Hotel 2 Bintang di Warsaw

I stayed for 2 nights in a 4-bed room. Staff were nice and helpful and the lady at the reception desk in my second day of stay allowed me to change the bed from above bunk to the bottom one. I used the indoor seating area to take a nap after I left my bag in the free luggage room as I arrived 2 hours early for the check in time. While the hostel is near to the central bus and train station, the old center and the major attractions are a little bit far from the hostel around 25 to 30 minutes walk. Number of bathrooms/toilets is very few and its cleanliness is not the best thing. In my next visit I will probably stay at another hostel.

Hotel Twins is situated in a quiet area, 15 kilometres from the centre of Warsaw. The rooms offer satellite TV and an en-suite bathroom. There is free WiFi in public areas and a free on-site car park. Twins hotel has a bar and a restaurant serving excellent cuisine. There are also barbecue facilities on site. After a long day, you can relax in the Twins' games room or with a massage. There is a quiet garden at your disposal. The hotel staff can help organize conferences, meetings and family events. Warsaw Central Railway Station is 10 km away while Chopin International Airport is 25 km away. The property is located 1 km from Skłodowskiej-Curie Bridge. There are tennis courts within 100 metres of the property. A gym is 200 metres away. The nearest shopping centre and cinema is 5 km away.

My first ever time solo travelling and my first time in a hostel! I’m so glad I chose this one! The staff were excellent and really helpful! Everywhere was spotless! Bathroom was very clean and was cleaned daily! Plenty of activities that the hostel organise for people to go along to if they please! Opportunity to do free tours and museums which can be found on a big black board! Really great times and great memories made! 100% recommend

Wouldn’t let me change my reservation by 1 day **despite the reservation being months away**. Sure the policy is non-refundable, but apparently that also means unreasonable. Stingy, inflexible hostel that will go to great lengths to not be accommodating, and rather inconvenience you. Would recommend anywhere else. The manager complained to me saying it was unfair to review their hostel before staying with them, but the experience of dealing with a property is what makes or breaks the overall experience at a hostel. Dealing with this hostel has been an absolute headache. I hope fellow travelers take this as a warning to how painful dealing with this property is, and just know that they don't really care to make your experience working with them a good one. As you can see by their, another manager has complained to me about leaving a poor review. They say their policy said non-refundable, and the policy of no modification was NOT clearly stated, although it was only deep in the fine print. Also they lied and said a free cancellation option was available, but the only options were non-refundable. I've attached an image showing that they do not offer non-refundable rates, and that their ”no modification” policy is not clearly stated. And also, their tone may sound nice, but I've attached a screenshot of the booking conversation where they are much less professional (which was also Wiktoria). They keep asking me for respect, but what respectful property would lie and talk to their guests this way?

What a nice surprise. We stopped here on our way from UK to bordeux, and we found a Very nice and friendly hotel, super cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Loved the decoration!!! The food was food and tasty with enough portions. I will recommend to family and friends!

The stay on the basement level was generally a good one in an 8-bed dorm room spacious enough to move around (with also a ”long table” in the middle), and yes the bathroom (ensuite) came with like a nice-sized area of sinks & mirrors; and the ”common area” on the main floor is also a pretty nice hangout area (although just in the dining room of that area briefly during my 2-night stay). And as for the convenience of food & some other essentials, there's a ”small-but-well-stocked” grocery shop just across the street, then to the right and just about a 5-minute walk is a Vietnamese restaurant (for my ”main meals” with a ”nice variety” of delicious items to choose from), then about another 5-minute walk after that restaurant is a McDonald's (for breakfasts during my stay). And also not having to walk too far from this hostel by going the same way to the McDonald's as just mentioned followed by a right turn and for about another 15-minute walk is a straight way to the Castle Square & the Royal Castle (a ”great interior” of both a palace & a museum for a worthwhile visit).

Такого унижения я не испытывал никогда. Выбрал его из-за удобного расположения + хорошие отзывы в интернете (теперь сомневаюсь в их подлинности) и забронировал один из самых дорогих номеров на время нашего пребывания в Варшаве. Заранее написал в хостел для уточнения вопросов о необходимых документах с описанием кто мы и откуда, а также, каким образом собираемся приехать. В ответ получил письмо где было указано что достаточно одного из двух документов: или вакцина или ПЦР тест, что все ок, ждём вас с нетерпением. Приехали в 10 вечера и тут нас ожидал сюрприз: они отказались нас регистрировать и заселять оперируя какими-то нормами и документами, которые нам так и не показали, что нам необходима исключительно европейская вакцина для проживания в хостеле. Не моргнув глазом сотрудница хостела выставила нас на улицу ночью, невзирая на то, что мы показали их ответ о том, что достаточно ПЦР теста. При этом отказались отменять бронь и сказали писать по этому поводу менеджеру, а позвонить они не могу, так как уже было поздно... Т.е. выставить нас под надуманным предлогом в чужом нам городе было не поздно, а менеджеру было звонить и беспокоить по их прямым рабочим обязанностям было поздно... С трудом через пару часов мы нашли отель со свободным номером и заселились (если честно я уже думал что придется ночевать на улице). На следующий день мы вернулись туда чтобы встретиться с менеджером, однако нам опять сказали что его нет, якобы находится на второй работе, и звонить ему они не будут. В этот момент пришло сообщение что наша бронь аннулирована, так как мы якобы не явились на регистрацию во время. Деньги за бронирование нам отказались возвращать хотя тариф был стандартным. Крайне неприятная ситуация, какое-то мошенничество с их стороны получается. Надеюсь никому не придется с столкнуться с такой ситуацией. Никакой человечности, никакого гостеприимства.

The bathrooms were not clean. I had to move rooms and both of the bathrooms smelled like pee. There was dirty brown colour stains around where the toilet paper was on the wall. Otherwise the bed and the rest of the rooms were all right. Their instant coffee was a life saviour.

The hotel location isn't great and the building itself isn't inviting, It looks more like a dorm. The reception area is confusing, as dining area, pub counter, billiard table are together next to reception desk. From the entrance you have a feeling this isn't a business hotel, it's more a workers hostel vibe. I'm glad I didn't include breakfast and decided to eat elsewhere. The room was run-down and not very clean. The remote control was so gross, I had to clean it before use it. No kettle or cups/glass included, very bad quality toilet paper. The staff was ok. Wifi worked. And surprisingly is was quiet even though the window was next to the highway. I wouldn’t go back.

The Hostel is located near many good restaurants, convenience stores and bars which is perfect to make an exploration base in Warsaw and relax in the evening. The check in was smooth and easy but there are instructions for after hours because the front desk is not always attended - this includes codes for doors and how to check out if you are leaving very early We booked the queen room and a room with a bunk bed and a single bed. All rooms were quiet and had comfy beds with good pillows. We were supplied with towels but no soap/shampoo but luckily it seems that previous guests left behind some body wash. The queen room was on the fourth floor and did not have a private bathroom but did have a bathroom shared between a few rooms. The queen room was also without coverings for the window and was a bit stuffy - to solve this we draped a blanket over the window and kept it open to keep it cool. Our family stayed in a room with the bunk bed and had a private bathroom and curtains but all bathrooms were a little smelly (from the drains). The bathroom smell issue was easily resolved by keeping the door shut. The hostel has a good common area with a kitchen and many showers and toilets on the main floor of the hostel. The hostel staff appear to be able to arrange tours or make suggestions but we were on our way out of Warsaw so we didn't test this. The hostel has door codes to access the building and the floors with rooms so it felt quite safe. We also appreciated that they had an elevator here which made it very accessible. The public transport system make it very convenient to get around Warsaw and rideshares are inexpensive in Poland. We enjoyed walking and had no issues getting to major attractions in Poland like the Warsaw Uprising Museum, the Palace of Culture and Science, the old town area and many nice gardens and squares. We got a good night's rest here.
