PPengguna TetamuGreat Residence Inn, clean, comfortable rooms (we had a 2 bedroom suite). Staff was extremely kind and welcoming throughout our stay. The small indoor pool was refreshing after a day of 90+ degree weather. Other than the noise of the train when it runs by, a very quiet stay. We were on the 3rd floor, corner 2br suite, with a view of the ALICO building and the train rails. We were a couple, travelling with my mother-in-law and our 2 dachshunds. (Sun - Mon stay) Daily breakfast provided a good variety of choices. Fresh fruits, hot foods (protein), cereals, yogurts, oatmeal, COFFEE, tea, juices. Post Covid-19 food safety protocols are very satisfactory, although not as fun (you can't make your own waffles anymore, but the have ”packaged” waffles that you can warm up ). Surprising variety of non-dairy items (oatmilk, soymilk) great for a lactose intolerant diet! We do enjoy a good breakfast before going out exploring and this Residence Inn filled that niche. Finding the entrance to the Inn was a bit tricky due to all the construction going on (May, 2022), - however, that's a short term problem. Location is an easy 4 block walk to the Magnolia complex (if that's where you're going). However, be warned - there are a number of homeless in the Silos' and surrounding area when it shuts down for the day, perhaps due to the Salvation Army Meal kitchen and the Greyhound bus terminal being within the same area. Although if you travel in numbers and just are aware when walking, you should be fine. They is supposedly a trolly that travels to/from the hotel and the immediate Magnolia Silo's area, however, the construction may have re-routed that temporarily. Overall, would we stay here again when visiting? Absolutely!
