We stayed at the Ramada Whitecourt in February for a hockey tournament. In the planning stages dealing with the front desk staff was great. They were able to answer all of my questions and the hotel in general offered all services we were looking for (i.e. breakfast included in rate, a common space for the kids to play and eat team meals). However, upon arrival at the hotel our team was put in an old part of the hotel which you could clearly see never gets used or maintained. Windows were held shut with tree logs, walls were cracked, carpet was wet, lights were burnt out. We approached the front desk and had our team relocated to a different part of the hotel, which we thought would be better, but unfortunately it was not. Our team had reserved approximately 15 rooms. We had issues in the new rooms from visible mold, fridges that did not work, one fridge had not been cleaned out and was full of old food (the fridge was not plugged in...). The entire hotel has very visible water damage in the ceiling. Furniture has stains. The hot breakfast was decent and we liked that it was included in the price. The common space we had for the kids was great as it was an enclosed room where they could run around and have team meals. Issues we had with the space was there was no windows to open, and the AC was not working so it got very hot in there. Our biggest concern was with all of the water damage and visible mold - can't be good for guests staying in the hotel. Overall, the ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. But we would not book at this hotel again. The pictures online posted by the hotel are not up to date and do not show the current condition.

Everything they did was perfect right down to the free breakfast and cleaning of the rooms during my multiple days there definitely recommend very very happy with my stay

Above and beyond, Review of Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Whitecourt Our whole community evacuated our little town. We are on our 5th day. Microtel Hotel in Whitecourt lead by the very approachable and kind General Manager, Jamie Vidad and the rest of the team( Front desk staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. Especially To Maxene, she is exceptional.had help me scan . The team has been continually and tirelessly assist us , making sure we are comfortable and have everything we need. I’ve been to a lot of hotels and this one is one of the bests hotels we have stayed in. Very clean property. All staff are very helpful and welcoming. It doesn’t feel like we are away from home. In addition, Ive seen Jaime in the hotel most of the time, working so many hours. To the hotel breakfast attendant, Thank you. have patiently assist us in the laundry area as well, even she is busy at the breakfast room.Thank you po ate️ . To the housekeeping department.Thank you so much. The team has been very crazy busy but still carries smile to their faces.It is a good relief for us knowing that they truly care. Thank you. Owners are very blessed to have them❤️

Had a big group of friends staying in multiple rooms and they were quick to help all of us check in quickly and had us in our rooms in no time. Nice clean rooms.
