This hotel is budget and basic but absolutely perfect for a few days visiting Amsterdam. We were very pleased to get off the train from Schiphol via Sloterdijk and find the hotel was a 2-3 minute walk from the station. Zaandam is also a lovely place with lots of shops, cafes and bars. We didn’t explore beyond the Main Street but I’m also told the windmill tour isn’t far away in Zaanse-Schans. Reception staff very friendly, coffee machine in the lobby charges €1.50 for a cappuccino. There’s no breakfast facilities but plenty of cafes within walking distance. also a large supermarket across the street. Room is small but clean with a good view of surrounding area. The shower wouldn’t be out of place in a 5 star hotel, it was brilliant. 10 mins on the train to Amsterdam Centraal and the trains run from around 6am till 1am every 15 minutes.

Abbiamo alloggiato in questo Hotel dal 31 agosto al 2 settembre io, il mio fidanzato e un nostro amico. Abbiamo preso due camere matrimoniali, piccole ma davvero perfette, molto pulite e accoglienti. In questa zona si è molto vicini alla zona dei mulini a vento che vale davvero la pena vedere. Colazione a buffet noi abbiamo pagato 9€ a persona ma era davvero ben fornita e personalmente anche molto gradita. A pochi minuti di camminata si trova la fermata per andare sia verso Amsterdam Centro (la si raggiunge tranquillamente con una ventina di minuti circa di bus) e verso la zona dei mulini, in hotel si ha anche la possibilità di poter comprare la carta con la quale puoi girare su tutti i mezzi pubblici (che a mio parere conviene molto perché c’è un servizio di mezzi pubblici a dir poco eccezionale e puntualissimi al secondo). Lo staff molto cordiale e sempre sorridenti, la struttura in generale l’ho trovata molto bella e molto pulita. Ci siamo trovati davvero benissimo e secondo me è sottovalutata questa struttura e merita molta più visibilità di quella che ha. È stata davvero una scoperta inaspettata è molto gradita e bella.

Having read the online reviews, I booked directly online with the hotel and made sure I did not book an annexe room (they have bad reviews). When I arrived to check in, was told I was in the annexe building. I don't think so! I argued with the woman but she kept insisting it's what I'd booked. I explained that I took extra care not to book an annexe room, but she insisted this is what I'd done. Fortunately I'd printed out the booking and I showed the paperwork to her and she then said she had 1 room left in the main hotel and, as if she was doing me a favour, she could give it to me. Of course you can give it to me!! It's what I booked and paid for!! As there's not much around, we ate dinner there. Being vegetarian there wasn't much choice and the ravioli was atrocious and was smothered with some curdled looking ricotta. Wine was lovely, but very expensive. Our stay wasn't all negative as the room we were ultimately given was comfortable and the view from the restaurant is lovely. Breakfast was good too, so not all bad. Having to fight for the correct room just leaves me with a bad vibe as don't like to be lied to want to be given the room I'd booked and paid for.

Wonderful staff Yanick and Ilaria get name mentions! Wonderful room and view. Great location eve though it is not in the city but a simple two stops to Noord from Central Station. Beautiful spaces to relax in. Amazing breakfast! 10 out of 10!

The hotel was lovely. The location was quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and modern. The only downside was the double bed, which was two twin beds pushed together, with separate mattresses, blankets and sheets. The breakfast could also use some better/more options. Otherwise, our stay was perfect, and I would recommend.

Short journey from Schipol Airport, less than 30 minutes. The hotel is perfectly suited for the AK Alkmaar Football Stadium which is a ten minute walk away. It is 25 minutes walk into the fabulous town of Alkmaar. The hotel has a good onsite Sushi restaurant. The staff are great. The hotel is safe and clean. But it is limited. Breakfast is a basic offering, good variety but quality average. Rooms are ok, functional but again just. The hotel reception doubles up as a bar. Not ideal. So for me it’s a good base for exploring Alkmaar but it is a no frills hotel. If you want a bit more, you need to stay elsewhere.

Amazing hotel from the outside and the inside. Beautiful view from top floor. The hotel is near train station and the main colourful road. Next to entrance is McDonald and a lot of shops. Extremely helpful and nice crew. The room so big and comfy. The bathroom with sauna and shower and bubbles bath is perfect combination to fully relax. The hotel have one floor for wellness with pool and sauna and gym. Breakfast is excellent, a lot to choose and tasty. The TV is on rotating stand and you can watch from every place in the room. It was extremely refreshing and delicious experience. I will be coming back for sure. It is 100% of pleasure and 100% of joy to stay there. I recommend the hotel in 200%

Stayed here before getting on a cruise from the Felison Cruise terminal. Very helpful young man on reception and ate in the restaurant which was very nice. Nice atmosphere in the hotel and restaurant. Everything looked clean and well organised. Would definitely stay again.

Pros: The location is about 500m from Slotrejik station and very convenient as it only takes one station to go Amsterdam Central and Airport. Cons: - Staffs are not always at reception so sometimes you need to wait 15-20mins until someone shows up - The bed is small and low. There’s no curtain so there’s not much of privacy here - And what I hate the most is there is no noise proof so it’s quite noisy. Pleae think twice if you are not willing to here the loud talking and construction until 2-3 am everyday. I barely had a good sleep during 2 days at the hotel
