Spent 3 days and nights at the property. The property stands as true as is possible to its name as it rests pretty much at the base of the Banasura Hill and has absolutely breathtaking views of both the titular hill and those adjacent (which is the first thing you see as you roll into the property). The entire property appears as though it's an extension of the natural environment it's nestled in, which gives it a really rustic feel. One however would feel pleasantly surprised though as you step into the property, to find it to be extremely tastefully done up, and supremely well appointed with any and all creature comforts that you might need while being forest adjacent. Have to highlight in particular how amazing the meals were (particularly lunches which had traditional Kerala fare). We occupied one of their Earth Rooms which we found to be exceedingly spacious yet cozy. The property has 3 to 4 variants of accommodation that are able to accommodate small and large party sizes alike. We found ourselves scrapping our sightseeing itinerary to hole up within the property itself, given that it sprawls so beautifully and the property itself offers each day guided trails through its tea gardens or view points, or the absolutely brilliant nature trail (which we hiked up and down atleast 3 times a day). This was aided by their ample offerings by way of activities both indoor and outdoor (table tennis, badminton, pool, chess, a reading nook even). In and around around short hikes to more forested parts, cute villages and waterfalls, among others. What made the experience the experience though was the Staff at the place. Most of them are property veterans with around a decade of tenure. They were so exceedingly knowledgeable, warm and gracious in how they hosted us - a big part of the reason why our stay felt so very enjoyable I'd highly recommend the place to any kind of traveller (be it friends, family looking to relax and rejuvenate or those looking at adventuring around). One of my most memorable stays at any place in the past, near or distant and I'm eager to have the chance to reprise the visit in the near future.

It was 10:30 pm and I chose this hotel just because makemytrip showed their is a mini fridge in the room so that i can keep my medicines in fridge and can keep some water to get cold so that i can have it on midnight when acidity comes. 4100/- i spent on a room for 1 night. But the mini fridge was not working. No cold air was coming. I complained multiple times to them but receptionist said it is like that they cant do anything. I complained on makemytrip and they said will refund 400 rs as voucher. I lost money, my medicines got ruined, midnight i was calling n complaining so that i lost my sleep too. Disappointed. Highly disappointed. I will not recommend this hotel who are looking for a mini fridge in a premium room.

The location is great (stayed in the lake facing cottage). The welcome and briefing on the property was really good. The maintenance of the property is top notch. The food is good - both local and continental cuisine. There’s an infinity pool, swings, sufficient well shaded spots for taking pics..(PS: The property is close to an adventure zone at Karapuzha Dam - if you want to raise your heartbeat and even listen to it you should try the zipline and giant swing 🙂).
