Had the pleasure of an overnight stay over the weekend. We were greeted by friendly reception and given keys to our room. Room 103 was very comfortable, clean, a modern bathroom and with complimentary toiletries. The location was excellent and parking easy on site. Was pleasantly surprised about how really comfortable our room would be. Would we return? Yes definitely.

The room appeared to be clean which was great. It always bothers me when accommodation establishments don’t put quilts into the quilt covers, the thought of someone else touching that quilt while sleeping or doing anything else creeps me out. I figure it’s not hard to actually use the quilt cover?! The room and facilities were very average and overpriced, however for one night and if desperate (as we were), it will do.

A great location - central and handy for everything, but also nice and quiet. Parking is a little tight. Shower was great. I was disappointed that there wasn't a desk (or even a table) as I was there on business and needed to stay on top of emails etc. There were some minor maintenance issues in my room (toilet and kettle) but the front office was never attended so I could not report them. If you are there for an extended period, be aware that they only service your room if you put out the sign. I didn't realise this until day 3 when I was in need of clean towels. Perhaps a sign by the door would be useful?

I have booked with the kitchenette, hence it was a big room Light cooking is ok, but not if you want to cook a normal meal, there is smoke detector on top of the stove (just for your information). Dish washer is provided for your convenience which is great The room view is not up to expectation as I booked the more premium room type. Near to the hot spring, can give it a try, but nothing much in the hot spring for the price you pay.

Our stay was fantastic. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The only issue was the disability parking space. It really was not large enough to accomodate a person with a disability. Exiting the car was very tight due to the proximity of the next car. If one had a wheelchair on the roof that dropped down the Soave available was no were near adequate. This issue may need to ne addressed.

I had a one night stay while working in the beautiful Warrnambool area last week. Great motel within a caravan park. Room was clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Room was nice and warm on arrival. The little box of sweet treats was a really nice touch. Highly recommended 😊

We stayed in Unit 2, one of the front units. I agree with all the positive aspects of the reviews I read, that it was well maintained, clean, well furnished and felt very homey and welcoming. However the stairs that led from upstairs to downstairs had a sharp turn from bedroom to the top of the stairs while also going down a step or two and the problem was not that, it was that the handrail didn't reach all the way to the first step, it was short by quite a bit. This meant that you had to step down and turn down the stairs without a rail to hang onto - the rail didn't appear until the 3rd or so step, and I had to bend down to reach it, while descending. A small additional handrail on the stair bend would solve this problem. We also failed to pay attention to the reviews about the noise at the front of the apartments, so failed to ask for an apartment at the back. Big mistake. Double glazing would fix this problem easily. We saw the owner/manager present on the property doing some sweeping etc from time to time but they didn't care to make eye contact or say good morning on any of the occasions, so it felt quite unfriendly which was at odds with the cosiness of the apartments. I'd stay again if I could be assured of a rear apartment with safe handrails on the stairs.

I feel very safe and welcome at the Best Western Olde Maritime Motor Inn, the restaurant is excellent, beautiful meals. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The location is great to allow for a walk along the beach or a swim. I look forward to next visit soon.

This hotel misrepresented its booking. We arrived on New Year’s Eve and after check in discovered the pool they had featured on their website and partner websites (when we booked) had been decommissioned. When we asked about dining in we were told the restaurant was being remodeled and was not open to guests. An hour later the restaurant was being set up for a private NYE party with a fully stocked bar, tables, music, etc with no sign of any remodeling. We specifically chose this place for these two amenities given mobility issues, and we were charged a higher rate than other places regardless. The staff was rude at check in and lied to us. The room was Dingy w a worn out uncomfortable mattress and no duvet cover..just a sheet wrapped around the comforter which can’t be good with Covid. It was so dusty and dirty you could see the dust caked on the ceiling fan in the bathroom and on the cabinet shelves in the “kitchenette”. Shameful all around. Don’t stay here.

Mitchell was friendly & well presented. The modern style to the Family Suites was a welcoming entrance on arrival, with such a spacious king size room. Great to have a separate room for kids. The extra large shower was divine, good pressure (best ever for a motel), plenty of supply of shampoo, body wash, soap and flannels and the towels were so fluffy. The room was immaculately clean and had all amenities as listed. Parking was available on a first in first serve basis, but one for every room. Overall, a great little gem!
