Hotel Visby dengan Bar

A spontaneous booking on the same day rendered an excellent experience. Staff at reception personal and accommodating. Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast enjoyable. Location perfect should you come by car. The sauna in the spa could use an upgrade in terms of esthetics and heating surface.

Novi resort is close to the Visby center. The taxi charges 200sek from the Visby port. It becomes more convenient if you have a car. Self check in option makes it more easy. The Deluxe rooms are so worth it with a great view. Superior rooms are quite big as well. The breakfasts are filling and delicious. Special mention to Emy. She made our stay absolutely special. From serving us breakfasts to adhering to requests like giving us heater in the room, extra blankets etc. She is one of the highlight of our stay in Novi resort. Things that can be improved: - Reception closes at 4pm but it would be great if a single staff is around for later for any unforeseen issues. - Our room had heating issue, if such things are monitored it would be great.

Das Hotel ist super gelegen. Auf der einen Seite das Meer auf der anderen Seite ein großer Park. Es sind nur 5 Minuten zum Hafen. Dennoch ist es soweit entfernt, dass man von dem Trubel nichts mitbekommt. Wir waren als Familie dort und hatten ein Familienzimmer. Dieses war liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Bad ist jedoch ziemlich winzig. Leider kann man nicht normal auf dem WC sitzen. Beim duschen das gesamte Bad geflutet trotz Duschabtrennung. Was wir eben so vermisst haben, waren Fliegengitter an den Fenstern. Das gigantische Frühstücksbuffet und der tolle Service können aber darüber hinwegtrösten. Alles wird frisch zubereitet und liebevoll angerichtet. Ebenso bietet das Restaurant mit seiner asiatischen Küche ausgezeichnetes Dinner an.

The worst hotel we ever stayed in! Or first room was very small and in the attic; the balcony was straight over the exhaust from the kitchen so we could neither use the balcony or leave the balcony door open. The view was the short side of the next house a few meters way. The mattresses was very poor. After complaining we got a better room for one night and was promise ”our best double room” for the rest of our stay. This turned out also to be in the attic and so small that we hardly could walk at the side of the bad. The bathroom was the smallest I have seen and wit a defect shower drapery. I have never seen such a bed hotel room And for this, they wanted €300 per night..... We checked out after only two nights from the five booked, which we never have done before. The breakfast buffet was not replenished. Missing was, among other things: bacon, egg cake, juice, juice glasses, butter, marmalade. From the bread it was only two end-pieces left. The breakfast room was crowded, dark and dirty.

First of all I would like to point out that I didn’t in fact stay here, but popped in for a coffee to warm myself after a long walk to Högklint and back. They have a small bar/café /restaurant where they serve lunch. I ordered a Cappuccino, and received it beautifully served on a small wood plank together with a couple of pieces of chocolate. It tasted lovely, and service was quick, efficient and friendly. To be recommended!

If you have a car, you must pay for parking ($26 for 3 days). It can be noisy if you face the main road. No shelf or counter space in bathroom. Breakfast offering are extensive, but it can be crowded and you must book a time slot the night before. Lots of electric outlets in room. Walking distance to Old Visby. Helpful staff. Close to ferry.
