"Hotel Review – Absolutely Worthwhile Stay I had a fantastic stay and honestly have nothing bad to say. The whole experience felt smooth, clean, and genuinely relaxing. My husband and I spent a couple of days there celebrating my birthday. Spa & Facilities The spa was amazing. It’s a no-shoe area, so you can walk around barefoot, in socks, or use the shoes they provide. It was spotlessly clean, and we had access to all the sauna and stone rooms. Our room had a private hot tub, which was a highlight, and the massages were both reasonably priced and excellent. Rooms & Service The staff spoke English and went out of their way to make sure we understood everything and felt comfortable. One thing to note: there aren’t shelves or cupboards in the rooms, but they provide hooks and hangers. That’s because they supply spa clothes for guests, so you don’t need much closet space. Your shoes are kept in lockers inside the hotel. You can put the on and take them off before you enter and exit the hotel. Location & Convenience It’s close to Disney, and they run a bus to and from Disneyland. The departure time is a bit early, but you can have an early breakfast beforehand if you book a room with breakfast included. The wristband system makes everything easy and affordable — meals, games, and other extras all get charged directly to your room. Extras for Everyone There’s plenty to do on-site: billiards, Nintendo games, arcade room, movies, and several kid-friendly areas. They also have an in-house restaurant with snack bars, ice cream, drinks, and sweets. Designated smoking areas are available too. Overall, it was a really relaxing and well-organized getaway. Great for families and couples alike. Highly recommend it if you want a clean, comfortable, and convenient stay near Disney."

"This hotel is very nice and new as just opened in Jan 2026. It is about half an hour drive from Pudong Airport. The hotel provides shuttle pick up & drop off at airport but service runs every 2 hours. It also provides shuttle to Disneyland , 3 trips every morning. It will take about 50 mins by didi to Nanjing Pedestrian Road.  The staff are friendly and helpful."

"Booked this hotel specifically for Disney and the experience exceeded expectations. The room is clean and tidy, there is no dead corner of hygiene, and it is very comfortable to stay. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of dishes to satisfy different tastes. The most thoughtful thing is that there is a free shuttle bus from Disney, so you don't have to worry about planning your own journey. The surrounding facilities are mature, it is very convenient to eat and take a taxi, and the location is excellent. Highly recommended for a family or group trip. This hotel is a great choice for a Disney trip. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the attention to detail is exceptional. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, just right for a good start. The hotel provides a free shuttle to and from Disney, which saves money and worry. The surrounding environment is excellent, there are many restaurants, there are many choices to eat, and it is very convenient to take a taxi at the door. Full marks for the overall experience, great value for money and will stay here again next time I visit Disney."

"The hotel looks cozy outside, it has cats, they all live on the hotel area and it’s really cute! The stuff is also very nice and friendly, ready to help. But it feels like the hotel needs some small renovations, even the bed and floor. Unfortunately, there is bad sound isolation between rooms, so you can clearly hear your neighbors. Sometimes they are a little bit noisy. Also early morning there are some people selling something on the street and you can hear them even with the closed windows. The breakfast is truly Chinese but I liked it! The location is also good, the Disneyland is super close and also you need to spend no more than 25 min to go to the airport. I consider this hotel to be the average one, it can be a little bit better. But for this price that’s okay🙏🏼"

"Fantastic, family-friendly hotel with exceptional amenities and service! We had a highly pleasant and happy stay at the Shanghai Rezen Garden Hotel from May 31st to June 3rd. It is an incredibly convenient and family-friendly place to stay, especially for foreign travelers. The Room: Our room was very large, spotlessly clean, and featured convenient automatic curtains and toilets. It also included a comfortable sofa bed, which easily accommodated our family. The hotel thoughtfully provided kid-sized slippers and toothbrushes, which was a lovely touch. The main bed was quite spacious, though the mattress comfort level could be slightly improved. Additionally, the shower head spray was a bit too strong for young children, so a softer pressure option would be a great upgrade. The Food: The breakfast buffet offers a wonderful spread of both traditional Chinese and international options. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the menu, and a huge plus for families is that breakfast is free for children under 1.3 meters! I personally highly recommend the cream puffs and fresh soy milk—they were absolutely delicious. The Amenities (A Huge Plus!): The amenities here are superb! Having a supermarket right inside the hotel was a major highlight for us as foreigners; it quickly became our go-to spot for daily breads, drinks, and snacks. On top of that, there is a great souvenir shop on Level 1 that sells Disney merchandise (perfect if you want to grab a Disney hat or last-minute gifts) and they even provide stroller rentals, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel also features an indoor playground with unlimited access for the kids. This gave us a much-needed breather to relax in the lobby and organize our daily itinerary while the children were happily entertained. Furthermore, the lobby hosts a helpful tour agent and coordinates multi-destination shuttles that make us want to return on our next trip to Shanghai. To top it off, the 24-hour Chinese restaurant serves delicious food delivered right to your room by a robot, which the kids absolutely loved. The Service: Truly awesome. The coordination for the airport, Disney, and zoo shuttles was seamless. The cleaning auntie was incredibly kind and proactively provided extra bottled water for our family. A special shout-out to the front desk team: I forgot my vitamins, and they went above and beyond by helping me purchase them via ******* and delivering them to my room-door in less than 45mins. I appreciated this so much! Overall, we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this hotel to families visiting Shanghai!"

"We had such an amazing experience at this Disney hotel, and I truly feel like this property deserves every bit of praise. My husband, our 6 kids, and I traveled all the way from Orlando, Florida in America, and after such a big trip, staying somewhere this welcoming, clean, and well-run meant so much to us. From the moment we arrived, the staff made such a strong impression on me. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly kind, welcoming, patient, and genuinely helpful. It did not feel fake or forced at all, it felt like they truly cared about making sure our stay was comfortable and special. One thing I really want to mention is that even with us traveling from America, the language barrier was honestly not hard at all when dealing with the staff. That was something I truly appreciated. Everyone was so kind, so patient, and so willing to help that communication never felt stressful. They made everything feel easy and comfortable, and that meant a lot, especially traveling with a big family and small children. No matter what we needed, they did their best to help us understand and made sure we felt taken care of. That level of effort, patience, and kindness goes a very long way, and they really made us feel welcome. The staff went above and beyond in so many little ways, and those things really added up. Any time I had a question, needed help, or wasn’t sure about something, someone was there with a smile, ready to help without hesitation. That kind of service stands out, especially when you are traveling with family, and it made such a huge difference for us. They were not just “nice” .They were the kind of staff that makes you stop and think, wow, these people really care. You can feel when people are just doing a job, and you can also feel when people are truly making an effort to give guests a great experience. This staff absolutely did that. Now let me talk about the cleanliness, because honestly this is one of the cleanest hotel properties and rooms I have ever seen in my life. I do not say that lightly. The moment we walked in, everything looked absolutely spotless. Not just tidy, not just “good enough,” but truly immaculate. The room looked fresh, polished, and cared for in a way that is hard to explain unless you see it for yourself. Every surface looked pristine. The floors were clean, the bathroom was shining, the bedding felt fresh and perfectly maintained, and the entire room gave that rare feeling of being deeply, properly cleaned. There was not that uneasy hotel feeling some places have where you start wondering what has or has not really been cleaned. This place felt the complete opposite. It felt sanitized, refreshed, and cared for to the highest standard. The room was so clean that it immediately made us feel comfortable enough to fully relax. When you are staying with children, cleanliness matters even more, and this hotel absolutely exceeded expectations. I noticed the details, and the details matter. The bathroom was spotless, the beds looked crisp and fresh, the furniture was clean, the floors looked amazing, and the whole room felt like it had been cleaned with real care and pride. Even beyond the room itself, the entire property was unbelievably clean. That is what impressed me so much. Usually a hotel might have a nice room, but the hallways, common areas, elevators, or grounds do not always match that same level of care. Here, the cleanliness was consistent everywhere. The entire property was beautifully maintained, and you could clearly tell that cleanliness is taken seriously at every level. Everything looked so well-kept, so polished, and so intentionally maintained that it honestly made the whole stay feel even more luxurious and relaxing. It is such a good feeling to be able to fully settle in and enjoy your stay without noticing dirt, neglect, or things being overlooked. This hotel gave us that peace of mind completely. You can tell there is real effort behind the scenes to keep ever"

"Vicky even not speak good english but she tried to explain us anything about hotel facilities. Hotel is beautiful from the moment you enter the gate. But not many can speak english. Ordered the afternoon’s tea chinese tea set it quite good bir pricey but taste good. Have not have time to try the dinner suppose must be good. Regards Angelly"

"We had a pleasant stay at this accommodation, especially if your main goal is visiting Disneyland. One of the biggest perks is the complimentary one-way transfer to Disneyland provided for each night of your stay, which made getting there incredibly easy and stress-free. The location is also very convenient—just about a 10-minute drive to the park. The room itself was quite large with a decent amount of space, making it comfortable to relax after a long day out. However, the bathroom could be improved, as the shower area isn’t well separated, which tends to cause some splashing into the other area after use. Breakfast is simple but sufficient to start the day, with options like plain porridge, sandwiches, eggs, bao, and corn. While it’s not a lavish spread, it covers the basics well. The room I stayed in was on the third floor, so be prepared to carry your luggage up as there’s no lift. However, the staff were very kind and helpful, and I really appreciated the assistance offered with my bags. There isn’t much around the accommodation in terms of shops or attractions, but if you’re planning to spend most of your time at Disneyland, the location works perfectly. Overall, it’s a practical and comfortable choice for a Disneyland-focused trip."

"Amazing location if you’re planning a trip to Disneyland and heading back via Pudong airport. The distance isn’t too far and very convenient! As it’s located in a less urban area, there isn’t anything to shop or eat nearby, but you can easily order and have food delivered within an hour. If you’re a cat lover as well, this is the place for you. The cats are super friendly and cute! Check in wise is super convenient and the staff will assist you, they give speedy responses and suggestions! Room wise - clean, spacious and definitely good to unpack all your goodies from the Disney trip. Also love how it’s a projection so you can easily watch shows/movies to wrap up the night. Overall this was an amazing stay and would definitely recommend everyone to try out since it’s so close to Disneyland (10-15 mins ride)."
