We stayed one night prior to boarding a cruise. We arrived mid to late morning on New Years Day and thankfully they were able to get us into a room right away. It was maybe a 1 km or so walk to the waterfront, with many shops, restaurants, etc. both on the waterfront and along the way. Easily caught an UBER to the cruise port the next morning after checkout and I think the fare was under 5 USD. Breakfast was very nice and adequate for our needs. The room was quiet and service was good. They brought us an iron and ironing board on request. We enjoyed a nice, light dinner in the restaurant as well.

Fuimos a celebrar y nos encontramos con un hotel que aun vive de su pasado glorioso. Los espacios, el servicio del personal, la vista y la ubicación excelente. Dejando de lado esto, el hotel requiere urgentemente mantención. Suelos de la entrada rotos, murallas sin pintar, vidrios sucios, muebles de la habitación en mal estado, servicio del desayuno bueno pero no 5 estrellas, palta sintética, jamon de mala calidad, jugos no naturales. Yo el hotel lo visite hace 10 años y claramente no le han metido ni un peso en todos estos años. Es una lastima porque a pesar de todo, todavia sigue siendo un gran hotel. SALVENLO

The hotel is really well-maintained, and there is attention to detail about almost everything to make it a great stay. When the mini fridge in my room didn't work, they sent someone immediately to take it away and replace it with a working one. The buffet breakfast had a variety of foods, and safety protocol were in place with food wrapped individually and staff wearing masks at all times. There are a few things that could have been better. I found that the water for taking a shower wasn't hot at all, and I was hoping it would have been better since this was my second stay at this hotel this year. The other thing is that I am a member of their reward program, but after both of my stays my account wasn't credited with the points or nights I had accrued. I've had to call various numbers and talk to different people to get the points, which is a bit of a hassle. Overall I will stay again.

Dear Sir, I have an issue to be resolved I WAS overcharged. The hotel did charge taxes (VAT) twice ,they did charge Chilean $ 229.000 which includes the tax and on top they charged the tax again over the 229.000

We had a super stay at Gala Hotel for one week, the time to find a flat in Viña. Room was super spacious, with a nice view. The cleaning was perfect and the staff super friendly. Don’t expect a luxurious hotel but at this price the value for money was excellent, with a buffet breakfast included. The location is also ideal, in the center of Viña, and very close to restaurants and groceries. Thanks again, we’ll recommend your hotel!

Es un lindo lugar, bien ubicado , con muchos servicios , como el jacusi , piscina, cerca del sector 5 de la playa de Reñaca , buen acceso al transporte público. Limpieza diaria de los departamentos. El personal super servicial , y muy bien predispuestos. Tuvimos problemas con el microhondas y lo cambiaron en el instante, y cualquier cosa de mantenimiento lo arreglan . Si creo que podrían invertir más en el mantenimiento edilicio . Lo negativo: oleadas de feo olor ( no siempre) porque está justo frente a los lobos marinos. El estacionamiento no está garantizado dentro del edificio de departamentos y dejar los vehiculos afuera no es seguro , Chile está muy peligroso con el robo de autos. Cuando estuvimos nosotros robaron una camioneta estacionada en frente. Igualmente, los autos que quedan afuera, el mismo hotel pone cepos en las ruedas y te dan una traba para poner en el volante del conductor y el mismo personal del hotel hacen rondines para cuidar los vehículos. Lo recomiendo , pero hay que tener en cuenta estas cosas.
