The power went out often which was annoying. Other than this, it was a decent place to stay, and affordable.

It was quite a surprise to find this wonderful place located a few metres from the airport , it is well situated and has quite a vibrant feel to it , very quiet and next to the ocean, we only spent a night on our last day but for my next trip i am considering spending a number of days here, the hospitality is quite above average , the reception remarkable and the food was amazing, the chef made sure that he not only attended to my special dietary restrictions but also made sure that for breakfast i had an array of choices that i could choose from, Dinner at the terrace was amazing it was beyond what my expectations were and what i can just encourage is that for the management to keep up the good work .

we spent the last three nights from our vacation in zanzibar in this lovely hotel and were impressed generally by the exceptional service, we got 5 star reception upon arrival ,made us feel quite at home, the smiles and courtesy of the staff, the general ambiance and general outline of the hotel,the rooms which we had booked were sea view and had a spectacular touch to it quite genuine African not too shouty but makes one feel entirely at home with a nice African and local zanzibari touch to it , the hotel itself is authentic and has quite a history as i got to learn from the front office manager samuel and team and holds a lot of memorabilia that touches on its authenticity and makes it quite remarkable, the restaurant is classy with an African finesse and Joe and team are always taking good care of everyone,touching on the needs and restrictions that we highlighted upon check-in the hotel had a conference ongoing but we could feel the warmth and hospitality everyone was getting by the appreciative faces that surrounded the environs,it was quite an experience i was also met by the GM Farid who was more than welcoming and i assured him that this will not be the last time i visit such a lovely place and will definitely recommend

This hotel is absolutely beautiful and huge. I just spent a night here for the next day flight back to America. The staffs are so nice and friendly. Their services were beyond my expectation. The swimming pool is super clean. It is about 10 minutes to the airport and stonetown. I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody who decides to visit Zanzibar for vacation or business.

Warning- Do not book here! Forfiet your money if you already paid. This place will destroy your vacation mood. It is under new managemrent from India who refused to take the calls from ******* to discuss my refund so I had to take 3 calls from ******* saying he would not answer the phone. Should be closed during construction and possibly condemed. You arrive to the entire lobby fenced off with mesh the entire floor is gone. You walk over a bridge water feature but no water is on it. The water fountain going to restaurant is cracked with no water. The pool is merky and with the red light at night looks OMINOUS! WE WERE BITTEN BaDLY BY BEDBIGS! There are muddy trenches dung all over the lawn. The day bed was filthy. They locked beach access because they said it is dangerous. The website implies there is beach access. The water has local fisherman and looks very commercial and looks uninviting.

This resort is beautiful to say the very least! The rooms are also wow for me, I love how big and high the bed is, and that the room is furnished with not only the tv, the fan, air conditioning, but also extra furniture. I love that the sitting area in the room is positioned directly below the fan, helps a lot with the heat . I would say that’s my favorite part of the room. I love the antics / artwork in the room , giving royal-like touch. The dresser and the wardrobe area, and the two big mirrors 🪞 on the wall. For a beauty conscious girl, I love me these mirrors for my outfit checks . I really love everything about the rooms. The sceneries outside are also to die for , from the sea 🌊 view right outside my room door , to the balcony sitting area, the ever green walkways, a giant beautiful pool area , and a welcoming entrance ( see pictures)

We felt at home. We had a late flight from dar es Salaam and arrived in Zanzibar at 3:00 am. The team on the ground was still up and waiting for us. They took good care of us, enjoyed the amenities there like the swimming pool, Breakfast was on point, and most importantly the location was cool. We recommend it for anyone heading to the Island. It was a perfect start for our honeymoon. Lukas, and Happy,... were very helpful and fun to be with.

Exceptional,the service was amazing, we were welcomed so nicely,the rooms were spacious and the beach was amazing.honetly I would recommend it if you want somewhere to relax and bond with friends and family this is the place.

Was totally amazed by this hotel, initially when booking did not expect it to be the best decision I would have ever made , we arrived late at night and the hotel had organized a pick at the airport, the drive was 15 minutes , check in was fast quick and efficient , we requested for late dinner and the fb manager joe was quite handy and recommended calamari and would say it was the best meal I have had in ages, the next day went out for an excursion through the hotels tour desk as recommended by Samuel and the guide was quite efficient , on coming back we were treated to a surprise birthday cake for my wife , I had not even told the hotel about that but Joe made it happen , all I all thanks for the most amazing experience
