Gravity Inn Motel

First, the good: 1. The overall cleanliness was good. The shower, toilet and the sink were very clean. 2. New vinyl flooring in the main room, but it would be nice if it continued into the bathroom. 3. There’s your standard amenities: a small refrigerator, a single cup coffee maker, and a microwave. All you really need for a quick cup of coffee in the morning. 4. It was dog friendly. The bad: 1. The parking lot is a mud pit with a million potholes. 2. There is no mat inside the door to wipe your feet after walking in the muddy parking lot. 3. The beds are in dire need of replacement. The boxspring was so disgusting (pictures attached), I tucked towels over it to cover it, so I wouldn’t touch it getting in and out of the bed. 4. The sheets are so old and pilled, they feel like sandpaper. 5. Every time I flush the toilet, I had to take the top off the back of the tank and pull the plunger, or it kept whistling. Summary It was a convenient location for where I was going, and the people were very nice, but I will not go back there again, unless they replace all the beds and the linens.

Very clean and quiet. Felt safe. And it was super close to my destination. Will stay again!!!

Parking right in front of room is nice. The heat unit worked well and beds were comfy. The walls are thin though and could hear the neighbors late at night.

The room was great, very clean, and the peppermint Pattie’s on the towels were a very nice touch!

Great value! Although the property does not look nice from the outside, inside it was welcoming, extremely clean and with great amenities like good soaps, mints, warm, fuzzy blankets and THE BEST pillows! Check in at the bar was inconvenient. They should consider key pads. Cliff, the manager, although not present on site, responded instantly to texts.

When I showed up just after midnight the office was closed and I couldn’t reach the number provided. I had to go elsewhere for the night.

Off the beaten path, but perfectly acceptable. We only stayed one night... the accommodations were modest and comfortable. The property was beautiful, with a view of the river, and there was space to walk our dog. There were two firepits outside for evening camaraderie. Hancock is a cute town; we attended a musical performance in the town square/park and had a wonderful time. Staff is terrific. :-)

The property condition could use a make over but the rates would not be as favorable. The parking lot/entry road is dirt and VERY rough and our new clean vehicle came out looking like we were in the dust bowl. It's not bad if you are a smoker and want to join the chain smokers just outside your door. Safety could be an issue due to the location and layout.

Parking lot could use some TLC, otherwise it was great
