Hotel 2 Bintang di Yellowstone Barat

My trip was intended as a couples trip but changed last minute and due to not being able to cancel, I had to go solo. This is a Motel, not to be confused with a Hotel. Upon check in , you could tell this was a mom and pop motel. Check in was quick and easy and courteous. The room is very basic and 1960-70’s refurb. The pictures online definitely portray the room as more modern than what they are. Granted, the room was very clean. The toilet is small and close to the floor. The floors squeak when you walk. The first night after getting dinner with the other couple, I could not get in my room. I had to go to the office to find out that is “normal” as the door locks are due to be changed and the gears often don’t catch. The owner kept pushing up and down and swiping my door card until it opened. I had this to happen again the next day. Breakfast was impressive as far as selection. The biscuits seemed to be frozen and set out the day before to thaw, causing them to be dry. Overall, I would not stay here again. If I had not been traveling with a couple staying at the same place, I would have asked for a refund or accepted the loss and found another place to stay. I was not comfortable staying here as a single lady. Of note, I did have reservations the following 2 nights at Hotel in the same town that I would stay at 100 times over!

酒店位置特別好，停車方便，樓下就是加油站，就在西黃石公園入口附近，旁邊超市，餐廳很多選擇，附近走路15分鐘還有黃石灰熊動物園和歷史博物館，除了貴點，沒毛病。這次暴雨後還看到了彩虹，很棒

I very seldom write a review be it good or bad, but this one I felt that I had to write. Just before I was ready to climb in bed I pulled back the comforter and noticed that there was not top sheet. I wondered if they had just forgotten to put in on, but then checked the other bed. No top sheet on that one either. Consequently I slept with no covering until I finally succumbed to cold and threw the dirty comforter over my shoulders. I had never slepted in a motel that had no top sheet. I like a little protection against who had slept there the night before. I texted Freddie and asked him about it, and he said that they complied with Montana Law. Just out of curiosity I looked up Montana’s Law’s on lodging with that of specific interest. It said that motels should have a top sheet that turns down over the top covering 6”. Since there was not top sheet it made it impossible to turn down something that wasn’t there. It was about a hundred bucks less than anywhere else in West Yellowstone, but I will definitely spring for the extra money for a little extra sanitary safety.

Motel ini terletak berhampiran pintu masuk barat Taman Yellowstone. Lokasi benar-benar berfaedah. Hotel ini tidak besar, tetapi susun aturnya bagus. Terdapat sebuah meja persegi besar untuk makan. Di samping itu, hotel ini menyediakan kiub ais percuma, yang juga sangat baik. Satu-satunya kelemahan ialah pemanasan sukar untuk disesuaikan. Saya bangun pada waktu malam dan menghidupkan pemanas.

Very friendly staff at front desk took time to tell us about the town and best places to go to. The rooms are comfy and clean, definitely nice for a few nights to stay. Walking distance from shops, restaurants and park entrance, as well as IMAX and grizzly bears & wolves center.

酒店位置很好，不堵車的話，距離黃石公園西門衹要十幾分鍾，房間不大，但是很乾凈，兩張一米五的大床，我們是兩個大人帶兩個孩子，因為孩子個子比較高，所以要求加一張床，服務員服務態度很好，很快給送了一張床，最後看了一下賬單，衹多收了五美元，一家人休息的很好，早餐品種不多，但是夠用了，而且24小時咖啡熱水熱茶很適合我的中國胃。不足之處就是旺季價格是真高啊，哈哈也能理解，畢竟一年有半年黃石公園不開，估計酒店也是衹有半年營業。

Booked last minute and the staff was incredibly helpful and also recommended several restaurants in area. Lobby is very well decorated and rooms are small but well furnished. Bed was very comfortable but recommended to bring your own pillows as ones provided a little beaten up. Room was clean , few old stains on comforter but could tell everything had been washed and smelled clean. Small bathroom so be aware, but great for what it is. Great location to all the major restaurants and shops ! Highly recommend!

Simple hotel with the basics. Three beds and lots of room. Comfortable mattress. There was a 1 inch gap in our front exterior door on the second floor. When I told the front desk staff about it and said I was worried that mice would get in, she said they hadn’t yet. She then asked me what she wanted me to do about it. I asked if there was something we could use to close the gap and she said use a towel. When I asked her for a towel she seemed annoyed that I asked. We didn’t get any mice in it that shouldn’t even be a concern.
