My husband and I regularly stay at 5-star properties around the world, including other Four Seasons properties. This was by far the best. From Rafael in the Club Lounge to our servers at breakfast at Duo, to our pool attendants, everyone was lovely and over the top helpful. You will not need to lift a finger if you don't want to! Only drawback is that it is very, very expensive. For example, the buffet breakfast for two was $150 each morning at Duo. It was delicious and the view was lovely, but it felt steep. Drinks were $23 each. Basically, take what you are used to at many hotels and add at least 20%. But...it's the Four Seasons. You don't come here for a budget experience, so you can't really expect a budget price!

The Hotel Wailea is a superb first class get a way for couples seeking a quiet restful time together. The service is outstanding and the kitchen, in my opinion, gets a gold star. The rooms are all suites with outdoor balconies, kitchen and separate seating area from the bedroom. The location is stellar as the property is away from the beach (but access to the beach is very easy) which provides excellent vistas and a quiter environment.

Money grabbing bas**rds at this hotel. Loyal Marriott customer. had to cancel due to covid. Asked for some leeway based on this issue (36 hour cancellation vs their 72 hr requirement) and they didn't care. I'm out $500 but they are out a couple thousand at least on our rescheduled trip to Maui in a couple of months, since there is no way I'll stay in this place. Not only that, I'm staying anywhere but Marriott from here on. Thanks for nothing Marriott and the Maui Kahului location in particular. I'm sure Hilton and the rest will enjoy my future business.

We did a sister trip for our birthdays and thru the recommendation of a dear friend we were able to get a room here and we couldn’t have been happier. Everything was amazing from the location which is perfectly centrally located, to the room and most importantly the hosts from Joanna and Kaui to everyone I spoke to at the desk. Working in the industry for 27 years I know good customer service when I feel it … and the host of the Maui Coast Hotel are top notch! My sister and I can’t wait to go back! Cheap and cozy. Not far from the airport. But hard to find the parking lot. Clean and convenient.

The resort, though currently undergoing construction, managed to provide a peaceful and rejuvenating escape, leaving us enamored with its charm. Sunset enthusiasts, like my son and I, were treated to an unparalleled spectacle each evening. The resort's prime location gifted us with mesmerizing sunset views, painting the skies with vibrant hues of orange and pink, creating an enchanting backdrop against the tranquil waters. Despite the ongoing construction, the tranquility of Maui Bay Villas was preserved. The staff went above and beyond to ensure minimal disturbance, and their amiable demeanor added a welcoming touch to our stay. Their friendliness and willingness to assist with any request greatly enhanced our overall experience. While the ambiance and scenery were exceptional, one aspect that fell a tad short was the limited dining options available on the property. Although the quality of food served was satisfactory, having a wider variety would have added more culinary delight to our stay. Exploring nearby eateries became part of our adventure, allowing us to savor the diverse flavors of Maui. In summary, Maui Bay Villas is a hidden gem offering stunning sunsets, a welcoming beach club, and a serene ambiance despite ongoing construction. The friendly staff contributed to a memorable stay, even though the dining choices on-site were somewhat limited. For those seeking tranquility amidst tropical beauty, this is an idyllic escape worth considering.

This hotel simply was far above what we expected!!! It is in a GREAT location!!! It has easy access to the Kahului Airport and is right across the street from the beach!! The room was roomy, comfortable and more than what we were expecting!! There was a nice patio were we sat and had morning coffee. There is a pool and hot tub as well as laundry facilities on site. Staff was very friendly as well. We could not have expected more. Thank you you the staff of the Kohea Kai Maui for a fabulous stay for our anniversary!!! We will definitely be back!!
