We stepped inside for a lunch, attracted by location and pleasant decor. The service from young unexperienced waitress was pretty poor, but polite. What was shocking however was that 3 members of staff including who should be a manager, had wine/sommelier training just next to us, while whole restaurant floor was empty. It was not just rude but extremely unprofessional and intimidating for customers . We informed the waitress about gluten allergy and asked about this ingredient in the beetroot and goat cheese salad. She served it later with cheese served on piece of white toast! Shocking. You guys could actually kill somebody this way. Better than training her about wines, teach her about food allergies. We asked about mixed selection of pierogies and heard back from chef( highly recommended by the entrance sign) that having two types of pierogi on one plate is impossible. Request like that in cheep train station bar can be accommodated. The food was good and presented nicely except of the old plastic tasted walnuts in the salad but no one could her our feedback becouse no one asked. Worth to remind that manager was sitting just next to us and heard our comments but no attention given. Shame, as the location it’s beautiful and could accommodate restaurant where staff and chef having some pride about the job. The “bottle water”, which brand was unknown was served warm and no ice. All 5 of us tasted just tap unfiltered water. I hope that this feedback can somehow help in improving the standards of the place.
