"I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during my 3-day trip to Weihai. I initially thought it was a small, boutique guesthouse, but later found out it actually has 48 rooms. It's located in Weihai's Xiaoshidao Scenic Area, right next to Huoju Bajie, with a beach nearby. It's a quiet retreat despite being in a popular area. I usually have high standards for accommodation and rarely stay in guesthouses, but I was generally quite satisfied with this one. Let's talk about the pros: the facilities are complete, with free snacks and drinks, good Wi-Fi, and a TV that supports screen mirroring. The bedding is comfortable, and the toiletries are the popular Anaya brand, which has a very soothing scent. The shower pressure is excellent, and the guesthouse is very quiet at night. The environment is absolutely beautiful, and the service is also great. They actively greet guests and help with luggage, and even drive you to the parking lot after check-out. If you have any issues, you can contact the butler via WeChat, and they respond promptly and are very accommodating. Now for the cons: the guesthouse's location is a double-edged sword. Getting in and out by car can be quite congested. There are hardly any good restaurants near the surrounding attractions, so you'll need to drive a few kilometers for meals. Breakfast can get crowded and a bit chaotic. The hotel's entertainment facilities are quite limited, with only a small pool suitable for children and a coffee bar. Overall, I was still very satisfied and would recommend it."

I wouldn't recommend it if your main destination is Torch Eight Street, as it's very, very far. It's much more suitable if your main destination is Hanlefang. From the hotel, you can easily reach Jiulong Bay Park with a minimum fare, which is great for kids to go crabbing and many locals also come here to pick clams. **Facilities:** The bedding is very comfortable, especially for someone like me who is particular about pillows – I was very satisfied. Other facilities are standard for this price point, including a swimming pool and a gym. The shallow end of the pool is 1.2 meters deep, and the water temperature is 28-29 degrees Celsius. **Hygiene:** The room felt very new, and the cleanliness was impeccable. Those with young children can rest assured. **Environment:** The hotel's interior is excellent. On our first day, it was very windy, and our child played in the lobby on the ground floor for half the day without getting bored. The exterior is a relatively quiet residential area. **Service:** They offer pick-up and drop-off service from Weihai Station, and there were welcome fruits. If we had any issues, the butler was always reachable. Upon check-out, they thoughtfully gave us some fruits and snacks. The breakfast selection was rich and tasty, and baby utensils were available."

"The room was quite spacious, with a separate wet and dry area, and the cleanliness was excellent. I went in late August, and the price was good; it would be even more affordable in September. They provided face towels big enough for showering, haha. The shower pressure was strong, but the water from the sink splattered everywhere every time I used it. Each room also had an air purifier, which was a nice touch from the owner, probably installed during the pandemic. The location is great, right on Torch Eight Street, making it convenient for photoshoots. They also have free washing machines and dryers. However, I do want to point out one thing: don't you guys use toilet bowl cleaner for the stains inside the toilet? Soaking it would get rid of the grime."

A big thank you also goes to Daisy at the front desk for assisting with our extension and for another room upgrade. Their proactive and enthusiastic service truly made a difference. The hotel's dining options were also quite tasty. Its proximity to Xianghai is very convenient. I'll definitely be returning to the Crowne Plaza for my next stay."

"An unexpected check-in and dining experience that exceeded my expectations! I initially stayed two nights at the newly opened Crowne Plaza next door because of its InterContinental branding and big name, but it had so many issues! I switched to Chengtou Beichen for my third night because I had all my meals at Chengtou during my two nights at Crowne Plaza and found the service here to be very genuine and the food quality reliable. So, I made the decisive move to switch! The manager proactively upgraded my room type! They even thoughtfully provided an electric heater because of the cold weather! You can see the actual situation in the pictures! Manager Guo and Manager Zhang from the F&B department, Cinnie from the front desk, and all the other staff I encountered were all smiles. It was clear they had extensive hotel experience and understood customer needs (something the Crowne Plaza next door lacked). Plus, compared to Crowne Plaza's high prices for a good view, Chengtou shares a similar sea and lake view and isn't too far behind, and the price is much more favorable. The breakfast buffet also offers more variety and better taste than Crowne Plaza! And the service is better! The renovation smell at Crowne Plaza was too strong!"

"I was in Weihai for a business trip and decided to stay an extra two days for some sightseeing. I didn't want to splurge on a five-star hotel, nor did I want to stay in a dodgy motel, and this Huazhu property turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The room layout was very well thought out, the desk was spacious enough, and the internet speed was fast, so I had no trouble dealing with some work documents. The most convenient aspect for me was the parking – right outside the entrance, which is incredibly helpful for anyone driving. The facilities were comprehensive, with a laundry room and microwave available. The front desk was very responsive; I called for an extra bottle of water and it was delivered immediately. For this location and price, it offers excellent value for money."

The location is fantastic – I could walk to Hanlefang, which was super convenient for enjoying Korean food and browsing the night market. For those driving, there's free parking and even charging stations, making travel worry-free. The room itself was spacious and elegant, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and there was always plenty of hot water. The soundproofing was good, so I had a peaceful night's sleep. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the staff were all very attentive and welcoming. Getting to all the attractions around Weihai was a short drive. This is definitely a top pick for a vacation, and I'll choose it again next time I'm in Weihai!"

"Pros: Very close to Weihai Station and right next to Hanlefang, which is convenient for evening strolls and dining. Being on a high floor also made it easy to find. The room came with a bathtub, the bedding was very comfortable, and the hygiene was generally good. Cons: The room didn't have USB charging ports. Although a charging cable was provided, it only offered 5 minutes of free charging, after which a fee was required. The lounge area is behind the security gate, requiring a room card to access, so once you check out, you're immediately disconnected from the hotel. There's no restroom in the lobby, and luggage storage is through self-service lockers, with a fee starting after six hours. It feels a bit less personal compared to typical hotels."

"I stayed for two nights and was pleasantly surprised when customer service upgraded me to a sea-view room directly facing the ocean! The hotel's location is excellent; it's just a short walk across the street to Weihai International Beach. Sitting on the sand in the evening, listening to music and drinking coffee, was incredibly relaxing. Torch Eight Street is only a few minutes' walk away, and there are various restaurants and small shops on both sides of the hotel. In the evening, there's also a night market selling small goods. It's super convenient for shopping and dining, making for a great travel experience."

"Facilities: The hotel was fully booked, and we were very fortunate to get an upgrade to a suite. Many thanks to Jingjing for arranging it and to Sister Haixia for the thoughtful setup. The breakfast was decent, a mix of Chinese and Western options, and they even provided complimentary breakfast for our child. Hygiene: The hygiene was excellent; it was very comfortable to stay here. All the towels and bath towels were individually packaged and sterilized. Environment: The overall hotel environment was great. The lobby was bright and spacious, and the public areas were warmly decorated. The room had excellent soundproofing; we couldn't hear any noise from the hallway. Service: Jingjing and Sister Haixia were incredibly responsive to every request. They were also very quick to answer questions via private message.
