"It was a fantastic experience. The kids loved staying in the cabin, seeing lots of small animals in the garden, and collecting pine cones. When it rained, we could retreat back into the cabin to rest or relax in the guesthouse's café. Once the rain stopped, we'd come out and continue exploring. The food at the guesthouse was delicious, and they even had activities like roasting marshmallows and making ice cream in the evenings—perfect for a summer vacation."

She added me on WeChat a day in advance to understand our needs and meticulously followed up throughout our entire stay, from check-in to check-out. She proactively shared park攻略 (play guides/tips) and reminded us of various operating hours, which made our trip incredibly stress-free. The weather was too cold these past two days, so we didn't explore much beyond a quick trip to MixC. We'll definitely come back when it's warmer!"

"The environment here is fantastic; it's a guesthouse that just opened in 2025. The rooms are simply and tastefully decorated, clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The disposable toiletries are also of very high quality. For breakfast, a delicious meal including fruit and coffee is delivered to your room every morning. The ingredients are fresh and healthy, and everything is beautifully presented. I especially want to thank the owner, who was incredibly warm and helpful. To make it easier for us to explore the Lingyin Scenic Area, they even lent us an electric scooter for free. On a weekend when traffic was difficult, the owner thoughtfully drove us out of the scenic area to a place where it was easier to catch a taxi. Before we left, they even gave us gifts like tea. It was truly a heartwarming travel experience, and I'll definitely choose this guesthouse again next time! Highly recommended!"

"The overall experience at Xiangye Ersheng·Dongmingshan B&B was quite disappointing, severely mismatched with its brand positioning and price level, and completely failing to meet the service standards expected of a high-quality resort B&B. The following specific issues were particularly prominent: First, the room cleaning service was extremely perfunctory. After a long day of travel, we wanted to rest well, so we slept in on the second day, only contacting room service around 3 PM. However, the outsourced cleaning staff were extremely dismissive, constantly complaining that they ”finish at 4 PM” and repeatedly showing impatience. When we explicitly requested a change of sheets and duvet covers, they repeatedly asked, ”Can we not change them?” using their closing time as an excuse to shirk responsibility, demonstrating a severe lack of service awareness. Second, the front desk manager's handling of problems was not only inefficient but also childish and ridiculous. In the evening, while watching TV in our room, we were repeatedly disturbed by screen mirroring from the next room. After complaining to the manager, they said, ”We can't do anything about it,” and offered the absurd ”solution” of ”suggesting you stop watching TV.” Ultimately, we had to identify the source of the problem ourselves and contact management to resolve it; the butler service was practically nonexistent. Furthermore, the quality control of room facilities was clearly inadequate. The bathroom door was loosely installed and wobbled precariously. After showering that evening, the entire bathroom floor was completely soaked, likely due to a faulty sealing strip. We had to use four bath towels to absorb the water. We tried to contact the front desk for more towels and to wash up again, but were told that ”the butler has already left work” and could not provide any assistance, leaving guests to fend for themselves. A basic problem-solving mechanism was completely absent. While the natural environment of Xiangye Ersheng·Dongmingshan B&B is acceptable, this stay experience fell far short of the service quality expected at its price point. As a B&B that touts itself as a branded resort, its serious shortcomings in service training, emergency response, and facility maintenance make it difficult to accept its value proposition."

"Very nice new homestay, new facilities, cozy room, big floor-to-ceiling windows with great views. The location is the best in the village, occupying the corner of the mountain with beautiful scenery. The courtyard is very cozy, with many public areas, chess and cards, and karaoke. The meals are arranged according to the meal, the price is very affordable, the dishes are exquisite and delicious, no need to go out to find a restaurant, make a reservation with the boss in advance before you arrive. "Overall stay was nice in the hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast had many western and Chinese options, which were good. Our package included indoor hot-spring experience which was suitable considering the cold weather outside. Only disappointment was 'Nausicaa of the Wind Tour Ticket' which was included in the package while booking from trip.com. In trip.com under package details it was mentioned that it was a scenic stop/park and we thought entry to that place is free but additional rides are payable. This information was absolutely misleading as after wasting lot of time, the information we received (after calling the provided contact number, talking with Hotel staff) was 'Nausicaa of the Wind Tour Ticket' was not located in or nearby the hotel but was in a totally far-off place. No clear information was provided by calling the contact number on how to use the offer as mentioned in trip.com booked package description. Either trip.com should remove that offer or provide a clear description about the location of that place, with pictures if possible, otherwise people will feel lucrative about the offer and go for the booking which actually is misleading."

The boss sent a check-in message early, etc., and also helped worry about the way I returned to the train station.
