The hotel is cheap but you get what you pay for. Everything is dirty, smells bad, and is broken. In my room alone the carpet was dirty with holes in it, the bathroom sink, the wall, the fire-alarm was broken and just hanging lose, there was lots of dust on anything, the sheets were dirty, the shower had mold in it. I just got itchy just being in the room. Everything else was of the same level, the laundry room several machines were broken and i had to get the guy from the reception to come help me, he advised me not to buy food or drinks from the vending machine either because he informed me that was broken as well. I went to the common room one evening and the tables were sticky... All in all I would not recommend this hotel unless you are really are on a tight budget and don't mind a smelly, dirty, dusty, sticky hotel with no working facilities.

Excellent location, close to train station, ferry, city centre, definitely will stay again

Hotel is pretty old, needs renovation. I was living in separate room with own bathroom. But still everything old , smell old, mattress is very soft( Strange carpets everywhere, even on evevator walls))) But location is great, just few minutes from Railway station and Intercity buses stop. Center also just in five minutes walking. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I wish the hotel to be renovated.

Good wee hostel, I can only just recommend to fellow solo travellers. Location is perfect, just opposit of Trainstation.

The staff there are very pleasant and helpful. . I would recommend anyone who wants to stay I wellington. With its strategic location near the train station, it makes it so much convenient .

Good budget accommodation right next to Wellington railway station and downtown. Clean with a private bathroom. Good price.

perfect location, really nice old hotel from the 1930's. i just had to share my "shared bathroom" with one more room.

Room had an odour when we checked in which did not go away even when we opened the windows. Only two fridges in the kitchen which were totally full from all the guests.

Well, this place is super cheap and it's downtown. I had one ***** ****** in the room, but that's always the risk, i guess.

Basic accommodation, brilliant location just across from central train station. No personal lookers in hostel rooms

Apart from being fairly central 2 out of 3washing machines and dryers ou of order.It was cold and damp on one wall.View of scaffolding outside was a bit worrying

Location is good, near train station, bluebridge ferry and city. Room is clean, price is affordable.

Great Location and whilst basic was clean and delivered everything I needed
