Firstly, I would like to express my gratitude to Sofitel Wellington for providing excellent service, as well as Ctrip for providing excellent service and providing guests with a satisfactory stay experience. Next, I wish Sofitel Wellington and its staff: happiness and happiness! Happy! Abundant financial resources! Wishing Ctrip and its staff happiness and happiness! Happy! Abundant financial resources!
The specific comments are as follows: 1. Location: The Sofitel Wellington Hotel is located in the center of the New Zealand capital, near the Parliament Building and the sightseeing train. Opposite the hotel is the five-star Bolton Hotel. 2. Star rating, from the perspective of hardware facilities and five stars at the same price, the so-called 5 ⭐ Star, not satisfactory. Why? With no swimming pool, no garden, and no free parking lot, parking is a problem. Ctrip has indicated that hotels can park cars for guests. From the perspective of software services, the attitude is very good, but there is no foreign language dialogue service. Here, it means that there is no Chinese language service, so it is basically enough ⭐ Star rating. 3. Breakfast, basically in France 🇫🇷 A predominantly European style. The restaurant is small, but the hygiene, service, hot working and on-site production are very good. 4. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable, there are small refrigerators and ”mini bars”, there are desks, wifi, murals, bedside cabinets, wardrobes, coffee machines, hair dryers, etc. The hotel will not actively provide disposable dental supplies and bottled water, but guests can ask for them separately. During Easter, the hotel hung a homemade chocolate biscuit outside the guest room door as a gift, which was quite warm. In addition, the hotel has a small lounge and a small gym.
Overall, you can obtain 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Star review, thank you!

This was the greatest hotel I have ever stayed in. I'm over 'same same' hotels and marvelled at the grandness of the Wellesley. Of course, you can get 'grand' at lots of places but none have the class, history and location of this place. It was especially enjoyable because I am a Kiwi and value the heritage but I also loved the elegance of the staircase, opulent drapes, the timeless oak panelling, the well-placed wingback chairs, the high ceilings and ornamental plasterwork. On top of this, the hotel is right in the middle of the city, has a (welcome after a cold day) bath and possibly the whitest, fluffiest towels in the history of towels. It was quiet with a marvellously comfortable bed (with chocolates on the pillows no less). The staff were gracious and clearly have high expectations of cleanliness as it was spotless.

As a mid-to-high-end hotel under the Hilton Group, the Hilton Garden Inn Wellington did not disappoint my expectations.
The hotel has an excellent location, located in a bustling neighborhood in the center of Wellington, only one street away from the Cable Car Station, a must-visit point, and most of the attractions in Wellington can be reached on foot (of course, the scale of Wellington's urban area is not large, so friends who like city walk should not miss it).
Because the hotel is located in an old building, the hotel's facilities experience cannot be given a full score, but the interior decoration is full of artistic sense-especially the hotel's elevator, which is very distinctive.
Starting from a cookie that is always available when staying at Hilton Garden Inn, the hotel service is satisfactory and the communication is efficient and fast.
The breakfast is a regular Continental breakfast buffet, with fewer dishes and a decent taste, so I won't comment too much (the coffee tastes okay).
The only drawback is that the hygiene in some corners of the guest room is not good enough, and dust can be seen in the gaps around the workbench. Although it does not affect the overall use, it does affect the appearance to some extent. I hope that more attention can be paid in the future.
Overall, it is a pleasant and satisfying stay experience.
*Note: Please note that a deposit of NZ$50 per night will be charged upon check-in (of course, other expenses incurred during the stay can be deducted with this deposit), and since credit card information is required (Hilton Honors members), only physical cards are accepted, and contactless payments such as Apple Pay are not accepted. Please prepare in advance before arrival.
(Attached is a small episode during check-in: During the stay, a 4.5-magnitude earthquake occurred near Wellington, and the city was about 40km away from the epicenter. At that time, I could feel a slight shaking for several seconds while lying in bed. However, when I asked the front desk when I went out, the front desk lady said that she didn't feel it. It turns out that New Zealanders are too relaxed when facing volcanic earthquakes)

Overall is great, but still feel the whole hotel a little old, and one point: we asked the receptionist for shaver and toothbrush, he said all in the room, but actually there’s nothing. We need to phone service team for several times ( we only asked one thing first cause we believed there are everything except that one, then we found others were not there……), really inconvenient.
The food is great, and the guy there is very friendly!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mostly enjoyable experience. The central location is fantastic—everything is within walking distance, including shops, restaurants, water front, the cable car, Te Papa Museums, and the lively Cuba Street. The airport express bus station is also just a few minutes away, which is super convenient.
However, I did encounter a few issues. The room had two single beds, but their legs weren’t lockable, so we had to use boxes and furniture stop them from moving. Additionally, there are quite a few steps to reach the front entrance. While there’s an escalator next door to bypass the steps during the day, accessing the hotel can be challenging with luggage when access to the escalator is closed after work.
One noteworthy experience was a fire evacuation around 2 AM. Thankfully, the fire exit process worked very smoothly, and we were safely evacuated without any issues. Luckily, it wasn't raining, which made the situation a bit easier.
Despite these inconveniences, the room was clean and comfortable, and the check-in and check-out process was easy. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for its great location and cleanliness. We will definitely return.

VV.C.What a fantastic hotel/apt studio right in the heart of Wellington CBD. For the price and amenities, it really can't be beaten. I'd paid more previously at TRYP, but this Quest location is far better. 👍 Although the room is the same size, it has far more amenities w a kitchenette, eating area, washer/dryer and toiletries. Right outside it's easy to find eateries and you're in walking distance of the cable car, the museum, shopping and sundries.
Can't recommend this place enough if you want bang for your buck, and you don't plan on being in the room long. Great for layovers.
P.s.- they have limited reception hours, so if you're arriving after 7pm or require assistance, this place might not be for you. Very self-service.
Ttiz_iO M G. The staff are so lovely, the room was perfect for our overnight stay. The ladies at the front desk were super busy when we checked in but still managed a smile for everyone. The bussiness however meant that we weren't told about the charge for parking. We were happy to pay because secure overnight parking is hard to come by, but it was a surprise when the gentleman checking us out advised of it. (It does say about the charge on the back of the paper that goes in your car windscreen, however after being mucked around by our initial hotel, we were in too much of a rush to get sorted for the concert we were attending that we didn't even think to read it)
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is very good, in the city center, next to the Parliament Building, not far from the ferry, the room is spacious and clean, with kitchen facilities similar to an apartment, very suitable for family travel. The breakfast has fewer types than Hilton, but the quality is okay, 35nzd is half price for a child (my family is 3 and a half years old), and the hotel helps with parking for 40nzd, which is still very convenient. After all, the hotels in Wellington are basically not easy to park, after all, the city center is very expensive.
The view from the room is good, there is a green area outside the window, which is the local cemetery (the locals don't mind these, it's very similar to Japan), and I personally don't think it matters, after all, the environment is very good.
NNaenae418We have a blast, from the friendly staff, complimentary foods, the room and the aesthetic place. The location is good easy access for foods, entertainment and shop. We enjoy the breakfast it is worth it. A bit sad, the pool is not that well maintain during our stay. Next time, I hope how many people in the room equal to how many the toiletries (ex. Toothbrush) except for shampoo, body wash, conditioner and hand wash. We’ll come again for sure and recommend to people who plans to have a trip in wellington. Hence, the place is warm and overall the facilities and services are the best.
GGuest UserWe have always enjoyed staying at QT Museum Hotel. We were given the option to upgrade to a Seaview room on the top floor with an additional charge. Seeing it is a more quiet room compared to my booking request on the 1st floor near road traffic and rubbish bin area, I paid the extra for the upgrade per night for 2 nights.
Our room was not serviced well the following day. Rubbish bin in the bathroom being the only one was not emptied. The Bath and Shower gel was not replenished, we had to asked for it to be refilled. the cushions on the bed was still on the floor from the night before, the ironing board was still left out - I did not put it back as the iron was still very hot after ironing my dress for my conference that morning. The gym facilities was very tired with all towels being used and the used towels bin was overflowing.
I was very disappointed with my stay this trip, using shortage of staff since Covid is a very old excuse now. Systems and procedures should be in placed by management to ensure the 5 star ratings is upheld. No point upselling or selling more rooms if they cannot keep customers happy to come back again. This was not only my opinion but that of my colleagues. very disappointing!
DDamon ShawcrossStayed her for a work on 5 August 2022
Good hotel in a handy central location. Good reception area, staff were friendly and welcoming. Not a modern hotel by any means but a classic feel to it.
Was assigned a wheelchair accessible room 507, Room was a small queen room that was clean and well appointed. Being a disability accessible room, the bathroom was huge and essentially a wet-room without a bath. Not that I wanted one, but you would expect to see one, normally.
Nearly slipped in the shower as I didn't find the rubber grip mat until after my shower as it was under the towels on the towel rail, where I didn't see it, rather than in the shower on the hand rail where I would.
Good to see they have done away with the plastic bottles for
Had an internal room facing another hotel block without a view, but this meant it was quiet. Wellington can get noisy on a Friday night but I slept well.
Check out took maybe 10 seconds.
Would stay again.
Damon
PPattersonAlways thoroughly enjoy my stay here. Very convenient, a step away from central Courtenay Place. Parking is convenient and easily accessed. Rooms are fully equipped with kitchenette that has its own dishwasher/cooktop/fridge etc. super comfy bed and nice little balcony. Really nice open plan bathroom/wet room and lighting is great for dolling up! It’s the PERFECT spot for a night out on the town. Always will be booking here for when I am needing to spend my night in Central Wellington for events. Christian H at the counter is a very nice and welcoming work colleague.
GGary EslerOur favourite hotel to run away to for a weekend in Wellington or a short escape. Nice rooms with good sized shower, toilet . Nothing extra fancy but comfortable and clean. Parking on site is $20 per night. Lovely big brealfast is included in the price with juices, tea or coffee. Fruit and cereals, or bacon, eggs, sausages, mushrooms hash browns and baked beans ... A great location woth a short walk to cuba mall or carrybon further to the water front. Happy to recommend the Willis.
LLIThe odor in the room is relatively large, there are no windows, the floor is very old, there is no carpet, the room does not know what the house changed, and the water pipes on the roof are bare. In short, the accommodation environment is uncomfortable, and the water pipes are noisy at midnight The house is also very soundproof. The price is relatively low, set at 378. However, there is a public kitchen, which is conveniently located at the intersection of cuba st andmanners st, and there is a stop sign. The hotel entrance is not easy to find, in the sports shop REBEL.
刘刘Hotel location is very good, in the center of Wellington, the parking lot is on the upper floor, to go up a steep slope, parking fee 15 NZ / day. The interior decoration is a bit antique and has a sense of history. The downside is that I arrived at the hotel on Christmas Eve, and the front desk was closed (should be at 7 pm), saying that I sent an email to me, but I didn't find it in fact. Still the cleaning guy, contacted me, opened the key box, and got the key.
The average price for hotels in Wellington is JOD 110 on weekdays, and JOD 113 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
