This place has a great vintage vibe and a wonderful environment. The room was clean and tidy, and the service was excellent. Plus, breakfast was included, making it fantastic value for money. Highly recommend!

A really beautiful B&B, and the owner was very nice too. (The only downside was killing a cockroach in the room, but that might be because it's on the first floor).

If you love trying Wenzhou cuisine and enjoy browsing local markets to soak in the authentic atmosphere, I highly recommend this guesthouse. Its location is a tranquil oasis amidst the hustle and bustle; both Wuma Street and Washi Market are within a 5-minute walk. Since many attractions were closed due to Typhoon Bavi's impending arrival, the guesthouse offered a Qipao photoshoot, adding another dimension to our trip. There's no elevator, but the staff were wonderful, helping with luggage and even offering an umbrella to shield an elderly guest from the sun. After adding them on WeChat, they also sent us addresses and opening hours for local eateries, which was a very thoughtful touch.

Unfortunately, the reality is very different from the photos on the website. The room is very old, it has not been renovated for a long time. There is no sound insulation, sounds can be heard from the street from early morning until late at night. Breakfast is very meager, but what was delicious in the photo :) breakfast time is very limited. And at 9 a.m., there's nothing left of breakfast. The courtyard is nice and cozy. Very helpful and kind staff.

✨ Five-star strong recommendation for Eileen's Former Residence in Zhongshan! This民國-era gem is hidden in Wenzhou's old town. You can choose a free Qipao to wear, and the courtyard, staircase, and windowsills are perfect for retro photoshoots – the ambiance is absolutely fantastic. The rooms are clean, the front desk service is warm, breakfast is plentiful, and it's super convenient for getting around.

Staying at Ailing Zhongshan Yashe in Wenzhou was absolutely the right choice! The service was warm and attentive, with complimentary fruit upon check-in and snacks in the fridge. The breakfast was also excellent, featuring local specialty rice noodles and fish cakes, making for a fantastic experience. The cleanliness deserves full marks; both the public areas and the room were spotless and well-maintained. The amenities were comprehensive and clean, and disinfection was thorough, showing great care and attention to detail. I felt comfortable and at ease during my stay. I'll definitely choose Ailing again next time I'm in Wenzhou.

I had a very comfortable stay in this charming two-story courtyard guesthouse, designed in the Republic of China style. The environment was lovely, and the hygiene was impeccable. The front desk lady was very warm and welcoming, and the free Qipao dresses were perfect for photos!

I have to rave about the incredibly warm and thoughtful service at Ailing Home! From booking to check-in, everything was so considerate. The staff are gentle and enthusiastic, always ready to assist with any request. They even sent parking instructions before I arrived and provided a travel guide after check-in. The attention to detail is exceptional, and they are friendly yet professional, making you feel completely at ease, like staying at a friend's house. The elegant Republican-era ambiance combined with such meticulous service made for a truly peaceful and comfortable stay. This is my top choice when visiting Wenzhou, and I've already recommended it to all my friends. I'll definitely be staying at Ailing Home again on my next trip!

The butler service was incredibly personal and heartwarming! The butler was enthusiastic but never intrusive, helping with luggage and providing travel tips. We received fruit upon arrival and tea when we checked out. The room was very spacious and comfortable. It's a reliable homestay – they truly cater to your every need, making the experience absolutely top-notch! 🙋‍♀️

This guesthouse has a wonderful Republic of China-era charm, with a cozy two-story courtyard that's perfect for taking photos in a Qipao. I chose this place because I'm a fan of Eileen Chang, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Traveling during the off-season made it excellent value for money. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the Wuma Historical and Cultural Block. The guesthouse's breakfast buffet was also really extensive. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Wenzhou.

Stepping into Zhongshan Yashe, I was immediately warmed by the front desk lady's enthusiasm. Not only did she proactively upgrade my room, but her smile also set the tone for a truly pleasant trip. From the swift check-in and thoughtful directions upon arrival to the kind farewell and complimentary souvenir upon departure, every detail exuded a 'home away from home' warmth. The friendly greetings from the cleaning staff and the restaurant server's expert recommendations for local specialties like fish cakes and meat swallow noodles made the service truly exceed expectations. I was especially touched by their keen attention to my needs – I casually mentioned the pillow height, and by the afternoon, it had been quietly replaced with a softer one. This kind of service, respectful without being overly deliberate, added a human touch to the vintage decor and poetic ambiance. If there's a 'Haidilao' equivalent in the hotel industry, Zhongshan Yashe's service is the perfect illustration! Highly recommended for travelers seeking quality and warmth. It's now on my personal favorite list, and I'll definitely be back!
