The rooms & location is great. Signing up included 13 emails in total & the automatic check-in didn't work out. I was confused by the many emails and instructions. I can recommend it only if the checkin is simplified.

Very nice rooms but the location is slightly out of the way. No designated parking but the staff say you can park anywhere and it’s ok regardless of the time restrictions. Price is great for what you’re getting!!!

Excellent, good value clean friendly

The room is not bad, clean and tidy. The breakfast is also delicious, and there is a parking lot nearby. This is my second time staying here. I slept quite comfortably, but I should improve my work efficiency.

The hotel is near a train station called St Niklaus VS, about 3 minutes' walk away. This station is about 45 minutes away from Zermatt by train. It's actually a B&B, so checking in is a bit troublesome. The door is black and you can push it in without locking it. At 8 o'clock in the evening, there was no service staff and I asked for self-service check-in. I tried Ctrip's reservation number and the hotel's confirmation number, but couldn't check in. There was a number (see Figure 2) that I could call, but because I didn't buy a local phone bill service, I couldn't check in. I didn't know what to do for a while. The owner and guests of the hotel opposite were very helpful. One guest directly called us to help us, and then helped us get the key and find the room. Thank you very much! The hotel provides body lotion. The freshly made coffee for breakfast is great. The other food is very simple. There are fewer types of bread and meat but it is enough.

This is a hotel next to Niglou Station. It only takes 3 minutes to get off the bus and walk there. The people here are really friendly. As soon as we got off the train, a bus driver stopped and told us the direction to the hotel. Since we returned very late, the self-service check-in was not smooth. The bartender opposite the hotel and the customers inside enthusiastically helped us find a solution. Gave us a lot of warmth. The windows in this house are so large that they can all be opened. Extremely quiet and the perfect choice. Breakfast was also very good. This place is only three stops away from Zermatt, and the ride takes about half an hour. We will be back again.

This small hotel is excellent. It is just a few years old. Clean and very modern. This hotel is best if you have a rail pass. St. Nicklaus is about 30 minutes away from Zermatt. But the cost difference between here and hotels in Zermatt is HUGE. If you only want to visit Zermatt one or two days, it works great. The breakfast buffet is included, and it is wonderful.

I don't know why, I got the best sleep score here (data source is my e-watch) After waking up, I went to the breakfast point and had some yogurt and bread. Then ask the staff to bring us to the gym (located in another building) for half an hour of fitness, feeling full of vitality all day. It's a great experience, love from China

Stayed for two nights with my fiancé to explore the Zermat area. Had a bit of a problem when we arrived as there is no parking at the hotel and no staff were around the advise us, so make sure you plan ahead! There are multiple long stay car parks in the town. The bed was comfortable enough and the room was lovely and clean. The self check in system was easy to use and the breakfast was great. Coffee machines in the rooms is a nice touch. The town itself doesn’t have much to offer but it’s good if you can’t find somewhere to stay in Zermat itself.

We stayed here for one night while hiking the Haute Route. We checked in at a nearby store, which took us to our room and gave us our rooms keys. Our room was modern, spacious and comfortable. Our only complaint across the street from our room was a bar/restaurant with people sitting on the patio. It did not make for a relaxing evening after dinner with all the bar noise. Fortunately, they did not stay up terribly late. I would consider the restaurant/bar noise before booking, otherwise room was great.

The good news: It’s well located, right in the center of town where you arrive whether by Haute Route trail or by train. The completely automated check in process went smoothly (though it would’ve been nice to have someone to resolve the problem I describe below.) The room was clean and handsome. Breakfast was solid - including good coffee. Now, the bad news: Room 104 has no ventilation. The only air vent is the fan in the bathroom. The single “window” is actually a glass door, sitting right at street level of the heavily used pedestrian walkway behind the hotel - so getting air into the room means also welcoming anyone why might be passing by to come on in. I don’t like leaving negative reviews - but this is a serious design flaw that shifted what would’ve been a lovely stay into a miserable night. I imagine other rooms aren’t set like this, so your odds are pretty good if having a better experience than I did- but if you land with 104, your night is recked and their is no one to turn to for help.

We stayed in the new rooms which were stylish and very clean. The beds are super comfy. Breakfast was good and the owner very helpful. St Nicklaus is small and quiet and the train station only a very short walk away. We would recommend this hotel.

A real pleasure to have passed by, surprised by a virtual welcome on iPad but simple and effective. We booked the accommodation from December 30th, 2023 to January 1st, 2024 and were very disappointed! When we arrived, we couldn't get into the hotel because the outside door was locked. Our room card was in the entrance area of ​​the hotel (it was stored there with a code), so we had to get into the hotel first. After we had contacted the accommodation by phone, it took a full 20 minutes until other guests happened to arrive who could open the door with their card. We had booked the hotel including breakfast. After all the excitement, we were finally able to go to our room. The room was nice and we thought that was the end of the hassle! Wrong thought!! When we wanted to go for breakfast the next morning at 7:30 a.m., there was no one there and nothing had been prepared. According to the hotel, breakfast was served from 7:00 a.m. We were not the only guests; there were others who had arrived earlier and were waiting for staff. It was another 30 minutes before an employee appeared... I am extremely disappointed with the service - I have never experienced anything like it before - and I would definitely not recommend this accommodation! We have not yet received any compensation, even though the hotel promised us this in writing! All in all - extremely unprofessional!
