The hotel was beautiful. We arrived very late (and booked late) so there was an issue with finding the booking, but this was resolved promptly. The bathroom was a little smoky (non smoking room). We informed staff in the morning, they were very apologetic and said they would check the room for future guests. It was a trip for our anniversary and the hotel provided sparkling wine- a lovely touch! I would highly recommend. Central location, nice hotel, comfortable beds and friendly staff.

I stayed here for three nights last September. As Marriott platinum member, I was automatically upgraded to junior suite. Thank you! This property is stunning! It’s a former palace and I feel like I was a royal. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. The property is only 5 minutes walk from old town Warsaw. I simply love this property and has booked my 2024 visit to Warsaw in this property.

At beginning I’d like to say that it’s in the quite good location. Easy to walk to the center or catch some bus. Biedronka on the ground floor also useful. Staff very friendly and helpful, tower A has a 24-hour reception. I chose the room ”Superior”, at first glance it looked great, however, after a closer look you can notice some tiny cracks in the wall and tiny scuffs on the wall. Kitchen basic equipped, countertop in one place cracked (MDF laminate), you can already see the tooth of time in this room. Cabinets don’t close properly (hinge torn out), on the plus side, washing machine (but no powder/capsules) and dishwasher (one capsule for a stay of 3d day), which was held on one screw in the cabinet, sometimes there was an unpleasant smell from under the sink. Living room nice, TV a little old, but has many channels even foreign, sofa comfortable. As for the bathroom, there is nothing to complain about, nice, there was gel and hot water, only the white towels had small red spots(maybe some lipstick?). The bedroom is also in good condition, fresh bedding, TV, the only problem was the hard touching door and the non-functioning led behind the bed. In summary, certainly on the plus side air conditioning in the living room and bedroom, cleanliness of the bathroom, friendly staff, free wifi. On the other hand, the downsides that I remember the most are the problem with the bedroom door(probably fell on the hinges) and problems with the cabinets in the kitchen - torn out hinge and (ATTENTION!) failure to meet the deadline for returning the deposit, I had to wait a whole month (only after not accepting the transaction, the bank reversed the payment)! I also wrote an e-mail about this, but did not receive a reply.

What a lovely apartment full of extra special, unexpected details like rope and jewel ties and fragrance sheets in the towels, an iPad for your use in the living room, washer/dryer combo in the bathroom, nice toiletries with a nice mix of antiques and more modern furniture and the view from all three windows of Old Town Market Square! The bed was soft and really comfortable. The heaters worked well and were appreciated after long days out walking the streets of Warsaw. You know what they say about location! This condo couldn’t be in a better location right in old town market square with its many restaurants and shops, a small grocery store around the corner and a short walk to Royal Square. Our host recommended a very small family run restaurant, Portretowa, around the corner for pierogi and it was good. The restaurant we really enjoyed though was just a couple of doors down from the condo tucked away in a beautiful old wine cellar with original brick ceiling that was striking. The food and service was so good that we went two evenings for dinner! Try Restauracja Kuchnia Warszawska at Rynek 21 for their upscale Polish dishes at reasonable prices. There is no elevator in the building due to building restrictions in old town. Our apartment was on the first floor of the building. Not a problem for us. We stayed two nights, so additional cleaning of the already spotless apartment wasn’t necessary. I don’t believe it is good for children since there are delicate breakable treasures in glass front cabinets. I would be afraid of breakage. Best for couples or solo travelers. Communication with our host, Laura was the best I’ve had with any host. She arranged an Ecocar to pick us up from the airport at the perfect, on the minute time only achievable by her knowledge of the airport and how it works. She greeted us in front of the building on arrival and showed us around the apartment, gave us restaurant recommendations and greeted us wholeheartedly. Laura checked on us by text to see if we needed anything and then met us at the apartment (on her day off!) at our departure to bid us goodby, promising to send us more photos of the Christmas market below when it is in full swing. I feel like we made a good friend in Warsaw! I highly recommend any Mondrian property in Warsaw because I know you will be well taken care of in an exceptional property, great location and a very personal touch by Laura!

My name is Andrea Barron, from Washington DC. I want to congratulate Castle Inn for the outstanding customer service I have received from the time I reserved a room on the phone until the day I left. I stayed here for 6 nights during my wonderful 12 day trip to Poland. Edyta, Magda, Amelia and Linda made me feel I was a VIP staying in a 5 star hotel. They helped me make train reservations, scheduled a covid test for me before flying home, gave me a heater to make sure I was warm, and did it all efficiently, professionally and with a big smile.  This was my first trip to Poland, where my Jewish grandparents and great- grandparents fled from over 100 years ago, escaping poverty and anti-Semitism. I loved my experience here and will definitely return, and a big reason is because of the Castle Inn staff.  My room was nice, breakfast was delicious and the location is superb, across from the Castle. But Edyta, Magda, Amelia and Linda are why I will come back to Warsaw and to this hotel. Already looking forward to my next visit.

Das Hostel liegt wirklich super und direkt an der Altstadt. Die nächste Bushaltestelle ist etwa 200m entfernt. Bis Warschau Centralna läuft man etwa 40 Minuten oder man nimmt eben den Bus oder die Metro. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man bekommt Tipps zum Essen und zu Aktivitäten. Zudem wird vom Hostel mittwochs bis sonntags abends immer Programm angeboten. Im Garten/Terrasse kann man leicht andere Reisende kennenlernen. Wir waren in einem Doppelzimmer und das war eigentlich echt schön. Es war sauber und hatte einen Schrank und Dusche und WC. Leider war der Wasserdruck im dritten Stockwerk sehr gering und die Matratze schon etwas durchgelegen. Essen gibt es im hostel abgesehen von snacks nicht, dafür aber einige Getränke. Die Küche ist sehr sauber und hat weitgehend alles, was man braucht. Ebenfalls hilfreich ist der Aufzug, wenn man Gepäck mitbringt. Alles in allem trotz der zwei kleinen „Mängel“ sehr zu empfehlen. Ich würde es wieder buchen.
