before you book please be aware that this place is bascially 40 years old (Princess Phukaew Hill Resort before Imperial took over 1992) and some people might feel that decor is worn. YES it's true- but everything was working: Wifi, Hotel water, Toilet, TV, pool, even a Sauna (only female is working 2023). Remember that you pay only 800 THB for room but you'll get a beautiful historical garden (park like) setting, Wifi, Pool and - important - silence is golden!!!
We checked some newer and more expensive places: no views, no gardens, no trees... I'd prefer this place 100 times!
Golf carts will help you ot get back to your place on hillside (instead of walking) Cleaniness could be improved (but how to remove verdigris on some copper materials?)
Breakfast I'd skip next time (breakfast around 160 THB/Person prebooked) as a Westener there is no real selection, same in street food stalls cost 40THB only per dish)

Stayed in the Hillside rooms. Comfortable , simple clean room with balcony . The resort is nice , service was good. Breakfast was more Thai style with some fried eggs and bread corner , cornflakes etc. Parking is available. Wifi also available. Connected is the adventure park for activities and peak to take pictures .

Property is beautiful. Very quiet and we had relaxing 2 nights. Restaurant staffs are very nice and sweet specially Bom. All the staffs are very kind, hospitable and ready to help. If they don’t have language barrier they can do better. It’s good to have females but specially physical jobs such as luggage delivering and pick up men presence is better. Owners must think about the maintenance of the property. We like our experience and had a wonderful time.
