Our check-in and out was easy, very nice staff. We have stayed here previously and had always had an above average experience, this time we found the hotel dirty and rooms not cleaned to other Delta/Marriott standards. We understand that due to the pandemic staffing shortages have occurred, and this may be the case here. The room was a king sized bed, nice shower/bathroom set up. The pool was busy and the hot tub closed, also the gym appeared closed as well, likely due to COVID restrictions. The main issue was the lack of vaccuming, old nail clippings on the floor and dirt visible. The dresser was very dirty inside so we laid the drycleaning bag under our belongings. There was tape on the ceiling, not sure what that was about. We would stay here again, I am not sure I would seek it out as we did before. Very convenient location to restaurants and shopping.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The place was clean, and the bedroom, washroom, and sheets were spotless. The front desk staff was professional and courteous. I really recommend this hotel ********

Very disappointed. When the TV had no reception at 11:30, I called the front desk 3 times after and no one answered. They use Covid as an excuse for no breakfast sitting, and no hot tub. The breakfast was a VERY POOR effort. Basically just yogurts, crummy eggs, potatoes and a small selection of fruits. No meats, no cheese, no breads, no cereals. (and black single-use plastic utensils.) In the room there were stains on the carpet and no tissues. The alarm in the unoccupied next room went off at 4:30 and I had to call twice to get it turned off. It then went off again 30 minutes later at 5:00. There was no apology upon our departure and no offer of refund. Reasonably friendly staff, but I would never stay here again.

We hard a large group and this was the perfect hotel. Room are well appointed with Kitchen items (dishwasher with a pod, dish soap, containers, pots, pans, strainer, cutting board etc. Bathrooms have pumps for S&C, hand soap, cream and body wash. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast was great lots to choose from (Eggs, hashbrowns, waffles, bagels, bread, yogurt, bananas, apples, cereal, oatmeal... you will find something you like. They even have a great little store. I've never seen a hotel have so much selection like this. Was perfect when you we were running late for a game and you need Gatorade and some snacks. Pool was clean and nice, would like a hot tub but that's just me being picky. Even with a packed hotel.. it didn't feel like it. I've stayed at over 5 hotels in this area and hands down this is the best. It has everything and more. Paying a small bit extra was so very worth it.

I had an overnight stay here and while the staff were very friendly, the hotel lacked. It is located near a more industrial area so while there are nearby restaurants (Wendy’s, Tim’s, Ben Thanh, etc), it didn’t feel welcoming. When we visited, there was a hockey tournament happening and so most of the hotel rooms had kids and their parents. We ended up with a ground floor king suite that looked out to the parking lot. So, it was a long walk past the front desk, past the hotel laundry (and the smell of bleach), the cleaning supplies room, and hotel laundry before getting to our room. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious. It felt odd as when the curtains were open, we just saw cars parking and people coming and going. The floor had smalls bits of debris on it, so it clearly had not been vacuumed recently. That made me wonder about the cleanliness of other areas. They seemed clean, but if the floor was not done, then other areas could have been easily skipped too. Breakfast was the usual hotel buffet. The coffee was terrible, but the self-made waffles were good.

We went to this hotel as a team, after the hotel listed themselves as a ”preferred hotel for the tournament” Which is very confusing to me because they clearly do not want any families there as a group. The amount of times that security had interactions with a group of grown adults, was insane. During daylight hours (3:30-7:30pm) we were told to move locations, then we were then told to leave that area, several times. We tried to be respectful of other hotel guests by staying outside also because it was a gorgeous day, the staff told us we needed to go indoors to the lobby. Night two, we are putting our kids to bed and security wouldn't leave our floor. First they told us that we cannot sit quietly in the hall, just my husband and I at 7:45pm, we had to stand. So we stood up, 10 minutes later we were told we needed to get out of the hallway and go to the lobby because it's a walkway. We tried to explain to the guards that our kids are young and we would not be leaving the hotel room door, but that they cannot go to sleep with us sitting in there. There was a language barrier and after a bit more of a civil conversation, they proceeded to tell us that we would be charged for a noise complaint charge because apparently we had four warnings, we were unaware of the first two or three. The rooms are nice, hotel is new. The breakfast is terrible, eggs were like rubber. I will never understand why hotels that choose to be tournament hotels don't catch on to put us in an actual block of rooms to lessen any potential complaints from other guests. To top it all off, there were 3 homeless men that were in the bush at the back of the parking lot, they came into the lobby and were approaching some of our team girls who are between 11-13 years old, when security was asked about what was being done about this they said ”they had no idea but that they believed it to be okay, no police were called” Thankfully, we had a friend who is a SWAT officer onshift nearby, he came by to check it out and it turns out that all of these men have warrants out for their arrest. How unsettling for all of these parents with young kids, and it seems the hotel didn't think it was an issue.

The hotel is in a decent location, plenty of food options around. The room was standard, clean, bed was fine.. had a microwave and fridge. The breakfast was good for something quick to eat, the kids liked the cinnamon waffles. The only issue I had was with the older lady at the front desk. I tried to check in an hour early as my wife was not feeling well, she indicated no rooms were available. She stood in her office and behind a glass barrier. Even when I told her I had a hearing impairment she did not come to see me at the glass. She ended up finding us a room, thanks. The same woman was at checkout, we had asked for a 12 pm checkout as we were in a hockey tournament and our game was not until 4pm. She said ok but the maids kept knocking on our door and asked us to leave, when we called the front desk she changed her mind and said we had to be out at 11. I checked the booking for the next night and the hotel was empty. Don't tell us one thing and do another, really? I just found she put a sour taste in our mouth from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Poor management in my opinion.

It was great staying there. Staffs were nice, and the room was clean enough. I would love to stay again!
