Staff were excellent and professional helpful a must stay will definitely be staying again .. Again staff were the greatest after a long drive we were allowed to our room early . Staff so accommodating words cannot express the pressures the staff lifted of us when we arrived .. Stayed at a few hotels on our travel along Victoria coast but this one stood out leaps and bounds Again thank you Deep blue hotel and hot Springs.

Our stay was fantastic. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The only issue was the disability parking space. It really was not large enough to accomodate a person with a disability. Exiting the car was very tight due to the proximity of the next car. If one had a wheelchair on the roof that dropped down the Soave available was no were near adequate. This issue may need to ne addressed.

We stayed in Unit 2, one of the front units. I agree with all the positive aspects of the reviews I read, that it was well maintained, clean, well furnished and felt very homey and welcoming. However the stairs that led from upstairs to downstairs had a sharp turn from bedroom to the top of the stairs while also going down a step or two and the problem was not that, it was that the handrail didn't reach all the way to the first step, it was short by quite a bit. This meant that you had to step down and turn down the stairs without a rail to hang onto - the rail didn't appear until the 3rd or so step, and I had to bend down to reach it, while descending. A small additional handrail on the stair bend would solve this problem. We also failed to pay attention to the reviews about the noise at the front of the apartments, so failed to ask for an apartment at the back. Big mistake. Double glazing would fix this problem easily. We saw the owner/manager present on the property doing some sweeping etc from time to time but they didn't care to make eye contact or say good morning on any of the occasions, so it felt quite unfriendly which was at odds with the cosiness of the apartments. I'd stay again if I could be assured of a rear apartment with safe handrails on the stairs.

Had the pleasure of an overnight stay over the weekend. We were greeted by friendly reception and given keys to our room. Room 103 was very comfortable, clean, a modern bathroom and with complimentary toiletries. The location was excellent and parking easy on site. Was pleasantly surprised about how really comfortable our room would be. Would we return? Yes definitely.

Mitchell was friendly & well presented. The modern style to the Family Suites was a welcoming entrance on arrival, with such a spacious king size room. Great to have a separate room for kids. The extra large shower was divine, good pressure (best ever for a motel), plenty of supply of shampoo, body wash, soap and flannels and the towels were so fluffy. The room was immaculately clean and had all amenities as listed. Parking was available on a first in first serve basis, but one for every room. Overall, a great little gem!

nice comfortable bed and clean room, great views, the advertised laundry facility in every room wasn't there, there was a cupboard in the wardrobe but the door was locked and a shelf was in front of it so I assume that was once the laundry. The carpet outside the lift on the fourth floor where we were was ripped and threadbare. The place needs a bit of an overhaul, outside the doors to the rear carpark there were tiles lifting and broken. Made the place look shabby. The staff were pretty friendly and the restaurant food was excellent. It was a 2 minute walk to the hot springs and spa so that was great we took advantage of that. I would probably stay again as the location was good but I hope next time to see it in better shape.

The room appeared to be clean which was great. It always bothers me when accommodation establishments don’t put quilts into the quilt covers, the thought of someone else touching that quilt while sleeping or doing anything else creeps me out. I figure it’s not hard to actually use the quilt cover?! The room and facilities were very average and overpriced, however for one night and if desperate (as we were), it will do.

New Owners and just renovated! Building has been painted inside and out. New furniture and has been tastefully done. Pricing was good and had netflix on the TV. No restaurant at this motel but plenty to eat with in a block of motel. Bed was comfortable. Only some street noise as location is on main street. Suggest asking for a room at the rear of building. Will stay here again though.

I haven't been here for about five years but stayed here again and again when on Business from 1999 to 2018. It was one of my favourite Motels. I have an upstairs room in the main building which i like less than the usual rooms downstairs. I have a bit of a dicky heart and don't enjoy climbing stairs...... I didn't request this so i will overlook it. One of the truly great things about this Motel was the breakfast in the restaurant. I was informed at reception that they no longer do breakfasts. I was very disappointed. I was asked for a security deposit for the room and was a bit affronted by this as I have never been asked for this at any other motel. I'm on a company credit card with all my CC details through Bookings.com. The room is nice, although I'm sure they used to have foxtel and with the AFL starting tonight it would have been good to have. Previously, there was never a question of shopping around for accommodation when staying in Warrnambool. It was a ”given.” Mid City Motel. I know the motel used to be owned by ”Buckleys” a sporting organisation in Geelong. I wonder if there are new owners and therefore new policies and operating procedures. Suffice to say, the Motel didn't give me that VIP warm and fuzzy feeling they used to. It's not a usual Regional tariff, this is quite high and I was a little disappointed they don't seem to go that extra yard that made them stand out from the crowd in Warrnambool. :-)
