La Belle Auberge

This was our 3rd and final stay st this once lovely B&B. Breakfast is not served, we were never notified. Sheets were dirty, toilet overflowed all over, innkeepers ignored our calls. No common area for guests. Consider this place a dirty room for rent and that's what you get.

Charming house. Check in was easy. Walkable to downtown Wellsboro. Room was very comfortable.

Billed as bed and breakfast except… No breakfast. Arrived to find 4 small muffins in room which we thought was a nice touch. Little did we know that that was considered the “breakfast” for all three days! There were also a couple of yogurts in the fridge. Very disappointing. The room was cramped and not cleaned once during our three night/day stay. The place was once amazing and remains with tremendous potential but for the most expensive location in Wellsboro I would have expected better.

The pictures do not tell the story of this property. All of the common spaces have been turned into spa/salon spaces. There is no living or dining room. We were given less than appetizing breakfasts in a plastic bin that we could have in our room or carry down to the front porch. We set it up, broke it down and we’re never asked if we needed anything else. The owners, while on property, were less than interested in our stay. There was a half eaten pizza left in our room and underwear and socks in our friend’s room.

What a wonderful old B&B the host were wonderful, the breakfast is delicious, the room was very nice and the bathroom is very large contented to a nice balcony sitting area. Spent two nights first time there park your car and just walk to places to eat. Great town, wonderful people .

We chose La Belle Auberge as a stop on our way driving home from Maine. We were looking for a B&B close to restaurants. This place was perfect. It had everything you would expect from a quality B&B. Especially enjoyed the big porch and flower garden.

This is a beautiful B&B with spectacular breakfasts. We had a very romantic weekend here. We ate breakfast out on a private balcony. We also enjoyed nearby Cherry State Park and the view of the stars.

La Belle Auberge Bed and Breakfast was a delightful getaway. The breakfast was delicious and the couples massage was so relaxing and very much needed. We are so looking forwarded to returning and staying at this cozy B&B while visiting Wellsboro again.

We stayed in the Paris room which was just what the name would imply. Beautiful furnishings and decor in the B&B and very pleasant landscape surroundings --quite comfortable. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. I definitely recommend the on-site hot rocks spa trea**ent. The owner, staff and even outside local contractors were very kind to my elderly Mom. We've already recommended you to other family members. Thank you so much for a great stay.
