One of a kind! Great location (right next to GWU! and subway station), really friendly staff, neat room with customized decor. All in all highly recommend!

The Hive micro hotel offers all you need for a quick visit to DC. Walking distance to the National Mall and various restaurants, comfortable bed, nice large bathroom.  Staff were all friendly, helpful and amazing. The plants throughout the lobby made this micro hotel feel homey.

We had a great stay at Hotel Hive! The room was small but it had everything my Huband and I needed. It was in a great location for us because we were there to see the White House. The staff was friendly, the bar was affordable and the pizza in the restaurant was delicious! We would definitely stay there again.

perfect stay! we stayed on the 4th floor, little bit of above noise from ceiling but everything was amazing! rooftop is gorgeous and even the room was very micro it had everything we needed

Super small and loud rooms… I could hear every single word my neighbours said. I would never consider going back to this place. Also some rooms are in the basement

The hotel is not your typical dimension but it was clean and the mattress + pillows are one of the best I have slept on. The location was good as it was close to Metro, White House, Lincoln memorial, and Georgetown (walking around 20 mins). There is also a Metro station close by. However, it’s far away from the convention center though, you will need to take a taxi or Uber to get there. The one suggestion I have is to provide kettle for hot water in the room as well as bottle waters. Most of the reception reps are very helpful and cheerful, only the grave yard shift reception lady is not in a good mood (I know it’s grave yard shift…but). The elevator needs some improvement as well since it’s very slow… (I’m not sure it’s because of the elevator manufacturer or because of the old building).

Staff went above and beyond to help us with our trip. Our only complaint is that the room was small. Would stay here again.

Everything was great. The location, the front desk staff, and the cleanliness of the room. I was traveling to Washington DC alone, but the lights were on around the hotel even late at night, so I didn't feel too scared. I didn't have a chance to use the restaurant (bar?) on the first floor, but I'll definitely book this hotel again the next time I visit Washington DC! :)

The location is close to the White House and next to George Washington University. The white building is beautiful, the service is good, the mattress and pillows are very comfortable, I will stay here again next time!!

It's about 10 minutes away from the subway and not far from the attractions. The room is clean, tidy and comfortable. The space is not big, but it's acceptable. You can store your luggage for free and the service is pretty good

This is a hotel where you can stay at a good price in a good location in DC. The space is a bit small, but it has everything you need, the staff is very friendly, and it is located next to a school, so it is safe. The nearest station is Foggy-Bottom Station, which takes about 7-8 minutes on foot, and it is easy to access the surrounding area by foot, so it is very good for travelers. There is also a Whole-Foods market nearby, so it is good for buying light snacks. The only (big) disadvantage is that there is no refrigerator in the room... It looked very clean, so I was relieved, but when I woke up on the first day, there was a barman on the wall..ㅜㅜ I mustered up the courage to kill him, and he was not found the next time, so I was able to stay at ease. It was an overall satisfactory stay that offset the disadvantages:)) And although the music from the bar can be heard until late at night, it was not enough to disturb the stay, and the soundproofing between rooms was much better than expected (maybe there were no other guests?! ㅎㅎ)
