We booked a one bedroom apartment via ***********. We were allocated a two bedroom/two bathroom set out over two floors, but were not able to use the second bedroom and second bathroom or we would be charged an additional rate which was fair enough. The apartment was spacious, laundry area with tub and dryer. Upstairs was big open plan lounge and kitchen. Bathroom with a bath and shower over. Bedroom with a good sized bed and decent wardrobe space. Iron and ironing board. The outdoor area had a clothes rack to dry clothes. Nice balcony overlooking the pool, which can be noisy at times, however, there is a 8pm noise control in place which works well. Very quiet over night, until the birds wake at 5 a.m. ! Easy few minutes walk to Whitianga Wharf, town centre and beach. Supermarkets a short drive away, or about a 20 minute walk. There is a Four Square around the corner for basics. No late check out allowed (10 a.m.) Definitely recommend and would stay again.

What a gorgeous location. Our view was beautiful and our unit was well equipped for four adults. We absolutely loved the covered, enclosed patio with the large opening windows. It had two bar set ups as well as comfortable cane chairs for sitting looking out to the ocean. It was a short walk to restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.

Great stay at the end of our trip to the north island. Maria and Guy were very friendly and helpful during our stay. They both offered lots of suggestions of hidden gems to visit as well as the main attractions. Breakfast was freshly cooked each morning by Maria and there was lots of choice. There is a kitchen area for guests to use which was great. Just a short drive or approx 30min walk on the beach from Whitianga, this B&B was very peaceful and relaxing.

Thank you Daniel for holding our booking. We found our room to be very cramped, maybe due to it being recessed to allow for stairs up to the first floor rooms. Could hear when someone used the toilet in the above room! Not much bench space, no running water apart from in the bathroom, and no electric blankets! Would suggest all info leaflets be compiled into a suitable folder, including instructions for the tv. Read that room included free continental breakfast, only tea/coffee/milk/sugar available! Pleasant outdoor area. Great location.

We staying here for 2 nights on our short holiday trip and I will give an honest review of our experience Location: very handy and a short drive to the city, beaches and restaurants Room: very clean and tidy with large bathroom, however we experienced having rat above our bed scratching and making noise all of our first night which make us stay awake most of the night and the hall way have kids running around at 7 in the morning which added to our tiredness. The room have AC that’s works really well and keep us comfortable. We told the reception team about our experience of rat and they are very apologetic and action it on the next morning by going up the ceiling and try their best to eliminate the rats but unfortunately they still there on our second night. It is unfortunate that we experience that but PLEASE DO NOT let our experience stop you from staying here as the room itself isn’t that bad and we talk to other people around us they couldn’t hear the scratch noise as it was just above our room only. If it wasn’t the rats issue I would be more than happy to give this place a 5 stars rating for sure.

We stayed in a Deluxe 2 Bedroom Unit - they were very new and a deck was being built while we were there. The open plan living area is perfect for relaxing, cooking, playing cards with friends, watching tele or just looking out over the campground. Service was friendly, professional and faultless. Bathroom was so clean and lovely to use and be in. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable - a very large Super King! The dining table is lovely - round being perfect for playing cards and easy to wipe clean. The air con was quick to heat up and easy to use. The location is perfect - very close to town for when we used our bikes to get there. Check in and out was a breeze. Our friends had a mobile home - the owners kindly gave them a spot right opposite our unit. We highly recommend this place to stay - the price was very reasonable for what we had - if ever we come back to Whitianga, this is where we would definitely book again - thanks!

We stayed at Baileys the nights of February 27 and 28, 2023, in an upstairs unit. Positives - -Large unit with a comfortable bed -Nice shower with good water pressure -Great view from the unit and patio of the ocean -Very clean Negatives -The owner’s unit on the lower level unfortunately was damaged in the cyclone on February 12. They are having extensive remodeling done as a result and our unit was quite noisy with hammering and drilling etc. This started about 8:00 am and lasted all day both days. We were not forewarned of this despite having emailed the motel prior to our visit for a status due to the cyclone. -Wi-Fi is slow, at best had two bars. -The motel is at a busy corner with lots of truck traffic during the day - it’s noisy when the patio door is open. It quiets down at night.

Nice balcony overlooking the pool, which can be noisy at times, however, there is a 8pm noise control in place which works well. Very quiet over night, until the birds wake at 5 a.m. ! Easy few minutes walk to Whitianga Wharf, town centre and beach. Supermarkets a short drive away, or about a 20 minute walk. There is a Four Square around the corner for basics. No late check out allowed (10 a.m.) Definitely recommend and would stay again.

What a gorgeous location. Our view was beautiful and our unit was well equipped for four adults. We absolutely loved the covered, enclosed patio with the large opening windows. It had two bar set ups as well as comfortable cane chairs for sitting looking out to the ocean. It was a short walk to restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.

Thank you Daniel for holding our booking. We found our room to be very cramped, maybe due to it being recessed to allow for stairs up to the first floor rooms. Could hear when someone used the toilet in the above room! Not much bench space, no running water apart from in the bathroom, and no electric blankets! Would suggest all info leaflets be compiled into a suitable folder, including instructions for the tv. Read that room included free continental breakfast, only tea/coffee/milk/sugar available! Pleasant outdoor area. Great location.

Great stay at the end of our trip to the north island. Maria and Guy were very friendly and helpful during our stay. They both offered lots of suggestions of hidden gems to visit as well as the main attractions. Breakfast was freshly cooked each morning by Maria and there was lots of choice. There is a kitchen area for guests to use which was great. Just a short drive or approx 30min walk on the beach from Whitianga, this B&B was very peaceful and relaxing.

We stayed at Baileys the nights of February 27 and 28, 2023, in an upstairs unit. Positives - -Large unit with a comfortable bed -Nice shower with good water pressure -Great view from the unit and patio of the ocean -Very clean Negatives -The owner’s unit on the lower level unfortunately was damaged in the cyclone on February 12. They are having extensive remodeling done as a result and our unit was quite noisy with hammering and drilling etc. This started about 8:00 am and lasted all day both days. We were not forewarned of this despite having emailed the motel prior to our visit for a status due to the cyclone. -Wi-Fi is slow, at best had two bars. -The motel is at a busy corner with lots of truck traffic during the day - it’s noisy when the patio door is open. It quiets down at night.
