Hotel/restaurant met goed ontbijt, goede bedden en airco op de kamer. Bediening in het restaurant is Engelstalig. Voor ons niet erg, maar niet fijn als je alleen Nederlands spreekt De locatie dicht bij de boulevard is erg fijn. Onze hotelkamer (aan de achterzijde) daarentegen was zeker geen topper! Kamer was schoon, maar klein en zeer erg gehorig vanwege andere gasten die direct langs het raam passeren e/o naar hun kamer gaan. Privacy is alleen een beetje gewaarborgd met een strook folie die de inkijk een beetje moet tegengaan. In de douche zit een klein vervelend drempeltje waar je gemakkelijk je tenen stoot en na een douchebeurt is het dweilen!

Het personeel is heel vriendelijk. De inrichting binnen is mooi klassiek en gezellig. Er is een loungeruimte met bank, stoelen, een grote tafel een platenspeler en een bibliotheek met ruil-/leenboeken. Het hotel heeft geen eetgelegenheid en/of bar. In de lounge kun je op kamernummer wel drankjes en versnaperingen nemen. Het ontbijt is vers (behalve de jus d'orange) en uitgebreid. Heel goed wat ons betreft. Glutenvrij werd serieus en attent benaderd, en 's morgens kwamen ze er spontaan mee aandragen. Zo'n persoonlijke touch is heel prettig. Wij hadden een luxe kamer met terras in het bijgebouw. Daar was niks op aan te merken. Wij vonden hem niet gehorig (de anderen verbleven op de t****e etage. Zij vonden het daar tamelijk gehorig, hoorden het personeel 's morgens in kasten bezig. Daar lag tapijt op de vloeren. Onze luze kamer had een mooie en nette badkamer met douche en bad en fรถhn. Koelkastje, kluisje aanwezig. Heel bijzonder mooie behangetjes overal. Heel de kamer had plavuizen in houtprofiel. We lezen overal over heerlijke bedden, maar wij allemaal vonden ze te hard, maar dat is persoonlijk. Bedden voor langere mensen wat kort (2m). Het terras : een klein platje omringd met struiken. Er staan een tafel en twee stoelen, erachter de parkeerplaats. Kijk je hoger, dan zie je wel overal bomen. Het hotel is omringd door een flinke parkachtige tuin en eromheen staan statige oude villa's ook met grote tuinen. 's Avonds roept de bosuil; 's morgens de merel. Het hotel ligt op 10 minuten lopen van het centrum en je kunt er gratis parkeren.

PPengguna TetamuHet hotel zit in een leuke straat in Vlissingen, parkeren is er voldoende in de buurt, wel even met het hotel een parkeerkaart regelen van te voren. Bezienswaardigheden van Vlissingen op loopafstand Vriendelijk personeel Ontbijt is heel divers, ook prima! Wij sliepen in de gezinskamer, met naast ons nog een gezinskamer, in de andere kamer naast ons hadden we een gezin met jonge kinderen die het niet naar hun zin hadden. Dan zijn de kamers veel te gehorig, dit was heel vervelend voor mijn gezin. ( dit was in de avond als iedereen gaat slapen) Het hotel is zeker een aanrader voor als je in Vlissingen wilt overnachten

Unfortunately, this is the worst hotel for service and value we have ever stayed in and we travel a lot for business and pleasure. We booked a luxury double room with sea view and balcony. It was not cheap. My husband had stayed at this hotel before, under the previous owners, but only had a double rear facing room. He said his room was better than our luxury double. It looked nothing like the photo on the website. We queried this and were then offered another room. However, the air conditioning was shocking. The Manager tried to clean the filter in our sink when he realised there was an issue with it. No offer to change room though. You are given 1 medium towel each and a flannel. We asked for more towels and we were given 2 but they were removed the next day by the housekeepers and not returned. You are given 1 shower gel in the shower and at the sink. No shampoo, conditioner etc is provided. The room was not luxurious and it was not a cheap room - very overpriced. The breakfast is fine if you like bread and pastries but the offer of a cooked breakfast was very poor - overcooked and dry. We hired bikes which only worked intermittently until we realised they had not connected the battery correctly. We had to pay an extra 50 euros to check out at 1pm and then were locked out of our room at 12pm so had to go down and get the key reinstated. The girls on the front desk were not helpful or good at customer service bar the girl studying for her business degree. She will go far. We broke a glass and told reception first thing in the morning to tell the housekeeper. When re returned the bedroom had been cleaned but the glass left all over the floor. It was this girl that took the time and effort to bring a vacuum up and clean it as the housekeepers had already left for the day. Our last night in Vlissingen we stayed at De Gevangentoren Suite for a very similar price but the luxury of that place is amazing. The difference between the 2 was astonishing We could not fault it. If you want to stay in Vlissingen then choose to stay there and not the Fletcher Hotel which is overpriced and very disappointing.
