the river into the new quarter. It is on the opposite side of the city to the train and bus station. My advice would be either to get a cab (25 euros!!), Uber or bus to the hotel. The airport bus also has a stop close by. Check-in was quick, friendly and professional. My mobility assist room was located on the 4th floor. Their are two lifts and both were working. The room was large, light, modern and airy with standard ibis decor and fittings. A flat screen tv, hanging space, writing desk and air con, the double bed (2 x singles together) was extremely firm - too firm for me personally but others might prefer a hard bed. The shower room was extremely large and spotless clean. My only wish is that ibis provide a shelf in the shower area to put your shower paraphernalia on. Not easy having to constantly bend to the floor to pick up shampoo etc. On the ground floor of the hotel next to reception is a lounge area, children’s play area, bar and breakfast room (ibis kitchen). Breakfast is the standard ibis Fayre of hot and cold food. The croissants were particularly large and very good! I did use the ibis kitchen for a casual dinner. The pasta dish was fine. I would have liked more choice though. Note that the hotel does have an underground car park, and accepts well behaved dogs (supplement). Despite the poor wet weather? I enjoyed my stay at the ibis centrum. On a final note their was one particular member of staff I would like to commend. A blonde haired lady (sorry I did not get her name) who worked the ibis kitchen and bar was extremely helpful towards me. She offered to carry my breakfast tray (I use a walking stick) , and when ordering drinks (pot of tea for 2 euros is a bargain) she brought them personally to my table. She is a credit to the hotel. Rooms are a decent size if a little dated style. Breakfast buffet is plentiful and a good choice hot or cold. I would give the hotel top marks for being clean and tidy. Check in is by keypad and code is sent in advance but there is a help desk on site and the lady there was very helpful. There is also a luggage room which helps if you are early or need to store for a while after checkout

The hotel and room itself were nice, modern, clean, comfortable and warm. Breakfast was good and the staff were polite and helpful. We liked the breakfast porridge very much and found the food was fresh and tasty. Some fresh fruit would be a nice addition. The hotel is much further from the centre than you would think. our Booking website listed the hotel as a 15 min walk from the centre, but it was 25-30 from the areas you are most likely to visit and there are hills, so go prepared for this or take Uber/Bolt cars which are very cheap. (We would consider ourselves fast walkers) IGNORE THE 'HISTORIC CENTRE' DIRECTION SIGN POST OUTSIDE THE MAIN ENTRANCE which has been put up the wrong way and directs unsuspecting tourists in the opposite direction to where they want to go. Nobody warned us about this initially. This won't affect most visitors, but during our stay the hotel hosted a darts tournament, which I am sure brings them good custom. However, not all of the people attending this event were very considerate of other guests staying at the hotel and it did affect our experience for the one weekend we stayed. Some drunk guests from the darts teams were running and shouting up and down our corridor (third floor) from midnight until around 5am, banging on doors, shouting and laughing loudly. This made it very difficult to sleep. In the morning the breakfast room was overwhelmed and dishes were emptied by the darts players soon after they were put out. I put my orange juice, cutlery and glasses on a table one morning and went to grab my breakfast and when I returned one of the darts players was busy moving my things to the side so that they could take my seat. It kind of made me feel like a second priority guest. There were lots of darts tournament attendees heavy drinking at the hotel bar (which is in the main reception) at all hours of the day and due to the hard, modern decor, this made the communal areas very noisy.

The hotel is a short walk from the old town. The street it is on is quiet and I felt safe walking there, even at night. After 8pm there are no staff on site but there is a keypad with code for security at the door. The reception staff were very efficient and friendly. Rooms are bit dated but extremely clean and had everything I needed, including a fridge and hairdryer in the room. For the price it is extremely good value. Unfortunately I didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel but it smelt very good and was included in the room rate. I would definitely stay here again as it was a good budget friendly option.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is unique with the art work surprising us as we moved about the hotel. The breakfast room in the lower level is brightened with painting as well. The rooms are high tech with touch screens for temperature and lighting. The bathroom shower has hot water instantly and a hand held shower head as an alternative. Nice bath products. Comfortable bed, a desk to work at, and an easy chair. Coffee and tea for the room. Only thing could have a larger cup for tea. Very friendly man checked us in easily when we arrived quite late. The room was quiet and no street noises. Black out curtains. Lots of selections at breakfast buffet- eggs, meats, vegetables, herring, cereals, sweets, cold meats and cheeses, fruit, juices—all laid out very attractively. Highly recommend.

ABSOLUTLY NOT RECOMMENDED! WE BOOKED 2 DOUBLE ROOMS IN SEPTEMBER 2022 FOR A RAMMSTEIN CONCERT. AT THIS POINT THEY HAD A LOT OF ROOMS FREE AND OFFERED IT IN ***********. IN MAI 2023 (7 month later!) THEY CANCELED OUR ROOMS (2 DOUBLE ROOMS) WITH THE CASE ”SORRY - OUR HOTEL IS OVERBOOKED”. BUT THE REAL AND TRUE CASE WAS, THEY OFFERED THE ROOMS TO OTHER GUESTS CAUSE OF RARLY AVAILABLE ROOMS IN MAY 2023/VILNIUS. WE ORGINALLY PAID 599 EURO FOR ONE WEEK TOTAL FOR BOTH DOUBLE ROOMS IN SEPTEMBER 2022. IN MAI 2023 THEY OFFERED THE ROOMS FOR OVER AROUND 2000 EURO+ PER WEEK (EACH ROOM!). FROM THE BUSINESS POINT OF VIEW ITS SURLY WISE BUT ITS REALLY REALLY UNFAIR TO THE GUESTS TO F*CK THEIR LONG PLANNED HOLIDAYS IN THE LAST MOMENT BEFOR THE TRAVEL BEGINS. IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE FOR US TO FIND ANOTHER PAYABLE HOTEL IN VILNIUS SO WE HAD TO CHOOSE SOMETHING 30KM OUTSIDE OF VILNIUS CITY. WE HAD TO USE BOLT/UBER TAXIS EVERY DAY AND WE HAD ALOT OF EXTRA COSTS CAUSE OF THIS OUTRAGEOUS HOTEL. WE ARE VERY VERY DISAPOINTED AND I WILL POST THIS STORY WHEREVER I CAN! UNBELIEVABLE!

This is a very nice hotel. The reception staff are extremely helpful (thanks!), my room was very nice, comfortable mattress (and I’m fussy), excellent breakfast, including non-dairy items (thanks again!). The hotel is a short walk to the bus station, or two blocks from a bus 3g bus stop going to the airport (short ride). The hotel is not right in Old Town, but is a very short walk, which for me seemed perfect. Finally, the lobby furniture is really nice, much better than the usual.

Great location with budget stays. Less than 10€ with Bolt taxi booking at app to hotel. My room with great views of the Old Town city. Just 200m opposite is the train and bus station. Easy travel to Trakai Castles by train

В гостинице Vilnius Grand Resort отдыхали не первый раз. 3 раза проживали в номерах ДЕЛЮКС и много раз в улучшенном. В этот раз был улучшенный номер, но я раньше такой мебели не видела - комодик из сосны 30 лет от роду. Прямо смотреть было невозможно. Легкой занавески на окне нет- уюта никакого. Но постель белоснежная, ванна суперчистая. Завтрак никуда негодный Пережаренный бекон, сухая старая селедка, даже яичницы глазуньи нет. Завтрак ухудшился Поставили хорошие кофейные аппараты, а купить приличный кофе сэкономили. Рекламируемый SPA практически недоступен - там родители с детьми. Выход есть - платим 19 е и идем в новый SPA. Там чудесно.
